Done well mate 👍 I'm a dirtbike rider but done many meetings on the drag strip with my Kawasaki zx12r, yeah clutch problems will always arise unfortunately, just driving off the line will save your clutch a lot. Out bush on a dirtbike is way more fun 💯. Well done again thanks for the upload.
Yeah too much dirt bike guy in me going full throttle then a clutch dump! I will drive it off the line a bit smoother next time, still, was a fun day out, can't wait to get it sideways on the speedway track in 2 weeks!
@oldmanspeedadventures yeah mate true still is fun getting together with like minded enthusiasts 👍 also try going off the groove & on to the sticky stuff that hasn't been used much , that's grippy too if you're not running a slick. I remember your upload from last time you did flat track on the Harley 👍 speedway should be right up you're gasoline alley 😁🤙🤙
Old man speed is still pretty quick.....they may beat you on their track....get them to race on your bush track.....I always tell the street guys the deal is....I follow you for an hour and then they follow me for an hour. Garth
haha yeah exactly but hey some of those dudes get those bikes going! The off road tyres certainly didn't help getting off the line, rookie error, I will be back for next year, Speedway on the Pan Am is next in 2 weeks!
Looks like an awesome day 👌
Yeah, it was a good one!
Great video Mal !!! 👍👍👍 #DoASkid
Thanks mate, that's exactly what we were going for!!!

Great watching, thanks Mal.
Cheers mate!
That looked like lots of fun. I suppose you don't have the stock tyres laying around for next time, would provide better traction on tarmac.
Sitting in the shed! Was about to put them on but ran out of time, I will for sure next time!

Did you leave the traction control activated? I would, to prevent wheel spin.
nah had it turned off, not sure if it would just retard the engine too much, I have never done this on bitumen, I am purely a dirt guy!
