To compare the wilaya of a real Imam of Allah (s.w.t.) with a leadership of a normal man with sins, is a big misbelieve. Hz.Imam Mahdi (a.s.) doesn’t need a false wilaya of leaders who are not elected by him and Alah(s.w.t). This wilaya have no proof in the aqida of ahl ul bait (a.s.). And real scholors(ayatollahs) say this. That this wilaya is not accepted! Like Grand Ayatollah Sayyid M.S. Al-Hakeem or other real scholors.
Khomeini was half-way decent but seeing someone linking Arab nationalism like Gamel Abdel Nasser and Islamic nationalism like Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Pakistan taking power in Iran after the Shah would have been legit.
