looks awesome, I want to ask couple of questions... Why you pick 6500's instead of 7500 ? are you using stock gearing ? I have 250 TBI Husqy my gearing is 13/48.
7500 cartridges are designed as the upgrade for the new XACT forks. They have cone valve tech in them as the new forks come stock with a closed cartridge which is something similar to the 6500 upgrade. This years GASGAS still uses the older XPLOR Open Cartridge forks so your options are to goto a 6500 kit or to goto a full WP Pro XPLOR Cone Valve fork which is around 3 times the price. For a rider of my level, the benefits I would get from them versus the cost doesn't really add up so the the 6500 cartridge gives me the most bang for your buck. I'm currently running stock gearing and I'm very happy with it. May try out a few different sprocket sizes in the future but I haven't felt the need to so far!
Hey, nice build! Question, are the forks the exact same as last years? I have Cone valves on my KTM at the moment so want to know if they’re a straight swap. Unlike the new KTMs where I’ll need new spacers
I’m pretty sure the cone valves will still fit it as the GasGas didn’t get the suspension upgrades that’s the Husky and KTM did. The 6500 cartridges in mine are the exact ones that were in the old models
Question about chain tension. The manual is wrong but the sticker shows 58-61. Thats accurate right? Seen some videos regarding KTMs needing high 60s to low 70s based on newer frame.

@@clrrkok thanks! By the way, I thought they got the shock upgrade, just not the forks?
@@OSR_1 yeh the rear shock is the Xact instead of the Xplor on the 24 models

I'm gonna be honest I've never been one to get too worried about chain tension. Couple of fingers slack at the swingarm chain guide and I'm good to go
