yeah, what an absurd video title. TRT has improved my health in so many ways and these types of sensationalist videos are the reason people look at it like its a dangerous steroid
Im 47 and that is gonna be my next move - my sleep is terrible, losing muscle / strength and overall not feeling great - got my bloodwork done and its pretty damn low
I’m 10yrs into TRT. Best decision ever. My doctor is old school and avoided TRT for a long time. He recently told me that since he started prescribing TRT to his patients they all started to not need ED meds, anxiety meds, anti depressants, sleep aids, and they have better biomarkers and the net net result is he prescribes less drugs overall. And he told me he has had men+women shed tears to him saying TRT saved their marriage and changed their life. TRT is about quality of life. But you must monitor your bloodwork forever…which ultimately is beneficial to your health because you are paying attention and your dr catches them immediately.
You will pay the piper for your hormone use eventually. Those of us who managed all the things you mentioned by sleeping well, exercising well, and eating well will pay no such piper.
@@luxuryseaviewvillas6744 bring on the piper. I have a condition where my body produces little test. It’s provably healthier for me to be on it. And I’ve worked out, eaten only healthy foods and slept well for 20yrs. I’ve been at 10% BF forever. I’m a stud. Dont lecture me on health son Do some research on the Traverse Study instead of echoing rule of thumb
I think we should be more concerned and questioning more why so many young men have low T to begin with. The fact that its not receiving more attention is borderline criminal. I have no doubt that certain industries with deep pockets and lots of lobbyists are to blame.
Plastic containers likely play a big role. Im 42 when I was a kid any soda from the gas station came in a glass bottle. Things transitioned to plastic since its cheaper. We are seeing the effects now
Plastics, BPA, most canned food, frozen food, and processed food products are laced with soy, obesity, dryer sheets also contain xenoestrogens which absorb into your skin. Don’t look into this too hard or you’ll realize you’re being blanketed by poisons constantly.
Reducing the masculinity of Western men is obviously an intentional agenda . Only Western countries embraced toxic masculinity lgbtqia Plus feminism Etc
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 *💉 Increasing TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) usage among young men raises concerns due to lack of awareness about risks, especially when obtained illegally.* 01:59 *❤️ TRT administered correctly doesn't significantly increase the risk of prostate cancer or cardiovascular disease.* 05:40 *⚠️ Super physiological doses of TRT can lead to unknown long-term health risks, including potential impact on prostate health and cardiovascular system.* 08:26 *🚼 Exogenous testosterone can reduce fertility, especially in young men, potentially leading to lifelong dependency and difficulty conceiving later in life.* 10:49 *🚫 Long-term use of Clomid or similar drugs for increasing testosterone levels is not advisable due to potential health risks, including increased levels of a steroid called desol.* Made with HARPA AI
Although TRT can be beneficial if used appropriately in the guidance of a adequately trained position, I feel that many many young people significantly underestimates affects of using testosterone and TRT in appropriately. I think they also grossly under estimate the impact that TRT use as a young male will have on the remainder of their life. These effects don’t mean much when you think you’re invincible. However, when you are older, and you realize that you are not, then these past actions have a tendency to become a larger problem later on.
I’m 60 and started TRT a year ago and the quality of my life has improved dramatically. Energy, cognition, lean muscle mass, sleep, digestion etc all excellent.
I’ve been on TRT for close to 20yrs. Haven’t really seen any bad side effects. Life is a lot better on it. The Traverse trials that came out recently disproved a lot of the TRT negative myths out there.
These days "negative myths" have been replaced with "dO it Brooo I sAw iT on RogAn broooo". Both guys I knew here on Thailand on TRT (Both American in their 60s) had strokes from elevated RBC and thick blood
Started TRT this year at age 51 due to low testosterone. I was shooting loads but no orgasm, it was depressing but now I feel it again and my dwindling muscles are strengthening! Thank you doctor!
I'll say this..... I've been diagnosed with major depression with anxiety disorder from my teen years. 51 now. 6 months ago I had my T levels checked and it was 200. 6 months later @ 0.5ml weekly (1069 now)and I've NEVER felt like "life is worth living" before! Mentally and physically now?? I love life. Even the crappy things that can happen I like too. I possibly have 20 years left to enjoy and I be damn if I'm going to let anything or anyone stand in my way
46 years old. Started trt a year ago and its been a game changer for me. Feel so much better, better workouts, better sleep, etc. No drawbacks whatsoever
Started at 34 after having a surgery which made me need it. I’m 40 now, and the best advice I could give anyone is do this only under supervision of a well trained doctor. I look and feel amazing. My attitude and mindset are better than ever at 40. I love it.
I’ve been in it 8 years, I tested low both tests before I jumped on. Never thought about weight lifting before but as soon as I got on it I started lifting weights and never stopped
Keto, OMAD, 100 mg test per week divided between 3 micro doses (33 Monday, 33 Wednesda, 33 Friday), weights four days a week, fasted cardio 3 days a week. Supplements....magnesium, B multi, C, turmeric, creatine, Omega 3 and D and K2. Give blood every 60 days because donating blood has so many benefits that are never talked about. Praying in the morning and evening. Meditation and hydration. Amen.
TRT changed my life. I was overweight, depressed, and tired all the time. TRT helped me lose weight, balanced my mood, and put 15 pounds of muscle on me.
I went on TRT at 46 after a hip replacement when the weight loss became unmanageable. I have MCTD so my joints are trashed. I exercise daily and stay around 10% body fat - but after 3 tests in 2 months my T was 124. Terrible- TRT has made a huge difference
@@xmrmet"TRT, or testosterone replacement therapy, differs from anabolic steroids in the amount of testosterone used. TRT aims at treating the symptoms of low testosterone, whereas anabolic steroids contain testosterone in much higher doses to achieve bodybuilding effects quickly and easily."
the main reason your testosterone was so low is because of the starvation of micro nutritients like minerals vitamins that is needed to keep a functioning hormone level.. you didnt need trt.
Started at 43, doctors wanted to give me Prozac and Xanax and Adderall and instead I got a blood test and was 280. Started TRT and it saved my life, now I encourage everyone to get their hormones tested.
@@JohnLoogleman correct but with high SHBG and having been testing low since my early 30s, it was having serious effects on my health which all have improved in the last three years on TRT at high normal levels.
I'm 34 going on 35, and I'm thinking about starting trt. I've just been feeling like shit no drive, energy, a lot of muscle lost. Can any of you share your experience on Trt? It'll be gladly appreciated.
Chris - one of your first cinematic episodes with Huberman is what got me to stop and pay attention to your channel. I couldn't wrap my head around the production value and it forced me to pay attention when I might otherwise have bounced off your content pretty easily. The current series is another level entirely. Even as a long-time fan, I've been caught off guard at how the settings of these episodes are impacting my experience. Amazing service to the viewer.
I started on TRT 17 years ago, changed my life. I have the same muscle composition I did in my 30's. Labs done twice a year prostate PSA .5 -1.0. The quality of life is so much better all around,57 years young.
@@Dabby724 I was injecting twice a week, but found once a week is much more convenient. My TRT doctor states it doesn't matter whatever works best for your body.
@@johnnyoost1144 200mg/wk is fine and within the normal prescribed range, its only 250+ that you are starting to get into bodybuilding cruise dosages, 350+ for cycles. 200mg/wk should put a man somewhere in the 700-1k total test range depending on weight, age, etc.
twice a week. Less side effects. 50 mgs a shot. When you do lower dose twice a week it mimics the bodies natural release more. If you take to much at once it peaks to high and gets converted to estrogen. As long as your bloodwork is in range it's very healthy for you
I started TRT about a year ago at 27, my numbers were 270, 341, and 260… this was not being obese (was slightly overweight) and hitting the gym hard trying to do everything right. I am not interested in passing on my genes, and was depressed, fatigued, etc. I’m still trying to get the dose right, but I feel WAY better. Of course I know this is a life long commitment now, but fuck if - my life has improved
Hormone replacement and peptides have improved my life 💯 percent. Ive had knee surgery on each knee. I started using hormones and has helped relieve pain a lot. I rather live comfortably into my 60s than live to my 80s in pain and afraid to live life. It is worth it. Dont be afraid if you have joint pain, if you do , you know what i mean about living a "normal" life
When I was young and in my prime, I used to do it all the time, but now that I am old and gray, I only do it twice a day! With TRT and Tadalafil, along with good diet and exercise.
I was 31 and had to go on TRT due to my pitutary no longer sending enough LH/FSH signals to naturally create testosterone. I tried diet, clomid (gave me Migraines), went on HCG ( preserve fertility) and a small dosage of Testosterone and it worked wonders. Had a few side effects at the start but after 4months everything balanced out. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
@sidmehere2964 my red blood cells spiked, as did my estrogen To keep the blood in check, I donate Full Blood every 3 months and take Estrogen blockers. Other than that, everything else has been positive
Are you going to a specialist for your TRT? Only reason I ask is mine recommended to stop estrogen blockers due to harm they can cause. Lowered dose to where I don’t need them and not much of a difference 600-900 for me. But if those blockers ever tank your estrogen you’re in for a rough ride to recovery because it takes quite awhile for your body to regulate things again.
I started TRT at 44. I am a Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu practitioner. I felt my energy levels and strength drop a lot. Found out my testosterone levels were at just above 200. TRT changed my life bigtime. I also take ipamorelin and cjc 1295. Life changing.
@@craigcrawford6749 I eat about 6 eggs a day. I eat steak daily along with grassfed Greek yogurt raw kefir and a little fruit. My T is 1100 and I also lift very heavy about 4 days a week along with lots of cardio training with Muay Thai.
I started TRT at 50. It has changed my life as well. My body would not recover after working a hard day of physical work plus trying to work out at night. My joints were terrible too had problems getting out of bed in the morning without pain. Been on it for a year and it’s life changing. Mood, focus, strength and energy all are amazing. I literally am in better shape than I was when I was 25 now. It is a game changer.
Started testosterone at 35 went 10 years high doses. Im now 46 one year and six months off. And everything is working just fine. Took about 8 months to get fsh and lh going. But all good now. I was told for years that it wouldn't be possible the internet will internet.

Started TRT in my early thirties due to hypogonadism from hemachromatosis. My wife and I had trouble conceiving so I went off TRT and started Clomid under physician guidance. We've had three successful pregnancies with that approach. She's pregnant with our 5th and I'm back on the permanent TRT track.
I have feeling like crap for years and getting worse. I finally had my Testosterone tested. I’m 42, 185lbs. In good shape. My T level was at 85. Well no wonder I feel like hell.
When I was 42 mine was 132 and I felt the same. After 18 months of treatment it's 1300. I felt better immediately after teh first 2 sessions so this whole run has been a real embracement and love of life. It's like being a labrador, every day is amazing and fun.
In 2015 i was rehabbing a double tibia pleateau fracture with 10 screws an 2 plates. I tell kid @ gym , " I'm doing 5 mg for maintenance of Avavar every other day ." Kid laughs , " 5 mg ... I'm using 1 gram a Week of Testosterone, does that even do anything !" .. yes it did and he was using about 66 times more than me and i was 44 he was 23 ... Mess with hormones when you are young and you won't be able to benefit as much when your older ... Be good to yourselves ❤
I broke my neck in an accident in 2009 and was on pain killers and other drugs for years and years, and those drugs dropped my T levels to 126mg/l. I could barely function in daily life, I had panic attacks and numerous health problems . My Dr started me on the gel and it did nothing so I switched to injections and it was like a miracle . The fog lifted, feel great, no panic attacks, libido raging, cholesterol and blood work is great and Im almost 56 , so children arent an issue. I will never stop TRT .
My doctor gave me the choice of gel or injections, so I chose the gel. Even though it has a poor absorption reputation, I need to test it for myself, before I go to the extreme. Unfortunately, they don't offer the cream, as hospital like to push the gel. BTW, those panic attacks can be brutal.
The testing doctors do to determine testosterone levels is dubious. They tend to test a person one time . Testosterone levels fluctuate through out the day. Doctors don't take an average--just one test. The industry is not surprisingly booming.
If you get your test levels checked in a real medical setting and not a trt clinic you will always have them checked in the morning which is when your levels are the highest.
It truly doesn’t matter what time of day it’s checked, what matters is it being checked at least twice and the time of the day being consistent each time. There are studies out there showing there is no benefit to early in the day testosterone level tests. Not gonna bother searching for it I’ve already read em, google is your friend.
Why should people get their testosterone checked in the early morning when levels are the highest? Are people supposed to be okay with clinically low testosterone throughout the day just because it was not clinically low in the morning when levels are higher?
I'm 35 and have been on TRT for 3 years. Got my gf pregnant on accident. She was off the anticonception pill for only 5 days in this time and we only had sex once during this time. I have read all the statistics and froze my sperm to make sure I could have kids in the future. I'm not saying you could always have kids while being in TRT, but at least in my case it seems very possible. Still froze my sperm when starting TRT just to be sure.
@@ingmar89 Having difficulty without it so not ready to jump just yet. Also don't have the spare cash to freeze the sperm. Plus, she needs to get pregnant now or never really (she's 35).
@@Cheximus then take your time with jumping on TRT. Also just wanted to say for me personally it's a pain in the ass managing my TRT. I travel alot so sometimes I miss shots or do them a tad too early or too late which makes my HR go up or makes it more difficult to sleep. Also the pinning gets old after a while. It's no magic pill, but it did help me be a more calm and stable person. Also the slight increase in wanting to work out, my beard finally coming through and the shape of my body and even my head becoming more manly helped in me feeling better. Every change on itself is small, but it does add up. Though in retrospect I might have been able to achieve the same mindset without TRT. my test was 230ng/dl Take it easy brother, all the best.
I’m 37. 2 years ago my total test levels went down to 400 then down to 300 and my free was hovering around 60. I’ve been on only 80mg a week and my total is 832 and free is 194. I clearly needed it. We kept testing my levels every 2 months for a year and my t levels never came back up naturally.
I started last week , M 41 . Already feeling better, 2 weeks didn’t missed a training day , already noticed my belly fat going down , and looking much better, strength going up like I would not never expect.

@@natepowell69 You're trying hard to convince yourself that your "shortcut" isn't going to mess with you eventually. Good luck with that, I'll say your eulogy for you 30 years before I go. I work hard, so i don't need slacker shortcuts.
Just want to say that I 100 percent agree with what Dr. Attia says at 10 minutes in the video. I was on clomiphene for several months. it brought my testosterone up to about 800 which was impressive, but it lowered my libido and my mood seemed to always be down. I went off it and feel much better.
Emphasis on “YOUNG men using TRT…” old men it makes a huge difference for and can change their lives. If you’re under 30 shouldn’t even be a thought. If you’re over 30 and struggling, see your doctor, do several tests to get a good idea of what your avg test is and get recommendation from your doc from there. At 43 being in TRT makes me feel normal.
I don't think it should be done on age but labs and symptoms. I feel sorry for young guys under 25 yo with low testosterone. You can't not treat a guy like this because he is under 30yo. His general health and mental health would be terrible. Proper trt could improve his health and possibly prevent or get them off antidepressants and other medications that are just treating symptoms. Young men need to be explained that being on trt reduces his chances of becoming a father but there are other treatments he could take along with trt like hcg or freezing sperm. It's quite possible with low natural testosterone, that fathering children is probably going to be an issue with low testosterone anyway???
@@Cas_anova sure. But be educated of the consequences of your actions. If you want smoke, smoke. Don’t whine about lung cancer later. Wanna drink everyday? Have at it. Don’t b*tch your liver is in shambles before youre 50. And if you want to use test at 21, that’s fine. Know you’re sperm and natural test will take a dive and eff up your endocrine system for life and may never be normal again. And moreover just cause you want to do whatever with your body at whatever age doesn’t mean I need to help enable you or agree with your decision.
Been lifting weights since I was 15... At 51, noticed my friends that were on TRT were getting jacked. I thought I didn't need it, but decided to get my blood work done. Came back at 274, which was a mental kick in the nuts. 9 months on TRT at recommended dosage, now over 1000. Huge gains in strength, size, energy, mood. I will be on this the rest of life. Only downer is that your balls do in fact shrink. At 51 with 2 grown kids, don't much care about shrunken nuts.
If you’re past 25 y.o. and your free T is low for your age group, “set your house in order first.” Nightly 7.5 hr sleep, healthy diet, stress-free lifestyle, avoidance of alcohol & estrogenic chemicals, proper supplementation, early morning sun exposure, daily exercise with progressive strength-training, talking to attractive women & proper recovery are in order. Diagnose via low T symptoms-not laboratory values. An individual’s abundance of T receptors can produce false negatives. Free T levels can vary wildly during the entire day.
As a 26 year old it is so damn annoying no doctor will take my free test consistently at the very low end of the range seriously because my total is 500-700. I have all the symptoms of low t and I’ve even self medicated with ugl trt and it alleviated all my symptoms smh.
@@RhetoricalMuse ye thats also higher than the reference range, but also 99 percent of tests for free t are very inaccurate and the accurate ones are too new and there is not enough reference data of patients on TRT with them
Shouldn’t we be concerned about the growing need for TRT? What’s causing the dip in testosterone? What’s happening to our environment, our food and our lifestyles? It’s not abnormal for people in tradition cultures to maintain muscle mass well into old age. Does TRT allow us to ignore that we are being damaged? And if we’re not looking at the causes does it let those responsible for the damage off the hook?
I believe it’s our diet and lifestyle mostly. Most beef is grain fed, chickens eating feed instead of bugs and other more natural sources, etc. More time spent sitting or in leisure. Our body is a machine that meets the demands placed upon it. If we just sit on our phones or watching tv we don’t need very athletic peak functioning bodies. That’s my take at least. Obviously there are probably many more factors I failed to mention such as environmental toxins, etc.
It's been proven that pesticides used on our food supply wreak havoc on our endocrine systems, as well as the chemicals used in many plastics, especially those used in food storage and the like.
I just stopped TRT. Im 55 and it had too many negative side effects and potential risks. But if you like blood clots, high blood pressure, hypertension, an out of control sex drive. Go for it.
@ChannelEleven59 Mine actually said it would improve my BP, not increase it. I don't want to get into conspiracy theories here, but I did get the novavax, and I noticed my BP went up after that. Like waaaay up, but it also went way down after I came off TRT. The verdict is up in the air. Was it TRT, Vax, or a combo effect?? 🤔
@@John-sx1sb Increased BP is a known, documented possible side effect when doing TRT. So I dont think there is any conspiracy theory involved in this. I think that as with most treatments or medicines it depends on the individual. But yes it could have been your vax. Im very leery of any covid vaccines when it comes to side effects and overall safety and effectiveness.
Been on TRT for over 30 years. If I knew back then what I know about the body now, I may have never needed it. But at 61, I am light 1:54 years better than 95% of my peers. No regrets.
41 yo. Discussing TRT with my doc in a couple days. Been super tired for months, no sex drive, crappy sleep, workout recovery takes a long time, thinning hair among other stuff. Hoping trt is the right move for me.
I’m 62, started TRT 2 months ago and also started straight carnivore diet, I weighed 194 lbs and now at 172, with little to no muscle loss. I am disabled so I can’t work out, I have a spinal cord injury and lots of pain but I look much better and hopefully feeling better someday soon
As a 48 year old medically retired veteran, trt would help so many of my brothers coming home!!! My joints have never felt better, I am looking and feeling like I am in my 20’s again. (Other than my gray beard) it will not fix gray hair! Also bodybuilders are on grams of gear like close to 5g. I am ramping mine up from 160 mg a week, the mail my total t is in the 1200 to 1500 range. Just waiting on my bloodwork to come back to see what we are ramping up to this next 4 to 6 weeks
You are fortunate. I’m a 65 year army infantry combat veteran, and the VA won’t give me anything. They say my testosterone level is fine. Sigh. It’s frustrating living in a country that doesn’t allow adults to better their quality of life.
@@hypekillacsplaya It’s been a while. I need to go back for a checkup. I didn’t check. They just told me my level was high for my age. I’ll pay more attention this time.
Forget the VA, they wouldn't help me either. Your primary doctor is only going to say your levels are normal for your age. Try TRTnation or another online TRT doctor. You'll have to pay out of pocket but $100 a month is so worth it.
This is one of the most irritating things surrounding this conversation right now: people lumping legitimate TRT with 'TRT like the boys on instagram run'. It completely muddies the waters when it comes to people looking for legitimate help with their hormones. As soon as you start talking about taking the dose too high for reasons beyond optimizing mental and physical health, you're not talking about TRT anymore, you're talking about running a long term cruise dose of PEDs. They're completely different conversations. If you feel like crap and your bloodwork confirms that you're low, i can't recommend it enough. It's been lifechanging for me. If you feel fine but you're looking for a performance edge without the stigma or danger of just jumping on cycle, i promise you will be sorely disappointed. Nobody is getting jacked out of their mind by taking their test from 800 to 1100. You literally won't even notice a difference.
Yep good take. I was between 190-300 and felt like garbage daily for about 3 years prior. TRT made me feel like I wasn't an old man. I was 38 at the time. 6 years later I feel great daily. And switched from low doses every 4 days to once every 7-10 days, least effective dose is best.
Thank you! I tested low, and after taking it for over a month, it’s been nothing but positive changes. Like you said it isn’t “TRT” if you’re taking massive doses - it’s just TR lol. Totally agree with everything you said. Taking medical doses is completely safe and the 4 guys I know who do take medical doses have nothing but positive things to say.
I work with a dude in his early 30s on 'trt' and he told me his levels float around 1300 ng/dl... thats the type of shit that has been normalized by instagram and fitness culture. For every middle aged dude that feels like shit and gets on trt just to get his levels back to normal, theres 3 dudes in their 20s hopping on to make their physique look better. TRT is like the new baseline 'natty' for the gymbros.
What exactly makes them entirely different conversation? And how good do you need to feel before taking more test is unjustified? And who decides? If I feel OK at 100mg of test / week is it OK to go to 125 if it makes me feel great? Or 150 if I feel amazing? And again, who decides what's ok and not? I think altering your hormones to feel better is a single conversation, regardless of dose.
Many just jump to TRT replacement. cut out bad habits first. start eating right, exercising, sleep, get off social medial and avoid crap food before taking chemicals.
The clinics that prescribe it put a hefty bounty on referrals. The biggest pusher of TRT I ever met kept bugging me to go to his clinic and get tested. I refused because I didn't see the reason. He's locked up now for shaking a baby.
I think that’s kind of a chicken and egg statement. Logically it sounds good, but personally speaking, it wasn’t happening. My energy level, mental clarity, mental health were all way too impacted before taking it that I’d have never hit a point of being “ready” to take it. Doing any gym work was not going to happen. Eating right was not going to happen. 13 weeks in. My weight is only down by 8 pounds, but my body composition has greatly changed (4 belt sizes down). Mental clarity is high, energy level is high, working out on a RP Hypertrophy 3x/week whole body is giving me great “newbie” gains. Really, if someone has the mental clarity, energy level, and ability to get off of the bad habits without taking TRT, they probably should take a close look on if they really need it to begin with.
I’v been on TRT now for 8 years. No crazy dosing. T levels 800 to 1100. I love it! There are going to be risks of not taking it too, if you truly needed it in the first place. Mine is under the “care” of a nurse practitioner. I do advocate for men over 40 to have their levels checked and symptoms discussed. TRT, along with good nutrition, sleep and exercise can lead to optimal health as we age. I’m 52 and I look and feel great, and a very good quality of life!
At 55, I started TRT this past April. Two words: GAME. CHANGER. Had my labs done in May, and all is good. I can’t say enough. If done properly, labs are checked, and diet is on point, you will definitely see the results in a good way.
Decreased testosterone with age is something that is natural and way God intended. We should start focusing on other things as we age, not sexual drive, and trying to turn back the clock. Taking testosterone will result in testes not producing it anymore and can result in increased prostate size and other side effects that might show up a lot later. Once you start, you might not be able to ever get off it, which creates dependency on it. This happened to me and even though I've have low testosterone my whole life, I prefer to not take any as I did in the past, since my energy level is fine and I can still do whatever I want. Sex drive is lower, but that's ok, since it's part of aging. I feel TRT is over prescribed and might not be the best thing for everyone to take, even at younger ages.
Mine was 260 at 35. The doctor told me that’s just above normal for my age. My one chesticle was lactading lol. Years later I found out about Panday Group. I got my prescription and my body feels way better for it. 🇨🇦
Started at 51. Nothing but good. Close friend was suffering from all the symptoms of depression. He started TRT and all of his symptoms vanished. Completely changed his life. Both of us are eating clean and exercising regularly to maximize the benefits. I’m 60 now and at 11% body fat. IMO all men who are suffering symptoms of depression should have their T checked. My bet is many are mistakenly put on SSRI’s when in fact the problem is low T/higher than normal estrogen.
Oh my goodness I noticed my serotonin and dopamine levels improve IMMEDIATELY after starting T. I suffered for years from anxiety & panic attacks and now they're gone
Started TRT at 31 had a level of 6nmol and felt like shit permanently, worked out 6 days a week and ate clean but no change. TRT has now upped my levels to 29nmol and i feel like a new man. Want to preface that my symptoms only started once i had Covid and suffered for years before getting my bloodwork done.
TRT wrecked my cholesterol and my kidneys after 11 months. BP 140/90 so I had to stop. Been off for 5 months and feeling great. Somehow my natural testosterone rebounded to the low 500 (before TRT I was at 320)
I’m 43. Noticed a deep dive in sexual drive and energy. Had blood test done and showed my testosterone level was 212. I started TRT about 6 months ago and it has literally changed my life.
TRT is perfectly safe if it is used as a daily topical cream/solution to match Diurnal rhythm. Problem is the pushing of dosages. The biggest risk is ego's and insecurities making folks put more in.
I never used testosterone, or any other supplement, until I was 53. My T level was 535 even at 53 years old, but I was tired, didn't sleep well, wasn't seeing any gains in the gym and had difficulty losing belly fat. I started at 100 mg twice a week. Level jumped to over 1500. Dropped it to 60 mg twice a week. Level was still in the 1300's. I am now using 40 mg twice a week. Trying to keep my levels around 800-1000.
I’m 66. Workout every day after waking up 7 on 7. for an hour an hour and a half. I still manage to do 3 sets of pull-ups with a dumbbell between my feet 16-20 (correct executed) broad grip and one set shoulder grip 18-20 before I start shoulder training with plates. In the late afternoon I do 3 series of pushups 35-40 and abs or neck training. I practice IF for more than two decades (16/8). Don’t drink (not a drop), don’t smoke, don’t do drugs, no medication, no added sugars, no processed foods. I’ve never touched ‘gear’. My testosterone is still a payoff, not a pre workout substance. And when I’m on holiday a lot of the guests around the swimming pool hate my guts :)
It called Testosterone REPLACEMENT Therapy so it not dangerous if it injecting the dose that was lost with the right procedure from a licensed professional
Absolutely loving the comments on here. Keep it up men. Tell your story. As a 42yr male whos tried sleep supplements, vitamin D/Zinc/Magnesium/multi vitamin supps ect for over a year. Only to find their effects were useless for healthy test increases. When my test was low naturally, i was lathagic, always tired, always sore, strength was terrible, mood swings, erection problems, weight gain, battling depression and suicidal thoughts at least twice a year...... Then i started TRT... and i got my life back. Become motivated in life, interacted with my kids more, got more done around the house, strength gains, cleaner moods and havent had a bout of depression since. Best thing i did.. my test was at 3 - 8 nmol/L. Ironically i got the highest result when i didnt have any regular supps (vit D/zinc ect) in my system.

TRT is life changing. Anybody that tells you otherwise does not want the best for you. Why should men suffer from depression, anxiety, fatigue, inflammation, brain fog & lesser quality of life due to aging/hormonal changes? There is a solution! Optimize your test men and you will enjoy life at a MUCH HIGHER quality level.
What a shocker, people manipulating their hormones see immediate benefits. No one seems to think about the fact that they’re still gonna need hormone replacement in 20 years. Your body shouldn’t be falling in your 30’s, 40’s or 50’s.
I'm 65 and on trt. Prior to age 63 my testosterone was good but had been declining. In my earlier years my libido and testosterone was great. Any young guys going on exogenous testosterone are definitely damaging themselves. Parts of their dofies are literally shut off and imo that will effect other parts of their health. Exercise and diet should be all you need when younger.
I’m 55. T was just under 300. Did EVERYTHING to raise it without TRT for 6 months straight. Got it to increase 30 points with zero help with symptoms. Now on TRT maintaining at a safe normal 600. All symptoms significantly fixed. I previously (thought I) had ADHD. Easily was able to come off those meds. I’d guess a high % of men on ADHD meds don’t have ADHD, they have low T. Symptoms of ADD are also symptoms of low-T. I previously needed ADHD meds to function at work. With my T level back to normal, I have no need to take the ADHD meds whatsoever.

My hematocrit launched on TRT consequently raising my BP to stroke level. I've had to severely restrict the T dosage and donate blood every 3-4 months to control the hematocrit even at lose dosage.
What dosage schedule were you using? I think more frequent injections can help. People do react differently though. Personally my blood pressure went down, and was at its lowest when my dosage was at its highest, which was weird.
@JohnSmith-yx8kf my buddy the same. He took his once a week injection and divided it out over a week and injects daily with a diabetic syringe. Dropped hemocrit and is cruising healthy now.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:

01:59 *❤️ TRT administered correctly doesn't significantly increase the risk of prostate cancer or cardiovascular disease.*
05:40 *⚠️ Super physiological doses of TRT can lead to unknown long-term health risks, including potential impact on prostate health and cardiovascular system.*
08:26 *🚼 Exogenous testosterone can reduce fertility, especially in young men, potentially leading to lifelong dependency and difficulty conceiving later in life.*
10:49 *🚫 Long-term use of Clomid or similar drugs for increasing testosterone levels is not advisable due to potential health risks, including increased levels of a steroid called desol.*
Made with HARPA AI
Although TRT can be beneficial if used appropriately in the guidance of a adequately trained position, I feel that many many young people significantly underestimates affects of using testosterone and TRT in appropriately. I think they also grossly under estimate the impact that TRT use as a young male will have on the remainder of their life. These effects don’t mean much when you think you’re invincible. However, when you are older, and you realize that you are not, then these past actions have a tendency to become a larger problem later on.

If you get your test levels checked in a real medical setting and not a trt clinic you will always have them checked in the morning which is when your levels are the highest.
Yep. Saliva testing is preferable but rarely offered, and you definitely get different results depending on the time of day.
TRT saved my life period
my increasing depression that came with strong suicidal feelings dissipated after several months of starting TRT 7 years ago

@@taylorhillard48681000 is not that high. People doing cycles are getting their T much higher than that.
TRT changed my life for the better!
Doesn't sound like you're married or in a relationship.
