I only started playing rally games last month and I still have no idea what I am doing with RWD and 4WD cars, but the first seven ones are exactly the same cars I picked as well. Makes me feel I have at least some sense in judging what works well.
It took me about half of year to realise that steering is not as important as correct throttling and gear changing for good and correct turns. IDK real rally cars, but this works 4 me in all simulators. Idk why everyone has difficulties with rwd and maube 4wd (i see it in comments), for me FWD is fucking hell to tame, any FWD car is hours of training for me, while others are ok after 10 minutes of training
Pretty much agree with this list. Though out of all the cars, the 2 I always consistently place top 5-8% in the daily/weekly/monthly community events are the Lancia Delta HF (Group A) and the Citroen C4 (2000cc).
Group B is complicated I'd say the best car really depends on how well your able to keep the pedal pushed and the car straight Yeah you'll have to go sideways sometimes but in general you get the most speed trying to maintain acceleration by keeping the car stable and straight you can throw it in sideways in a corner so you can quickly accelerate out
It was the go-to in DR1 hands down. I hate how it handles in DR2 and I suffer in my times. I could never nail down a tuning that closest resembles the dream way it handled in DR1 lol

For me the best Gr.A is the Lancer. Indeed in real life that Gr.A was able to vanquish the firts WRC cars. Also, is the only Gr.A that have sequantial gearbox
I know this is way late but which Ford? I hated the Mk2 but the Mk 1 I was way quicker with. For that class I honestly did the best with the Citroen C3, slightly better times than the Golf. Ironcially the C4 Citroen in the 2000cc class is my best overall main car. Easily get top 5-8% in the community events consistently.
@@junkiexl86 Hello! Nowadays the mk2 is the fastest in every location, got extra horsepower etc. Mk2 even gets banned in many club competitions people make because it's too overpowered against other R5 cars. Yes in 2000cc C4 is the fastest car

Over time as you get more comfortable, you can bless us and sprinkle some of that English you’ve been practicing. It would just make your videos WAY more substantial.

Learn how weight transfer and oversteering works, it will help you a lot.
Honestly (and I say this without meaning to offend, I am sure you've gotten better) lower skilled drivers are some of the best at picking cars
Very late on this but a good tune and low steering linearity (1-3) and high steering sensitivity (75+)
Group B Audi for me. Hard to handle, but once you know how to drive it, it's fantastic
