I really wish more people had pride in their work as much as you do. You do a job properly. I booked somoene to pressure wash my drive and the mess left was horrible, he blocked my drains putting all the dirt down it. Great job.

@The1Music2MyEars not an expert, but I'm guessing the drains were for natural rain water/regular water runoff type (correct me if I'm wrong) and smaller debris. It sounds like this guy tried to use these drains for a lot of heavy duty build up that should have been directed toward another more natural run-off drain (if available) or picked up in a bucket and disposed of if it were big enough to block a drain.

Those decking boards are meant to be laid smooth side up and the grooves underneath are for the water to drip off. Grooves on top allow moisture to stay in and algie to grow.
Virtually everyone puts the boards down wrong, people seem to think grooves up so you don't slip. Even DIY shows do it wrong.
Whilst Youre right, there are alot of boards now that come with grooves on both sides, kind of defeats the point but there we go
Do you know why they have the ridges at all? Your comment rings true to me. But now I'm curious to why there are ridges in it at all?

@@ShanaLawson Ah, just googled it. 😅 and it's something like that. It's so there is air between the boards and the flooring. So moisture can escape and mould won't grow there as quick.

Forget super heroes, you're doing it every day. All the lock-downs must have been horrible for you. I find the extensive brick and/or tiling done around houses in the UK so fascinating. I don't usually see anything like this in the States. Great work!
Couple of other things I've noticed from watching his video's is that 1 they tend to have drains right up next to the house, while in the US we tend to grade the property away from the house, and 2 they have stone roof shingles while in the US we tend to use asphalt and metal shingles are starting to become popular now too

It always amazes me that the owners never seem to clear
the decking/patio areas .
I'm more shocked that most areas have no incline and no drainage, so water collects everywhere. Not the best idea in the UK.

They should really get those bricks redone, they are way too uneven and they slope downward which could mean foundation damage. Either way the uneven surface allows for water to pool and little drainage, which is unfortunate because the bricks themselves look amazing after being cleaned

bricks are easily the most satisfying surface to see cleaned because they've got such a pleasing texture and it's a joy to know each little divot and ridge is getting the bejeezus washed out of 'em

Your practices are good for the homeowner, neighbors (and potential customers) and environment. Limiting the chemical use and sweeping the scunge into a bucket keeps the chemicals and organic material from going into rivers. Thank you❣
I started watching this channel and it made me want to clean my own filthy patio, so I ordered a Karcher K3 and the patio has never looked so good. Although the paving slabs are so worn and have black marks that's maybe dirt or algae that I couldn't get out.
Literally removed buckets of mud from the patio as my Dad likes to put all his potted plants on the patio and always makes a mess.

I feel better about the technique i used after watching you do this. Problem i mostly had was getting the dirty water off of what i washed. The water pooled in some areas on the side of the driveway and walkways where the ground was saturated, and i had to backtrack a few times.
I love watching these types of videos , I look at them from UK and USA , well none of them can do it like Sid. The others do not finish the job well at all . I cringe watching them. You are so particular in every job it’s a pleasure to watch you. Keep up the good work. Keep doing your videos.
