I'm a 52-year-old male. I was put on TRT 7 years ago. Sex Drive, Erections, Energy Level, Mood all improved within a few weeks of starting. I was very obese during this period (6'3 and 365 lbs.). Then, 3 years ago, I put in the work and created the discipline to start working out (cardio/weights 6 days per week) and watching what I ate (caloric deficit and protein target). It was the combination of TRT, diet, and exercise that really transformed me. Today, I've lost almost 100 pounds of bodyfat, I can run an 8 min mile, bench 315, and see my abs for the first time in 20 years. TRT alone won't do that. It took work to accomplish what I did. However, I do think without TRT I wouldn't have had the energy or the drive to start this journey. I'm never going back!
John, if your picture is fairly recent, you seem to be a young man. I don't know why you are concerned with testosterone levels. You first need to check your FREE testosterone and if it is below, say, 15 -16 ng/dL, then take action. If you are below the age of 55 - 60y.o. your first step should be to take Clomid. A study has shown that a daily dose of 25 mg clomiphene citrate (CC), taken for at least 3 months is effective in stimulating the endogenous testosterone production. Clomiphene (Clomid) is much cheaper than testosterone, it stimulates your body to make its own testosterone naturally and in a lot of cases, after a course of Clomiphene (again, minimum 3 months) men do not need to take it anymore. On the other hand, testosterone is a forever-treatment. One has to keep taking testosterone, it is expensive to buy and it definitely leads to testicular dystrophy. If, however, you HAVE to take testosterone, make sure you take the nasal spray kind, because it's shown to have least side effects - the injectible testosterone thickens your blood and increases the risk of cardiac events like stroke and heart attack. Good luck! 🍀

TRT took away my OCD, Depression, anxiety, gave me unreal cognitive function improving my well being tremendously! Also I’m only 3 months in can’t wait for more benefits. TRT completely transformed my life.
@@sv3752 I had Harm OCD man and it was hell for me but in reality I probably had a moderate case of it. Getting on TRT while doing therapy like ERP really helped me overcome ocd and it has no hold on me anymore
I'm 59 and have been on TRT for about three years. My libido is about what it was in my 30s, maybe even my 20s. In short, it's EPIC. I'm on the prowl all the time. I work out hard three times a week and my strength and physique are the best they've EVER been in my life. In general I feel ridiculously healthy and am very energetic. I make other guys my age who aren't on TRT look like middle aged broken down wrecks. GET ON TRT AND GET YOUR LIFE BACK!!!
Just started 12 weeks ago and am already seeing most of the discussed items. Muscle up, mood up, oil production up, body fat down, cholesterol and triglycerides are down. In my mind, the trade offs are absolutely worth it. So thankful for all the resources out there now. Keep up the good work.
@@GaryBeal-doingmorewithless120 mg cyp. Been on it for nearly a year now. Started with BF 32% and am down to 15%. Visceral fat is almost entirety gone. Best shape of my life. I’m slowly losing my hair, but given all the other benefits, it seems worth it.
@@Markymarkchitowndid your balls get smaller? Thats what scares me lol i should have my blood test results by friday but not sure i will go through treatment for that reason lol. I know it sounds silly
Outstanding! Nice informative show, Thank you. I am 56, Ive got 5 weeks now on 100 mg cream and desiccated thyroid. I have noticed a tremendous change in energy and most of the brain fog is gone. I have put on 4 pounds so far and am having postive results in nightime erections. After watching this, I see that I am right on track. What a difference!!!! Thanks guys for being informative. 👍👍
My test levels are 75ng down from 130ng 3 years ago. Still waiting on getting TRT approved. Ireland is in the stone age when it comes to such matters. I'm 58. Only an high protein diet and training is stopping all my muscle from going. It's almost impossible to put any muscle mass on.
I understand your frustration with the approval process in Ireland. Diet and training are essential for maintaining muscle, but it can be challenging to gain mass with low testosterone levels. Hopefully, you'll get the approval for TRT soon to help with your progress. Keep pushing forward!
One thing overlooked with guys who were low-t for years is that due to lack of nocturnal erections, morning wood, and normal erections occurring via sexual interest, you’re weakening your pelvic floor muscles because you’re not using them. So expecting TRT alone to improve it that rapidly, when it’s taken years to weaken the muscles, is just unreasonable. In my experience, tadalafil helped a lot, it allowed me to get fully hard, and from there I could easily strengthen my pelvic floor muscles because it’s easy to tell that I’m activating them.
Hey great post and good info. Oh absolutely. TRT with a little tadalafil is the winning ticket if you have been out of the morning wood game for awhile. It last about (3) days around the clock so its very convenient for those spontaneous moments. Morning wood to the max! I absolutely love it. I was so excited my first round , I played the air guitar with my boner the first morning like I did when I was like 10. I'm 53.....bernernernerner!!!!
@royturnwall6467 wow. Good to know. I am 42 and lost my erections completely! Don't even get morning wood which is scary to wake up to a limp penis. But needing to take multiple drugs and Inject myself for the rest of my life is real scary. I don't even take aspirin!!
Thanks for the clarity on what to expect/when. Just started trt and quick expectation of resolution of symptoms has been an bad obsession. I guess the short answer is; RELAX....
“Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It’s fantastic to hear that the TRT treatment has made such a positive impact on your health and well-being.
Thank you for this video. It’s refreshing to listen to a video wherein two calm, articulate men are intelligently discussing this topic. There are far too many videos of pedantic and dogmatic gym bros or know it all health professionals blathering on about “the right way” to do TRT. I especially appreciate you bringing up the point that putting on muscle mass in your neck can unmask or precipitate sleep apnea. I saw exactly such a patient at a year interval who’d hit the gym hard and beefed up remarkably. He was delighted with his muscle mass but I recognized why he was feeling tired beyond what one would expect from the gym routine. He ended up needing COAP treatment.
We're glad to be the antidote to those "gym bros" and know-it-all health professionals! We believe in having a calm and intelligent discussion without all the blathering. Plus, we like to keep it real and throw in some humor along the way. Thanks for watching!
Im 49. 10 yrs ago I was 19% bmi, but you STILL can't see my abdominal muscles. 5 months on trt my abs are exploding and I don't even lift weights anymore nor exercise. I'm without time to take such good care I'm a caregiver for my mom + work + no assistance from anyone and the depression which is going away thankfully. Being ripped to hell without even trying is one way to fix low t depression! Every time I take a shower, I'm like, wow! 🤩👌 I'm getting spots on my tummy where there is no fat and you can really see abs. Fat repositioning is so awesome. I'm sure it will stop I bet and it only goes so far. Lack of depression is so relieving
@balancemyhormones tyvm, it was from watching the pod cast and I had every symptom and the needle was intimidating but really only the first time or two. Now I just throw it in there lol take care

Forget the doctors they will put you in nebido which is ok but next to useless as it's too long injections. Go to manual ,do the 2 blood tests and you'll be in it within 6 weeks. I was . And your levels easily qualify you for TRT.. Also eat better foods ,sleep better and exercise
I’m 48 and have been on methadone for years. It absolutely destroyed my hypothalamic loop. I used to have normal levels of 700ng+ levels. High sex drive, athletic etc.. last 3-4 years tested from 43-130NG/dl. Masturbating less than monthly. No spontaneous erections. No chasing girls. No flirting. Etc. divorced 8 years ago and celibate since and couldn’t care less. Finally decided to do TRT. MD gave me 100mg per week. I’m a nurse and no issue self injection. By the 3rd shot sex drive absolutely skyrocketed. Muscle pumps. Overall muscle hardness. By the 6th week now, levels pushing 1,000 and sex drive through the roof. Erections Half the day. I feel like Steve Rodger on the super serum. I’m back to dating and feel so much better! I’m super super happy!!
Sounds very similar to my situation. I have been taking suboxone for just over 3 years and I feel that it has tanked my hormones as well. I hit the gym hard and get brutal results. Depression and anxiety, no confidence. Absolutely zero libido and no dating. I have a bloodtest on Wednesday, so I am quite anxious/excited to hopefully get some direction. Just a quick question, do you plan to get off of the methadone? I have already tapered my suboxone dose quite a bit, and I feel like sorting out my hormones will help me to drop the suboxone entirely. Not trying to get ahead of myself, but I will say that for the first time in a long time I feel optimistic about the future. Cheers brother !
Thanks lads for all your information. I was thinking things weren’t happening for me on TRT but now will give it more time . I’ve been on it for 8 months and things are slow . 👌
I felt effects within 4 days. 20lb put on in 3 weeks. Eating 5000 calories a day ,training 5x a week sleeping 8 hours all gave me triple the boost most people would of got but I was always an athlete in my youth and at 52 I still have a BPM of 44 220 lb at 16% body fat. I will go to 240lb at 12% body fat but I need so e fat as I need long term energy as I'm a plasterer. If anyone doubts the effect of TRT ,don't. It's amazing but you CAN BOOST IT EVEN FURTHER as I show on my pages .I train people around the world and now I can do it even better. Go for it
I noticed within 24 hours HUGE energy strength motivation calmness focus within 4 months sex drive Is amazing unlike I ever experienced In my life, and I've gained alot of muscle and lost alot of fat TRT Is just amazing
That's fantastic to hear! Increased sex drive is one of the positive effects some individuals experience with TRT. I'm glad it's making a positive impact on your well-being. Keep monitoring your progress, and if you have any questions or updates, feel free to share them. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thanks for this very informative and detailed content. I’ve been looking for the changes that has a timeline, sometimes other information tend to imply that changes are instant.
I've been on TRT for about 7 months now. Before TRT my test was at 345. I'm on 180mg a week now my level is around 1100. The clinic I'm going to told me once a week. But I kinda felt energy dropping around 5 days after shot. So I started playing around with the frequency of my shots and found that if I split the dose in 3 doses per week my energy and mental clarity are pretty constant. So 3 times a week seems to be the sweet spot for me. I Findley have the energy to hit the gym and be productive at work ( I'm a maintenance guy in a factory ). The thing that used to bum me out was that I'm friends with the owner of the gym and have a free membership for life and still didn't go. Now I'm back in the gym at least 3 days a week. I'll stick with TRT for as long as It works for me.
Increased sex drive, gym energy, confidence all went up which is great. Downside is holding 4-5kgs of water and the feeling of being over emotional, tip toeing on the door of sadness. Just my experience 👍
My mood has improved dramatically since starting trt a few weeks ago. Sucks that you seem to have had the opposite effect. Perhaps you could use a good antidepressent? I take a small dose of sertraline. That combined with TRT has worked wonders for me.
I'm 27 and at 396 I'm starting TRT next Tuesday, all my life I've had a mediocre bother despite doing kickboxing for 2 years I can't seem to look athletic at the least or even gain muscle, I'm excited to try it but very nervous don't want to end up depressed or anything
I started because of depression and anxiety I’m 5 weeks in and have already been seeing the improvement in mood and lack of anxiety. Also when I have tasks to complete I’m going straight to them instead of running away and procrastinating. Best of luck brother
@@kingcobraslastcigg3521 How you doing now??? Funny, I started on trt about 6 weeks ago and just last week, i started to really notice that I'm completing tasks and wanting to do normal things that I used to always put off doing. Last weekend I worked on my whole yard, then went and helped my parents at their house, then came back and worked even more at our house. I feel so much better than I did!
Did you end up starting I've just done mine and I'm also age 27 and result was 395ng/dl, free test 8.2ng/dl. Feeling most of the symptoms from low test other than Ed, although libido is low until physically aroused
Losing my hair has been one of my fears, there's no history of MPB in my family so this has put my mind at rest that I might not. In fact my dad has more than most women at 70.
I understand your concerns. Everyone's experience with TRT can vary, and it's crucial to make informed decisions based on individual circumstances. Always prioritize your health and well-being first.
@@Magar6 but had you tested or just looking into it? If you're not genuinely low & not suffering the symptoms then I would totally agree with you that it isn't worth it.
Hair loss in men is part of testosterone and it's genetic cos it comes under the term the male pattern baldness, I have an element of the male pattern baldness in me as I started losing hair on the top of my scalp since I was 21 and I have receded even more now that I'm 30 but it's cos one of Grandads had the male pattern baldness as did also one of my Great uncles so as a result I have it as genetic inheritance from them
I'd rather be healthy with wood, and have less hair, then have low testosterone and all of its related issues and have a head of hair. Hair is not everything.
I’m 30, had two separate tests done both under 340. Got approved. I’m already in great shape I’m worried that I will look “too big” will that be an issue? Mostly wanted to start TRT because mentally I feel like shit.
Well looking too big may be subjective. Adding lean mass or even looking more lean may make your muscles looking bigger. Trying to stay lean may help you not look too big with your clothes on at least. TRT is about improving health and wellness so this should be your biggest priority.
Went on TRT in 2016, 80 nL/dL. At that time PSA was a healthy 1.6. Now, in 2023, my PSA is 4.4. Had an MRI with contrast which revealed an enlarged prostate at 96cc, which is 5X the size of a normal healthy prostate. I’m mostly vegetarian, consuming mostly organic, I eat poultry several times a month. I never smoked, never drank, never did recreational drugs. There is no doubt TRT caused my prostate enlargement, putting me at risk for cancer.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience with prostate enlargement. It's important to understand that testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can have side effects, including prostate enlargement. However, it's also important to note that BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) is a common condition that affects many men as they age, regardless of TRT usage. BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) itself does not cause or lead to prostate cancer. Your history of being mostly vegetarian and consuming organic foods, as well as never smoking or drinking, is a positive factor in reducing your overall risk of prostate cancer. However, it's important to continue to monitor your prostate health regularly and discuss any concerns with your doctor. In addition to monitoring your prostate health, there are other lifestyle changes that may help manage symptoms of BPH, such as exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, and reducing stress. Your doctor may also recommend medications or other treatments to manage BPH symptoms. Overall, it's important to have open and honest communication with your healthcare provider about your concerns and any potential risks associated with TRT. They can help you make informed decisions about your prostate health and overall well-being.
Your diet isn’t helping you. Animal fat is essential for human health, eating some chicken muscle meat a few times a month isn’t doing anything. You need to be eating steak, fat, organs.
I’m 34 at 292 hopefully starting soon, waiting for my 2nd set of labs to confirm my levels. Curious what symptoms you had. I was extremely tired. Like unbelievable low levels of energy. Was treated for sleep apnea, better sleep but still tired. Hoping raising this will help.
43, 275 lbs... just injected my second TRT dose and this week all my depression is GONE, i have more mental focus, i have slept better than i have in years, and i just feel stronger at the end of a long stressful day. Can't believe the last 5-10 years could have been different if my doctor would have diagnosed me correctly and Prescribed TRT.
@@ash6415 the day after my first injection i was like this is BS (nobody told me what to expect) but by the morning of day 3 I woke up with an overall sense of happiness and wanting to go to work, wanting to go to the gym. I wasn't completely depressed anymore or exhausted after work like i have been since i started a year ago. My first workout at the gym after the injection I burned over 1000 calories according to my Garmin Fenix watch because I just kept going with all this energy. I felt my energy go by day 7, but after injecting my second dose I have renewed that energy and motivation. Trust me, My T levels were in the low 200s for the last year so I definitely would feel a difference quickly
@@ash6415 nowhere does it says it starts working in exactly 3 weeks. I've "heard" it takes 6 weeks for it to build up in your body and you to start getting the major results, but for someone who has T levels in the low 200s it most definitely will have some instant benefits.
On TRT (including HCG and Enclomiphine) since 9 weeks and my sex drive is extreme; I am going to gym 3-5 times a week and I am heavier now than usual but with less body fat and better looking body. So for me the results are quite quick and kind of extreme. I strongly believe HCG and Enclomophine have more effect on sex drive but not sure. Some mood changes are not good but I am feeling like it is getting better as well.
It's great to hear that you're experiencing positive changes in your body composition and sex drive since starting TRT, HCG, and Enclomiphene. While the exact effects of these medications may vary from person to person, it's possible that HCG and Enclomiphene could be contributing to your increased sex drive.
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that TRT can increase penis size in adult men. However, some men may experience improved erectile function and increased libido on TRT, which can lead to a temporary increase in size during sexual activity. It is important to remember that TRT should only be used to treat medically diagnosed low testosterone levels
Same here, but im on my 3rd week. Is it unusual that I feel im already getting results from this? I mean I’ve always been active/ gym goer and my base levels were not atrocious for a 35 year old. The only issue im having right now is sleep, I’m not sleeping as much as I should or would want to. Beside that I do feel more energized, and im putting on muscle and my lifts have increased as well. The lack of sleep is bothering me tho, if you have any suggestions or you experience this as well and can let me know your experience would be appreciated.

I'm watching your videos cos I'm trying to prepare myself in case I need to take TRT cos as I commented on one of your other videos I've had testicular cancer twice both this year and last year and if I end up needing to have the lone testi removed then I'll to start taking it but I'll be taking the jags rather than the gel and the patches, I won't take the patches cos they sound like a nightmare as it would be like trying to wear a plaster all the time whereas the gel would be like a faff every morning besides it's contagious and if I were to go on Testogel and I were to kiss and hug my future girlfriend or wife without me remembering to put on a jumper or a shirt that would be a disaster as she'd end up getting stubble by accident as I have a bad memory in the short term department due to me having Asperger's syndrome
Joshy Boy thanks for the comments. Patches are rarely used these days. High concentration scrotal cream can be an option when injections are not preferred. The gels are not ideal for most men on TRT.
@@balancemyhormones well I am actually gonna get an orchidectomy after all from a repeated testicular cancer but my surgical Doc says that the gel is the way to start as the jags can have nasty side affects such blood clotting in the legs
I was on TRT for four years and transform my life and overall was very great for me. I took two years off to have kids which was unsuccessful. I am now three weeks in on starting again, but for some reason, I’m still getting no benefits I feel like total shit I can barely work. I feel like my body is shut down. I’m getting headaches nausea but the fatigue is the worse. And my heartbeat is crazy . I know there’s an adjustment period But it’s never been like this! What the fuck is going on? I would say too much estrogen because at first I accidentally took too much test but I’m not getting titties. I’m not crying all the time… I just feel very fatigued and have a headache. What can that be? and how can I get rid of it right away?! PS my libido felt much better right away, I get an erection so easy.
If starting to experience poor sleep and less morning erections with erectile issues, should you consult a urologist idealy or a general practitioner? Thanks for discussing this
Well it depends where you are in the world and how much time you want to waste. You can start with the GP who has a good chance of knowing very little about TRT and who may rob you off or worse send you to an endocrinologist who may be hostile to TRT even though studies now demonstrate TRT causes no more Cardiovascular harm than the placebo in the study. So your best option is visiting a TRT clinic like balancemyhormones.co.uk in the UK or similar clinic in USA. Have a look at our other videos where we interviewed doctors from the USA.
I did two rounds of pellets and from week 1 to week 10 was amazing both times, but after week 10 it was a decline that left me completely crashed. I started injections and it is working but not like the first 10 weeks of pellets. A lot slower and not a flood of amazement. I've up the injectable dose twice to no real change.
It's great to hear that the pellets were working well for you initially! Sometimes our bodies can become accustomed to certain treatments over time. Have you considered discussing alternative options with your healthcare provider?
It varies greatly from person to person. My mood, head fog, and focus was improved and my anxiety had vanished completely by week two. However, there's been zero change in libido at week three.
Not every man experiences an increase in red blood cells wher it becomes an issue. It is true that testosterone will increase it as this is a good thing if you are anemic which men who have low testosterone can be. But if you have other co-morbidities like sleep apnea or undiagnosed sleep apnea then you may be mroe prone to this increase in Blood thickness haematocrit, and a rise in haemoglobin and red blood cell count. Not every man experiences this, in fact only a minority of men experience this where it requires action from we we have seen.

There are a variety of tests and 2 tests are needed to confirm Testosterone deficiency. You can't make a diagnosis on one test and symptoms alone. All the tests should have Total Testosterone, calculated Free, SHBG, Albumin which is used for the calculation. Free T assays tend to be unreliable unless they are done with LC-MS-MS. For a list of all of our tests visit our site: balancemyhormones.co.uk/trt-testing/

Yes, that's a common concern with testosterone replacement therapy. It's important to monitor your hormone levels closely with your healthcare provider.
Taking DIM with testosterone should fix the estrogen issue. If you're on TRT you'd benefit by taking Phosphatidyl Serine, DIM and Stinging Nettle Root as well.
I have a free test of 12.7 nmol/l I’m constantly tired carrying way more body fat than I used to whilst working out and keeping a healthy(ish) diet. Woukd I be considered for trt?
Very likely you would benefit from TRT but we would need to have more than one blood test and a doctor's consultation to assess you. visit balancemyhormones.co.uk to get started.
I have 10-13 nmol/L over past 5 years and have exactly your symptoms. It’s so scary to go on TRT because then your committed to a drug for life…. Tough decision at 41 for me
I had been on this, but didn't like going in every two weeks, so started self injection twice a week which resulted in much more stable T level compared to the high and low from every two weeks Good luck
Hi Med1090, starting on a 200mg dose every two weeks is quite a common protocol for the 1960s to the early 2000s but modern TRT would not have such long periods between injections. It's worth mentioning that this might not be ideal for everyone due to potential hormonal swings. A more frequent injection schedule, say, every 5-7 days, can help maintain steadier testosterone levels, reducing the likelihood of experiencing highs and lows. Everyone's body reacts differently, so please discuss this with your doctor. Regular follow-ups are important to monitor your response and adjust dosage or frequency if necessary. Best of luck with your treatment.
My biggest fear is you have some researchers say it is bad and will enlarge the heart and prostate. Then you have other researchers saying the exact opposite thing happens so just not sure what to believe. I'm 38 and don't have nearly the same energy I used to and have been considering it, but once again not sure who to go to. There are ageless men clinics here in Vegas I hear good things about, but they aren't doctors looking out for your best interest they just want to sell you the product. Don't know a good doctor for this sort of thing that will take my bloodwork and see where I stand.
Navigating conflicting information on TRT can be overwhelming. It's crucial to find a reputable healthcare provider who prioritises your well-being. Seek out doctors with expertise in hormone therapy, and consider getting referrals or reading reviews to ensure you find someone trustworthy. A healthcare professional who considers your overall health and monitors your progress is essential. Take your time finding the right support for your TRT journey
Hello I'm a 26yr old lady 5"8'..my whole life I've been feeling fatigued.mornings,I don't like doing anything till around 4pm.i would just sit in bed watch TikTok.i have 1kid 2yrs which was a really struggle that I had to use chlomid to conceive.prior to my current boyfriend of 4yrs, I had several boyfriends who couldn't get me pregnant.my face is as smooth as a baby's butt. what hormones could be making me so tired at such a young age? Will I need a small dose of Trt to up my energy levels.By the way, I'm usually very dry during sex& i actually hate it most of the time.
I’ve been on Clomid and a thyroid medication for past 30 days and definitely noticed health improvements overall. My test level was 549 but I felt like crap everyday. Ignore the numbers. How do you feel? Are you having these symptoms of low energy, poor sleep depressed, tired, low sex drive, slowed weight loss but fast weight gain, carb cravings, etcetera and that’s just to name a few. If you answered yes to most or all of these trt may be for you but contact your physician about a consult. Be warned that if your doctor makes a determination based off your numbers as compared to your symptoms then you may have to ignore his opinion and deal with a clinic. I have a consult Tuesday about actually going on the trt injections. I’ll be 51 in September and can’t imagine living out the rest of my life feeling as I did a few months ago prior to beginning a trt regimen. I hope this helps and keep me posted on your decision. Good luck.
I have a high platelet count - 435 - normal range higher limit varies from 400 - 450 ... 435 considered to be thrombocytosis by this test. 2nd wk on TRT - is this going to exacerbate problem or help possibly? Thanks for your videos guys.
Blood donations may help and you should seek the help of a haemotologist. TRT can raise Haemoglobin and Haematocrit. Its does not usually have a negative effect on platelets.
300 is a low level and was once considered low by reference ranges. In fact in 1996 levels less than 400/450 were considered low. So TRT will provide you with the testosterone your body needs. Your pituitary will be suppressed. Does it really matter what happens to your natural levels? NO what’s important is your body gets optimised. This is assuming you’ve already worked on your lifestyle to maximise your own testosterone levels with diet, sleep, exercise.

An estrogen level of 14 is within the typical range for men. However, it's essential to evaluate your overall hormonal balance and symptoms in consultation with a healthcare provider who specializes in TRT. They can determine if this level is appropriate for your specific needs and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.

It could be.Because your hairloss might be caused by crashed estradiol.Once trt improves estradiol levels in some cases hair growth might improve.I have had crashed estradiol for years and my skin on my scalp is very dry.Im on trt now.But I also like bald look so hair growth will be just a bonus.

Charles Blough you make a good point and we have addressed this in 2 videos with DR Touliatos. Not everyone sees an hct rise to the point of needing phlebotomy. Some men may have sleep apnea and they tend to see very high levels of hb and hct. Many men will see an increase from baseline in hct and it can be seen around six months and this is documented in the blood test. Thanks for the comment.
Hi Guys, can anyone tell me if it's OK to start weight training? I had my first TRT injection ever last Sunday. I will be taking weekly injections every Sunday. I asked via the online chat on the website but no one ever got back to me. So glad I found BMH!
There is no known contraindications to weight training with testosterone therapy unless you have a medical condition that would preclude you from weight training. But assuming you are healthy enough for TRT then there is no reason to wait. Many patients partake in weight training and have reported noticeable improvements in their progress when compared to pre TRT. Of course if you have a medical condition then check with your GP before engaging in any strenuous physical activity.
@@balancemyhormones Thank you for the quick response. No, I don't have any conditions that would prevent me from starting training. Just thought it better to check first. I'll get on it this week then!
I read that cancer feeds on test…..so does that not up you chances of it being worse if you did happen to get cancer.? I’m 41, very healthy, eat well and lift, as I like to look good and it’s the best way for me to stay happy etc, but my energy and sex drive especially have dropped a lot in the last year or so. I still have all my hair but would HATE if I went bald. You think I should try trt.? Baldness runs in my mum’s side of the fam but I’m the only one who still has a full head of hair. Thanks for these videos guy….
Recent studies have shown low testosterone may be linked with greater risk of more malignant forms of prostate cancer. If you have cancer many things can cause it to grow further even angiogenesis or vessel growth to feed the tumour can assist it. Dr Morgataler has proposed the saturation model for androgens and prostate cancer so additional testosterone will not cause unlimited growth in cancer.
It's not uncommon for the volume of ejaculate to vary from person to person. If you're concerned about a significant decrease, it's best to consult a healthcare professional who can provide proper guidance.
@@balancemyhormones Thanks for your response. I haven't started TRT yet, it's just something I am considering. My question was more whether a large decrease in the volume of ejaculate was something that most men experience when they do TRT?
How you speak has much to do with your accent or the placement of your tongue when making sounds sling with intonation or sing song of speech . Some have reported a deepening of the voice which testosterone can help.
It's great that you've started TRT! The mention of 6 months might relate to the time it takes for individuals to notice full benefits and for the body to stabilize on the treatment. Results can vary, and it's important to be patient while your body adjusts to the hormonal changes. Consistent monitoring with your healthcare provider will guide any necessary adjustments to optimize your TRT experience.
I notice my blood pressure is now out of range in 140/80 instead of under 120/80. Does the increase in bp from trt go up temporarily and then go back down or does it often stay somewhat elevated ?
Hi NorthCountry, it's not uncommon for blood pressure to vary throughout the day and due to different circumstances. It's important to monitor it consistently, especially if you've noticed a change since starting TRT. As for TRT's effects on blood pressure, while some individuals might experience a temporary increase initially, research suggests that appropriate, long-term TRT may have beneficial effects. A study in the Journal of the American Heart Association (2016) found that men with testosterone deficiency and treated appropriately with TRT had reduced risks of cardiovascular events. Testosterone can help with vasodilation (the widening of blood vessels) and promote the production of nitric oxide, both of which can support healthy blood pressure levels. However, everyone's response to TRT can be different, so regular monitoring and open communication with your healthcare provider is essential. Here's the link to the study mentioned: [insert link here] (Note: As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, I can't provide a direct link). Am 8 weeks in feeling good in a lot of areas .. only thing is am fighting with my diastolic blood pressure its always 90 or above any suggestions.. am on 100mg per week split into 2 dosages ...
1 they pharma companies changed the blood pressure cloresteral levels a decade ago or so... they 2X-3X upped their profit immediately. It’s not to be trusted the new levels imo. That said... occasional 24-72 hours fasts make a difference to over all healing and balance.
Cardio will significantly lower blood pressure. There’s been studies done showing walking (I forgot how many miles) can be as effective as blood pressure medication.
I’ve been on for 3 months. Total T is at 706. Was 91 when I started. I’m 36 y/o male. I’ve only noticed the following: -Sex drive -Better erections -Less sore after working out I’ve not noticed any energy levels or mood changing. Still dealing with brain fog. My Endocrinologist said if I haven’t noticed it by now then the testosterone is not causing those other symptoms. Can I still notice improvements past the 3 month mark ?
It's great that you're seeing some positive effects already! It's possible that improvements may continue past the 3-month mark, so stay patient and keep monitoring how you feel.
Everyone talks about the benefits of an improved sex drive which I have also noticed, but after 20 years of marriage my wife has very little interest in sex so this benefit is wasted.
What about semen volume ? Im just about to start trt without hcg Will my orgasms and ejaculations be significantly less . Fertility isn’t a concern , I don’t care about that , just want to enjoy sex
Orgasm should be unaffected. Some men report slightly less volume others no difference. Semen appearance (colour thickness) can vary even with men not on TRT.
Four weeks into TRT I am waking up around 3am having to do a handstand to piss because this thing will break before it bends! When will the water retention calm down?

Well done to you for taking action. So happy that you made a successor the TRT along with your hard work and drive to reach your goal.
What happens if you stop TRT?
Can your body start producing natural testosterone again?
How does it feel to stop TRT?
Thank you!
Good luck! 🍀

That’s great Roy 😂

“Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It’s fantastic to hear that the TRT treatment has made such a positive impact on your health and well-being.
What were your beginning and current T levels?

That’s a good sign. Give it time. Sometimes there may be other hormones that are deficient like thyroid that can cause fatigue or lack of energy.
What is your dosage?
850mg a week is not trt…..,that’s steroids! 100 to 200mg is trt above 200 is steroids. You can do 850 a week for a cycle but not constant.

Well looking too big may be subjective. Adding lean mass or even looking more lean may make your muscles looking bigger. Trying to stay lean may help you not look too big with your clothes on at least. TRT is about improving health and wellness so this should be your biggest priority.
Why is my heart pounding so hard on TRT?
Wow that is scary. It seems like nothing good comes without something bad. As it relates to drugs in particular
Your diet isn’t helping you. Animal fat is essential for human health, eating some chicken muscle meat a few times a month isn’t doing anything. You need to be eating steak, fat, organs.

100mg weekly let’s see how this goes !
Ok let us know if we can help
How’s it going so far?
Yea how is it
I’m 33 at 268 ng/dl. Starting TRT 100mg/week tomorrow!
Remember it's a journy and it can take time for improvements.
@@benjaminghazi787 Yep tired all the damn time. That’s my biggest symptom. Lack of motivation is another big one.
I'm 43 and my levels were at 131. I'm on 200mg a month. Hopefully after my labs in a couple of months the doctor bumps me up.
@@JorJor812 how you doing now?
43, 275 lbs... just injected my second TRT dose and this week all my depression is GONE, i have more mental focus, i have slept better than i have in years, and i just feel stronger at the end of a long stressful day.
Can't believe the last 5-10 years could have been different if my doctor would have diagnosed me correctly and Prescribed TRT.
It's amazing how the right treatment can make such a difference in your life. Glad to hear you're feeling better!
In 2 doses, that’s nonsense. It doesn’t even start working for 3 weeks. 😂
Don't think so not in 2 injections. I think you are deluded. Never seen any medical opinion align with that.
This was quality bruh.
Funny too man. Good stuff.
MURDEROUS MAYHEM thanks for watching and the nice comments.
Any increase in penis size?
It's great to hear that you're experiencing positive changes in your body composition and sex drive since starting TRT, HCG, and Enclomiphene. While the exact effects of these medications may vary from person to person, it's possible that HCG and Enclomiphene could be contributing to your increased sex drive.
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that TRT can increase penis size in adult men. However, some men may experience improved erectile function and increased libido on TRT, which can lead to a temporary increase in size during sexual activity. It is important to remember that TRT should only be used to treat medically diagnosed low testosterone levels
@@balancemyhormonesWhat is HCG and enclomiphene?
Same here, but im on my 3rd week. Is it unusual that I feel im already getting results from this? I mean I’ve always been active/ gym goer and my base levels were not atrocious for a 35 year old. The only issue im having right now is sleep, I’m not sleeping as much as I should or would want to. Beside that I do feel more energized, and im putting on muscle and my lifts have increased as well. The lack of sleep is bothering me tho, if you have any suggestions or you experience this as well and can let me know your experience would be appreciated.
Had my results back from my GP 340/12.4 apparent border line low but in range for me as a 52 year old. Wish my symptoms would tell me that.
12.4 is suboptimal and regardless of age if you have symptoms then that’s potentially treatable. What’s your shbg? Free testosterone? Contact balancemyhormones.co.uk

Did you get the Covid jabs?
Could you recommend a good brand of L Citrulline or L arginine please?
Im sorry can’t really suggest any. It’s always hopeful that you get what you order with some supplements.

What about to meny red bĺood cells ?
Not every man experiences an increase in red blood cells wher it becomes an issue. It is true that testosterone will increase it as this is a good thing if you are anemic which men who have low testosterone can be. But if you have other co-morbidities like sleep apnea or undiagnosed sleep apnea then you may be mroe prone to this increase in Blood thickness haematocrit, and a rise in haemoglobin and red blood cell count. Not every man experiences this, in fact only a minority of men experience this where it requires action from we we have seen.

Free t?
There are a variety of tests and 2 tests are needed to confirm Testosterone deficiency. You can't make a diagnosis on one test and symptoms alone. All the tests should have Total Testosterone, calculated Free, SHBG, Albumin which is used for the calculation. Free T assays tend to be unreliable unless they are done with LC-MS-MS. I have 10-13 nmol/L over past 5 years and have exactly your symptoms. It’s so scary to go on TRT because then your committed to a drug for life…. Tough decision at 41 for me
I'm nervous. My doc has me starting 200mg Testosterone Cypionate every 2 weeks. My levels were 118.
I had been on this, but didn't like going in every two weeks, so started self injection twice a week which resulted in much more stable T level compared to the high and low from every two weeks
Good luck

Blood donations may help and you should seek the help of a haemotologist. TRT can raise Haemoglobin and Haematocrit. Its does not usually have a negative effect on platelets.
If my normal test levels say are 300 wont trt supress my natural levels even more with the feed back loop

No cancer does not feed on testosterone.
If this were the case when our testosterone is at its peak in our early twenties we would have lots of bald young people with cancers.
How about a massive lowering of the volume of ejaculate (seminal fluid)? Does that always/usually happen? What can be done about this?

It's not uncommon for the volume of ejaculate to vary from person to person. If you're concerned about a significant decrease, it's best to consult a healthcare professional who can provide proper guidance.
@@balancemyhormones Thanks for your response. I haven't started TRT yet, it's just something I am considering. My question was more whether a large decrease in the volume of ejaculate was something that most men experience when they do TRT?

How you speak has much to do with your accent or the placement of your tongue when making sounds sling with intonation or sing song of speech . Some have reported a deepening of the voice which testosterone can help.
why 6 months why starting testosterone why does it take so long. I just started TRT
It doesn't in all cases. The time the changes occur vary widely from person to person. My mental clarity showed improvement by week one.
Always consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
