This format has been so fun to watch. I hope you do more of them, especially with coh 3 once it releases.
Let's hope COH 3 will have more than one viable strategies so we won't need a Diversity Cup
@@fotiskazelis multiple strategies does not enforce a variety of units all together, so the diversity cup is still a unique gameplay opportunity.

I am a massive rts lover. First game I ever played online was Tiberiun sun. I have never played any of the coh but I gotta say this looks amazing to me.
Visually it literally looks like you are playing in over a massive warhammer tabletop and the gameplay feels like StarCraft 2 without dealing with all the worker/builder micro and mostly focus on combat.
I can’t wait to play this game. First 60 dollar game I’ve bought in a long time
Coh2 remains true to history. Allied force always winning, previous tournament Soviets, and now USF.

So... I think we've decided not to do diversity cup anymore? USF is clearly too OP for this. Just seems like players at this level have such a grasp of the factions and mechanics that you already know who's going to win in this case.
Isildur's tourney story is beautiful. I think he wasn't even trying hard enough this time. I was bored before but I know I just really enjoy watching him win. Especially when you lose track of him and suddenly you see his enemy defeated. I watched some previous tourneys and so far I'm not convinced other players could really beat him now.
Thanks for tourney! It's a shame I wasn't able to watch it live but still it's great. Also thanks for giving away coh3 to those who were lucky

That final game was just so sad to watch. Why would the guy throw it all away like that and use Wehrmacht instead of USF? It's well known that Wehrmacht's units underperform on an individual level, losing 25% of their DPS every time one model gets dropped while requiring 30+ MP for each model... just why? I don't understand why he'd throw so badly.
Really fun style of game. However, as many people pointed out the USF were really powerful. Rather than ban them would a faction terminator make more sense? So each player can only play a faction once per game. In a B05 that goes all the way every faction would be played then.

I think that the next time this format is used, it would be a good idea to ban the use of USAF, otherwise we won't see other allied factions

there is a axis commander which alows you to repeatadly call in goliaths. tha would be fun in this format.
Suggestion: Could you add chapters to the YT vid so we can skip through the talking between games easier?

Good format but something needs to be done about that usf doctorine, by game 3 it was so predictable it just wasnt fun to watch.

uhm whichever's cheapest, from what I can see based on publicly available video CoH3 seems well optimised.
the format of this diversity cup is so skewed in favor of USF that i dont think its a wonder that people bothered to show up at all. because of the officers you will always be a squad up on your opponent to cap around the map. the first match exemplified that where the USF player had both fuels for a lot of the game. he always had a squad left to go cap somewhere on the map which allowed him better control of the fuels and starve his opponent out. leading to him comfortably fielding a lot of tanks. its that he went for the AT gun instead but we all know he could have gotten a Sherman much faster, even the casting team said it.
for future diversity cup events this will need to be looked at. allowing the USF to run away in squad count is just too much.
in game 3 you see it again. the axis player is constantly fuel starved. not cause the player is so bad but cause he just deosnt have the squad numbers to contest both sides of the map.
now on to solutions. the USF player needs to get officers in order to tech, but allowing them on the field is too much. i think a good one is to tell players that they can get two on the field one in base. one of which being the major. the LT and the captain is too strong in my opinion. the major and another officer would be fine. the other one can stand in base and supervise the inspection of the sandbags or tell the men to do push ups.
P.S.: you can say that you have had close games in other games. and that may be true. but these small differences become larger and larger as the players get better and better. there is a reason why we only saw USF on the allied side this finals. as a last point. you saw it in the VP scores in every match. the matches weren't even close.

I was thrilled in the beginning but it’s just boring because of USF being too powerful atm, so nah. It’s more like ”Who gets to play the most OP faction the most -Cup”. Off to other games again, shame.
Ban usf in next tourney bcs this op infantry not interest to watch, usf always got more and stronger infantry on field it's wrong
