I'm planning on mounting my fish finder over on the right side of the windshield. Is there a disadvantage doing it that way? I have the same boat. I'm also getting ready to install a 36v Minnkota Terrova trolling motor and I noticed your motor sits to the port side vs the center. Any issues with that like the chords slapping against the rail when the motor turns? I like the idea of having more walkway by the trailer ladder. Thanks for the video!
I have the same 20' sun tracker as you. I plan to install the helix 7 on the right side of my helm using a Ram ball mount. Did you install yours to the right side? And, do you like it there? Thanks
Great video, quick question though how did you route the transducer wire from the trolling motor mount? I have the exact same boat and have been thinking about setting up a depth finder in the front of the boat. Your setup looks very good.
I just ran it along the shaft all the way to the head. You just have to leave enough slack to allow motor to turn 180°. If you DM my IG @freshwater fiends I can send you pics if needed.
