The new WRX’s still miss that signature WRX rumble. I haven’t heard a single 2015 + WRX that sounds like it “should”. Every time I hear one, I’m disappointed.

Why not add UEL headers to your WRX
The normal wrx is more reliable and is still a fantastic car. If you don't like how it sounds, stick some new headers on.
@@aeternalis i have not seen anywhere with the 2015+ wrx that you can actually get the rumble sound, because of the way the turbo is setup yiu cant put the uel headers on them
@@jupiterscock1 its cuz of the twim scroll turbo, u pretty much have to swap out the whole turbo and everything else and at that point you might as well get an sti or the older wrx
That sounds incredible, I can't wait to go Stage 2 with this exact setup.
I think so to the Tomei exhaust seems to amplify the rumble more.
If you made a channel posting more videos of this with other cars/exhausts or a started a service offering this to exhaust companies where you film videos for their exhaust systems in this exact format. Now that would be killer dude. No one is doing it as well as you! Wish you the best :)

Thanks for the video. My 1 almost 2 year old loves cars and trucks. We have a Subaru and he loves the sound. When he hears subarus, evos, and muscle cars he turns his head instantly 😂 he sat here watching most of this video

I just spent $84,000 on my 06 Hawkeye and waited 4 months for the last thing I needed which was the Tomei exhaust and today it finally got installed but it sounds nothing like this. It's way too loud, very raspy, and lost its rumble. Can someone please help me why doesn't mine sound like this with a nice loud rumble? Could it be the Rotated Big turbo GT3582R? Please help, I need this sound in the video.

I can confirm that a tomei exhaust is essential on these cars
meanwhile in CA everyone is taking off their pipes, but next CA will make exhaust videos illegal. $1500 fine for mod exhaust(emission) no more REF, and if you have more then three at once they tow your car.

ok just got my STI exhaust on my 2023 WRX 6 speed and night and day, an exhaust change the dynamics of the car. I was not expecting such an improvement in sound power and driving experience. WOW and warranty also. Next is intake and steering wheel, then wheels
Car sounds great. I would love to do all that when I get mine but I'm terrified of voiding the warranty.

I would be more terrified doing all those mods without a proper tuning.
I need to know outside of the tomei, what other bits exhaust wise this car is running. Subarus shouldn’t be allowed to sound like anything else..this should be a requirement.

The only exhaust I love more than the classic boxer rumble is the RB and it’s a damn close second. I will never give up the boxer rumble for equal length headers I don’t care if it’s more efficient

@@carlotlife5013 Here in Texas we have all the way down to 86 (I didn't even know they made gas that shitty until I travelled out to west Texas) all the way up to 93. We also have a few gas stations near me that sell race fuel at the pump.
