I am 57 years old now I remember going on this ride with my mother when I was 8 years old. Then I remember going on this ride with my aunt and I was 22 years old. Throughout the time that we used to go to Disneyland almost every day to get lunch one or two rides I always rode and that was this ride and the submarine ride oh and the cars too I don't know if they still have the card or not.
I recall it being so much slower back in the days. 20 minute rides were the norm( 1/2 hour on slow days). This seems more like: 'Look here. Look here, and here for the last second tacked on IP. Your done. Get out.'

The lighthouse in the queue is actually one of the old ticket booths when Disneyland had tickets for each land.
