@@pastillachkitolina6874 I have no idea. Without a DTC (diagnostic trouble code) its impossible to lead you on the right path unless you want to start throwing parts at it. I would recommend getting yourself a decent scan tool so you can read what codes the car is throwing.
OH Dan! I wish we could have spoken before you broke the old one, since I did the exact same thing to my GS 2 years ago. And I had the same lovely surprise when I went to buy a new one. You would think they were made of gold. I now have another one out, at almost 200k miles, on its own merit, as I have never touched this one. Thanks for the video! Dan
How were your errors triggered? Just like that? I’ve replaced my struts and the dashboard looks exactly the same on my gs350 AWD 2013. After replacing the first one it was OK but after the other one I was happy to finish the job and started the car to see the dashboard lit up with the exact same errors. Even a handbrake comes on too. That’s so weird. There are no signs of the wires being broken but are the sensors or wires easily broken by just pulling them too hard when replacing the struts?
Hello my friend, please I want your help. A sign appeared on checked the four-wheel drive system after changing the differential gear and I did not find a sign like ABS or something similar.
I checked the errors at a garage and it’s the front left one. Says zero when moving. However, I just found a tutorial when you can clearly repair the wire yourself instead of splashing out 200-300$ on a new one. So I’ll try to fix mine today. We’ll see :)
@@TakeFlightGarage Exactly! You have a nice 944 as well! There are just some cars you don't sell and the 944 is one of those cars IMO. I love it dearly! I have owned my black 87' 944 Turbo for almost 20 years now and I have no plans to sell any of them. Once I get my dream garage built I plan on doing more videos on both cars. Hopefully next year I can start construction on my garage. :)
Have you used FLUID FILM? I tend to put that behind caliper hats between the hubs (apply and wipe in) and it's worked well. i.e. being the clip and on the mating surface...FLUID FILM...and it MAY...not stick next time? #suggestion I like the product. I think it's primarily lanolin, and some other oils, but it sticks and stays pretty good. I think Project farm did a video on it.
Heck yeah! I used that stuff on the bottom of our daily drivers every winter to protect them from road salt. So far it has done a really good job at protecting the car from corrosion and rust. The stuff is expensive, but IMO worth it.

The light I’m getting isn’t ABS but it is traction control
And it made my vehicle stall for a few seconds Do you think it’s a speed sensor?

You are my go to channel anytime I have a question about my GS-350. Keep making these videos.
Thank you! Happy to help!
So glad you are still making these videos. I’m using some of your old vids for routine maintenance on my newly acquired 2015 GS350. Many thanks!
No problem and I really appreciate the support! I needed a break from youtube, but I think I'm ready to get going again.

Thanks! Yeah, those wheel speed sensors are crazy expensive!!! I appreciate the kind words and you're welcome! Happy to help when I can!
Dan, his is great… GREAT information. I appreciate it. The issues are ever worse in a hybrid Toyota / Lexus.

Dan, completely off topic to this video I’m sorry, but do you still have that 86 944 turbo???
Absolutely! I still have both my red 86 944 Turbo and my black 87 944 Turbo.

I have a 2015 Lexus GS350 f sport and need to do the rear cv joints. Have you done yours yet?
Nope. Mine are fine even after 130k miles.
@@DIYDanCars Lexus of Tulsa just quoted me $3k to change both of my rear ones.

Damn I paid $1500 to replace all 4 sensors and have it synced by a Lexus dealership xD
That's not bad considering 4 sensors from the dealer can easily be $1200.
@@DIYDanCars is the sensor plug and play, does it not require any programing or syncing ?
@@flywithkahn No programming required. Simply unplug the old one and then plug in new one.
The only thing is wrong with this video is that you filmed it in fast motion 😮😢😮
