    I made it into a written pattern for anyone who is looking for it (written in US Terms):
    ~ beginners should probably watch the video, but if you are experienced/know how to read a pattern, here you go :) ~
    dc = double crochet
    flo = front loop only
    inc = increase
    sl = slip knot
    ch = chain
    mc = magic circle
    w = with
    st = stitch
    whatever is inside * * is what should be repeated
    create mc
    Round 1: 14 dc into mc, pull tight, join w first dc using sl
    Round 2: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc into same st, *dc inc* repeat all the way around, join with 3rd ch using sl
    Round 3: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc into same st, 1 dc, *dc inc, 1 dc* repeat all the way around, join with 3rd ch using sl
    Round 4: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc into same st, 2 dc, *dc inc, 2 dc* repeat all the way around, join with 3rd ch using sl
    Round 5: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc into same st, 3 dc, *dc inc, 3 dc* repeat all the way around, join with 3rd ch using sl
    Round 6: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc into same st, 13 dc, *dc inc, 13 dc* repeat all the way around, join with 3rd ch using sl
    Round 7 - 14: ch 3 (counts as first dc), *dc* repeat all the way around [75 dc including ch 3], join with 3rd ch using sl
    Round 15: ch 3 (counts as first dc), IN FLO: dc into same st, 2 dc, *dc inc, 2 dc* repeat all the way around, join with 3rd ch using sl
    Round 16-18: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc into same st, 2 dc, *dc inc, 2 dc* repeat all the way around, join with 3rd ch using sl (will not be completed in perfect multiples of what is being repeated, just go as far as you can)
    Finish off and weave in your ends, you are done!

    I used this pattern to make an adorable mushroom hat! It’s my first ever crochet project and it came out so cute! My tips: I used medium weight (#4) yarn and a 5mm hook and the hat is just a little bit loose so I would probably recommend a 4.5mm hook. Also make sure you do the little hook twist when you’re making the magic circle because that kept tripping me up. I would also recommend using a paperclip as a stitch marker to keep track of that third chain that you need to slip stitch into each round.
    Thanks for this pattern, I love it so much!

    Just so no one makes the same mistake as me: USE A SIMILAR HOOK AND YARN SIZE TO THE TUTORIAL! I should've known better but I didn't think bulky yarn and an 8 mm hook wouldn't make a huge difference, but it did. It's more like a bucket than a hat and it's now a cat bed lol, I'll try again with a smaller hook and yarn, but make sure you don't go bigger or smalled because it WILL change the outcome a lot!

    thank u so much for this tutorial!! this is the first time I crochet and it turned out perfect, I used a 4mm hook and normal yarn/wool. The second time I used that fluffy tipe of yarn/wool and after 7 rows I saw that is was getting wayyy to wide so I took like 4 rows out and remade it but instead of increasing/keeping it the same, I made is smaller so every 5/6/8/10/15th (depends or which row) I did one double thing thru 2 holes. After every row I fittes it to see how it turned out and it worked perfect. If you see that it is the wrong size increase or do the opposite and don't be afraid to do something slightly dufferent than the tutorial, see it more as a guide instead or rules. Anyway I'm sooo in love with my hatsss😍🤩💖💖

  • @z...03
    @z...03 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Instructions are very clear. Im a beginner and im already getting a hang of it. My only problem is the sizing. With my first try, i used a thin yarn and a 2.0 mm hook, so it came out very small. With my second attempt, i used a fluffy yarn and a 5.0 mm hook, but im just on set 7 and the hat is already super big, so instead of 14 stitches in the magic circle, i cut down to 7, kept the same counts of stitches in set 2-14, and changed my hook to 4.0 mm. It came out okay but it's still too small for my head, i need to force it on my head for it to fit. Im now deciding to make the stitches on set 1, 10 counts, instead of 14. I don't know if this will work but I'll still try. If someone can give me an information that will help me, pls do.
