These royal premises owned by the Crown Estates are a very odd set up as Prince Andrew has paid £7m for renovations for Royal Lodge, but:-
“The Crown Estate is not the private property of the King. Our assets are hereditary possessions of the Sovereign held 'in right of the Crown'. This means they belong to the Sovereign for the duration of their reign, but cannot be sold by them, nor do revenues from the assets belong to them.”
Maybe use a more likely comment, Charles would like to have this brother move to a different accommodation, not that he is trying to force him out

I can see Andrew's side of things but he is living in a dream world of his own called Status. He doesnt need to live in a building with 30 unused bedrooms that is falling apart at the seams. He claims that the lodge is his daughters inheritance, They've stated they don't want it. It's just a gigantic drain on his own purse for the upkeep e.g. £20,000 for new roof. Andrew is being stubborn instead of sensible. Frogmore would cost him less for upkeep and because it's on the Windsor estate, security is inclusive.
He can't seem to see that Charles is saving him money as well as cutting down on the cost of security.
I read somewhere that William and Catherine do not want to live in the Royal Lodge either.

Well Charles will just have to put up with it Andrew still has 45 years to run on the 75 year lease he got with the House when the Queen Mum left it to him in her 2002 will. Andrew pays for its maintenance,he no longer recieves any royal funding or security.( His beloved mum KNOWING he'll never work gor the family again will have left him provided for) Time and age will make him move somewhere ' smaller' its not like the Prince and Princess of Wales have nowhere to go is it😏 Is it really worthy of constant stirring the pot over where Andrew and Sarah are living we dont pay for its up keep,Charles isnt going to give it any of us to live in,none of the Royals will have to sleep rough if he doesnt move out. 🙄.
