Before the prices of necromancy were clear, I liquidated my ranged gear for max necro stats and t90 gear, after finding out how cheap that became to be, I was pretty annoyed, jagex blessed me with a blood dye on thanksgiving, and I've being heavily debating investing back into range, and I think this might have convinced me 🤣

I personally got all the ancient scales myself from ed1 and then got 9 vorkath spikes in 150 vorkath kc so I bought the remaining 90 spikes to make the full elite dracolich set. I have tested it at many places and I have nothing negative to say about it, I crit wayy more without grimoire or kalg and it is very nice overall, very cheap repair cost compared to the elite sirenic and I definitely notice a difference with the elite draco vs elite sirenic. Now that doesn’t mean elite sirenic is obsolete but it is probably only worth using with crossbows now which I do not my blightbounds too often anymore because I have bow of the last guardian and sgb eof and ecb eof. I love the elite dracolich armor and it looks really cool too, it is expensive but definitely worth it and you’ll actually save so much money on the repair cost alone because you can repair on armor stand vs having repair patches. Rating 9/10

It's a 3 piece set just like the mage one because we already had the best boots/ gloves to use or switch depending on the boss.
The new armour I'm guessing will lose some perks from set when you switch too blast boots and cinder banes or nightmare gloves.
1:20 You don't need to switch to benefit from both. It's not amazing, but you can combine 2-3 piece draco with 2-3 piece sirenic (realistically, if you don't need fleeting, cinder, or nightmare gaunts, 2 & 3 is BIS if using crossbows).

22:15 Another correction. Sirenic is currently trading for roughly 6 mill for the entire set.
Yes, 6 mill is sub-100 mill, but your point would be a lot stronger if you were to point out that an entire Sirenic set is cheaper than a single Vorkath spike.
(Although getting into the weeds on the wonky math, any kind of Dracolich is cheaper to use than elite sirenic, which just doesn't make any sense at all anymore.)
All decent points. It all smells of highly rushed content and drops, which last time this happened, melee went to its current state, which were all last minute updates to fix the previous one. It's not a bad set per say, but yes it's one of the last upgrades to buy. I wish they took an extra month for Vorkath and rewards, and also thought this armor set through, because overall it's a flop of a boss.
For fleeting boots it would be nice if we can add the shadow spike from raksha to the fleeting boots along with the edraco boots to combine them.
Currently enhanced fleeting boots is a complete waste and never really worth it, so it would add meaning to enhance the boots
@@XJ9LoLI mean they may aswell, they already made afk the new meta. The company simply doesn't care. If they wake up and want it added it will be added whether ppl hate or not.
I used the armor and with 3 pieces barely noticed a difference but when I put on 5 pieces I noticed a huge difference. My Zammy time came down by nearly 20 seconds to 4:05 for 100%. My Raksha time came down to a 2:02 from a 2:09 without even getting a pool skip which is easily doable with the new armor. I think if you have Bolg active, ECB at 400k, channel rapid fire into a SGB then grico, dbow, piercing, dbow, piercing snapshot, grico, dbow you should clear it consistently.
I use elite sirenic and only the elite dracolich gloves and boots for the rapidfire adren gain. I only use my ecb as a grico switch for adren or ruby bolt procs, pairs pretty nice with the ranged cape passive (when added to anachronia passive cape stand). otherwise i camp bolg. I feel like the crit buff is pretty good, but definitely not worth its cost, plus having to re-perk the new set etc...
The extra adren helps me abuse debilitate so i can just camp soul split instead of prayer switching because im lazy af, i also run shield bashing 4, energising4 invig2 etc on my legs (instead of BIS devoted, etc) to give debilitate even more value as well as granting more adren for spamming piercing shot (and debilitate can crit!)
I’m new to killing HM glacor. What did you use in the first clip when it used frost cannon? I saw preparation, but usually I use devotion or a power burst. Always looking for new ways in case i have cooldowns on both!
Can use debil or reflect and res the third hit after using anticipation. Once the beta comes into the game, I'll be going through all boss and combat style combinations (including hybrid.)
recently getting into range and used only bows, was thinking maybe the t90 worth soon tm but with it still being over 400m for 3 piece def not worth it. rather just save for like sgb and ecd

I feel like the T90 version of the Dracolich Armor should have had a separate set effect than the T92 version. Right now its just a crappier version of the T92 passive. I think it would have been cool to give Ranged a Cryptbloom equivalent T90 tank set that maybe would make learning Ranged as a style a little easier. Besides all the upgrades you need at endgame, Ranged is just a complicated style that has a lot going on at once and I feel like this would have been a nice change to give Ranged learners a bit of a Cryptbloom crutch to smooth out the learning experience if they're coming from Magic or Necro.
im thinking is t90 dracolich armour enough or is the upgrade to t92 dracolich armour worth it?
If you have a seren godbow and a nexus for greater bone shield t70.
Also, it'd be nice if they made boots and gloves augmentable and then they let us break down the gloves and boots to treat them as perks.
How do you think bis ranged on a poison boss compares to necro when duoing with a necro (since you can also benefit from the haunted buff too)
Couldn't hurt if duoing, and would keep things more interesting than duo necro

@carguyrs: if you already have elite sirenic you can repair it to 100% and let an alt or a very trust worthy friend kill you in the red portal and get all the scales back. That way you don’t need to buy ancient scales and you ‘only’ need the t90 set.
I'm Still living under the copium they'll make better bolts in the future, or they'll make t95 dw weps broken beyond belief and require me to keep elite sirenic. In reality getting the scales back is an interesting idea
@@CarguyRS I just did it to avoid buying scales for insane prices haha you can buy the scales later on when they dropped or farm them with the new armour :) Also I share partially your copious, although if they do that they destroy a T95 longbow coming from the biggest and hardest boss in the game 😅
the 3 piece set paired with cinderbanes and fleeting boots works rather well ive noticed pairing rapid fire with snap shot tho i think the set bonus for the T92 set should be different from the T90 or even stronger then the T90 as of right now its exactly the same your better off buying the T90 set anyway
on a different note : sirenic and those that already have sirenic got ripped off as the set is now pretty much useless nobody uses crossbows anymore and the dragonstone bolt e effect is pretty much worthless
I'll live in copium that dw t95 ranged will be good, and my two elite sirenic sets won't be useless for much longer :prayge:

Honestly, my take on it is that this is a fix to deathspores (since rapid -> grico is now reliable for swiftness incend). Would have been nicer to put the reliability straight onto the ammo, but Vorkath itself is rushed content. 3 piece achieves this deathspore fix just as well as 5-piece.
But it's very clear from the beta that they just don't have a plan for BOLG, or whether necro is still meant to be the strongest style after the beta releases. (I think they'll keep nerfing anything that comes close to necro, and keep themselves painted in a corner because they realistically shouldn't be buffing necro any harder either.)

Nah, just needs whetstones for repair (or armor stand in poh, or bob in lumbridge, etc.)

I like this armor just because I always hated double crossbows meta, it always sounded so dumb to me. Now bows can shine properly.
It's said that our community and game is so solocentric. Apart from Vorago and Nex AoD, there are not any boss worth doing a party to adventure with, or people willing to go. I wish we had more decent DnD like buffs that you could cast on others, true tanking and agro management (for a defensive style/build), healing spells and so on.
Because the game became efficiency rather than fun. If u want max profit u can solo. Beside this most players are also liberal meaning talking about politics leads to a ban or mute. I mean a cc i was in was complaining about politics and just from my mere comment leads to me getting kicked out cuz clanleader couldn't debate.

Its also really annoying you need to channel the full rapidfire, should have been something like 2t per rapidfire hit
Have to disagree with raksha.. I just got a 1:40 no poolskip with the armour. And average like 1:55 vs like 2:10 sirenic
Faster average like I stated over sirenic, just a better kill time. I for sure didn't use any optimal rotations, but I think range camp records were in the 1:30s. This set would at least take down the hour count for hunting one of those at least

They are designed for two entirely different weapon types. This armor does nothing for cbows, the minute cbows get another power creep update it becomes meta again.

It doesn’t matter, it’s already T95 in stats. This is due to the weird way range gear was designed. If it was T95 it would actually be something like T100+ gear. RSguy did a good break down video that explained it better. Basically all you need to care about is it’s T95 stats despite saying it’s T92.

I don't macro, and you don't need to make up explanations for something that's explained in multiple videos. I have a keybind guide that explains everything as 1:1.

Necro is a much simpler with 0 switches and performs very well (if not better) at most bosses. As mentioned in the video, a full set of BIS necro is around the same price as just the dracolich armor alone.
I really dislike the way RS is going. Locking benefits with time delays is the wrong direction in my mind. Gear swapping is the skill ceiling in this game, Its what separates pro players from good players. I get RS wants to create different builds and that is nice but when the only real build is DPS its not going to work with a game that any class can be anything.
Games (MMOs) with weapon switches are the least popular types of games. I am amazed they even went with this unpopular build. Plus they don't even allow macros making it an even more toxic system.
You shouldn't be able to switch what armor you're wearing mid-fight anyway. Like it makes no sense that while fighting a boss you can somehow disrobe, pull another set of armor out of your backpack, and then put that on all in the middle of a life and death encounter
