Man its been a long time since ive done a skin, i believe when you save it as a dds depending on what your using to paint with, there should be a place to select which alpha channels to use. On facebook if you have one, look up Slingindirt.com - The House That Demo Built and tell them what program your using and they could probably help.
when i place a logo after i have used smart erase and saved it as a dds i stuff that what looks to be what i already got rid of is showing up. any idea what i am doing wrong?

It depends on the mod. If there on a different template then the car then usually you would paint it up and put it in the skins folder along with your car and name it extra, or the name you used for your skin and beadlock. Again it depends on what mod your doing it for. Most likely you'd ask the mod maker and they could tell you.
Not sure what you mean by create an install thing? If you just recently downloaded Photoshop from online dirt connection's website its no longer there, you may have downloaded the install creator. You can still find Photoshop for free just need to look it up on Google. I believe its called photoshop cs4 portable.
hey man I got everything converted to a folder and dds file but for some reason when I add the folder into vehicles it wont show up in the game, im pretty fucking stumped dude so any help would be awesome. Im running dwd late model 2015
Merle Haggardson You dont need to make a folder in the rfactor folder, just place your dds skin file into a drivers folder in rfactor, or if there is a skin folder already just place it there

It doesn't show the paint program download just the dds plugin
they had to take it down, you can find it other places for free.
There is nowhere to download the photoshop on the skinworx website
They took it down awhile back, look up Photoshop cs4 portable free and you should find some. Make sure its a trusted site.

It's been taken off of the website, Best thing i could tell you is to look for it on google, look for an older version and also the compact version.
