Fantastic restorations on both castings, took them from play worn to premium. To put your mind at ease the Miura in The Italian Job was switched with a wrecked one, the DVD commentary reveals this, surprisingly a lot of the cars in this film that meet their end where recued and rebuilt after.
Love the Miura it's not only a favorite car but it's also a favorite casting. A few years ago I found the Matchbox magazine add from back in the day and it's framed hanging in my wall
I showed up late to the premier, i was messing around with a coupoe castings of my own, but nothing that turned out that good! The vacuum press really comes in handy, it made that Marzal look way better, than it would have with the orange glass. Very nice, and bery well done, on both cars!
I love this era of European cars, they are crazy and so beautiful. The Miura is (in my opinion) the most beautiful car of all time. Great work retuning both of these to their former glory.
Salut maple. Alors je les ai vu sur insta et j ai kiffé. Elles sont vraiment réussie. Les roues sont splendides, ça donne un plus , vraiment. Et tes peintures sont très belles. Bravo 👏 👏 👏. 😉
Hay Andrew long time my friend.great build as always that car crash scene looks like . we're you live to me well the swiss apps I might be worng but sure was a nice Lambo any way great pick .always like the super fast builds you do and the 55.chevys are my fav wishing you the best you and your family ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for visiting, David. I believe that scene in the film was done in the Dolomite mountains in northern Italy, just across the border from Switzerland. It's a great driving road! All the best to you and yours. 🍁☕️
I love when you go back to the roots and work on these vintage Matchboxes! Collecting old Matchbox became a hobby for me during the pandemic and that’s how I discovered your channel. The Miura is my favourite Matchbox casting. I think I’m at over 15 between the gold and yellow versions! I just can’t resist them when I see one as there could be a tiny shade or wheel variation. I like what you did with both cars particularly creating your own glass for each. I also love how you made the unpainted base’s shine! Great work!
Great looking pair, gold and black is a good mix for two such distinguished castings. Repaired and refurbished expertly as always. Thanks for Kicking off my Sunday Morning!
What a great story you tell, Andrew! I love the history you weave into your videos. The vacuum-formed replacement glass came out great, and this story has a happy ending with two beautiful Lambos!
Thanks, Tom. I couldn't leave two such nice cars in a state of disrepair. As much as I enjoy creating customs, there's always going to be a place for restoring the classics. Much harder actually, than just glueing those random pieces on our Gaslands vehicles, don't you think?! The Marzal will go to the Goodwill store, but the delicate repairs on the Miura disqualify it as a kid's play toy. I've got lots of others like these needing some TLC. 🍁☕️
Watching your videos with the great jazz music in the background always brings a calm to my day. I much enjoyed your Fury Road builds as I have made 200 of that style.
I enjoyed seeing you take on the Marzal and I'm jealous of the clear glass you made! I did a couple of them last year and in once I cut out the centre of the roof after seeing that the original car had a glass roof. It looked so much better than having the odd line on the roof but it did unfortunately show more yellow perspex!
Thanks, Stewart. Not too many people are familiar with the Marzal. The clear glass helps. Don't know what Matchbox was thinking with that yellow piece! 🍁☕️

A couple of beautiful Lambos there my friend either one would look good in anybody's collection say hi to Petra for us keep up the good work have a good one and God bless and I can't wait to see your tow truck
Thanks, John. I use a vacuum forming machine to make the clear windshields. I don't have a dedicated video on that but first saw it demonstrated on Adam Savage's Tested TH-cam channel. Have a look there for a full account. 🍁☕️

Thanks, John. I had read that there was some hanky panky like that during filming. It would have been heartless to trash a perfectly good Miura! 🍁☕️
Love the Miura it's not only a favorite car but it's also a favorite casting. A few years ago I found the Matchbox magazine add from back in the day and it's framed hanging in my wall
You're a super fan! The Miura is definitely Lamborghini's finest! 🍁☕️
Nice repair work and finished product Andrew.
🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
Thank you, Steve! I like to get them back into circulation. 🍁☕️
Nice restorations, details and paint jobs 👌 👍
Thank you, Joe! Cheers! 🍁☕️
Another spectacular shabby to shiny transformation. The muira is one of my fav lambos hope all is well
Thanks, Neil. The Miura is near the top of my list of all cars! 🍁☕️🇨🇦
Beautiful pair, great work, brother.
Much appreciated, Gary! 🍁☕️

I'm with you on that. I'll take the classic Lamborghinis like the Miura, over the spaceships they're putting out now. Thanks for watching! 🍁☕️

Never heard of a Marzal, beautiful.
Thanks, Uri. The Marzal is an interesting footnote in the Lamborghini history. Just a concept car. But a cool one! 🍁☕️

Well I have to say, I did not think you'd bring them back to life so well. Brilliant repairs. Coffee time.
Thanks, Aaron. I surprise myself sometimes! 🍁☕️
I love the respect you pay to these little works of art❤
Thanks, Mark! Art is the right word for a classic Lamborghini. 🍁☕️😎
Spot on beautiful! Never saw the original Italian Job, wow, what an ending! I liked the lineup of men watching the destruction.
Thanks, Mark. You've got to see the original with Michael Caine. One of the all time great car movies! Hard to see that Miura get trashed though! 🍁☕️🎥
I’ve always enjoyed these 2 castings. I love how they hold up, and look with better wheels. You’ve captured the curves very well, Andrew.
Thank you very much, my friend. Can't go wrong with a couple of classic Lamborghinis! 🍁☕️😎

Both cars look great!
Thanks, Kevin! 🍁☕️
Love the final black paint job! That's very classy looking mate, great building skills 🤙🏽
Thanks! The one and only Marzal was done in silver, but black is my favourite. I thought it looked good with the resprayed tan interior. 🍁☕️
They both came out amazing Andrew. 😎
Thanks, Armando! Gotta give a Lamborghini some extra TLC. 🍁☕️

Thanks, brother. That sounds like quite a catalogue of Fury Road vehicles! Keep going! 🍁☕️
Was was doing a 924 Porsche and I was filing down the rough window area and 3 pillars broke
Yeah, that happens. It's not too touch to fix up though. 🍁☕️
Amazing work, Andrew......both immeasurably better; proper eye candy! Gold can be a tricky one sometimes. Very nicely done 👏🏻🇨🇦👌🏻🇬🇧👍🏻🇨🇭
Thanks, Jack. They came out well and the metallic fleck in the gold paint was just enough to help camouflage the repaired joints on the Miura! 🍁☕️😉
a coffee well deserved - very nice job sir !
Thank you kindly. Wishing you a fine day today! 🍁☕️

I’ve made an attempt at a couple of customs I’d love to get into making decals
Making decals is an essential skill in the hobby. Start small and work your way up. It's very satisfying. 🍁☕️
Great stuff Andrew!! Outstanding video as always!!! Question what gage of plastic do u use on the windshield!! For the vacuum machine
Thanks, Eddie. I'll send you a pic of the sticker on the clear plastic sheet that has the specs on it. 🍁☕️
Great looking cars! Nice job! What did you use to make the new windows? Do you have a video on that?
Thanks, John. I use a vacuum forming machine to make the clear windshields. I don't have a dedicated video on that but first saw it demonstrated on Adam Savage's Tested TH-cam channel. Have a look there for a full account. 🍁☕️
@MapleLeafCustoms Thanks. Love Adam, haven't watched any of his TH-cam stuff.
What did you use for decals?
I make my own decals. In this case, I think just the hood badges.🍁☕️
You should sell parts!
Too far off the beaten path! The shipping $$ makes it unreasonable. 🍁☕️
I need a real Pantera
We all do! 🍁☕️😀
