India should consider converting plastic wast and bio wast (city wast and sewage wast) in to methanol fuel to use in automobiles. It can solve problems related to air, water and land polutions. And also save billions in foreign exchange.
This technique is actually good for environmental but there is also have some Drowback. . Due to pyrolysis process unwanted toxic gases are produced those gases are harmful to humans and animals. And also various types of acidic gases create H2SO4 & HNO3 etc Chance to acidic rain is very high.
Bull sheet. There is no acidic gas produced unlike in thermal and oil refinery. It releases LPG and can be stored and sold or used to run generators. Oil produced is like diesel can be refined or used instead of furnace oil It has 99% less sulphur than furnace oil and hence cleaner
We can also make these gases with water and turn them to sulphuric acid and nitric acid respectivly. Note sulphuric acid is very important for modern civilization.

Combustion will be complete inside a chamber due to high temp. Fresh air can be blasted into the chamber for high temperature. Exhaust will be harmless carbon dioxide which is non toxic and plants need carbon dioxide to grow. Win win situation.
