Thanks for posting, hard core musicians may not love this keyboard but is is the best for my Daughter to learn on right now. A great product with so much inspiration that will last much past her next cell phone or two.
@@beetee3278 I think hard core musicians want more options, but I think that those musicians can use this to their keyboard to it's fullest. I posted 8 months ago and my daughter still loves it and plays it every day.
I’m hardcore and love this bc it’s one of the few portable full size key keyboard with Bluetooth midi. I pair it with an MPC Live 2. Most Bluetooth midi keyboards are mini sized.
Fantastic portable keyboard, had if for a year ,i use at home and for Gigs, sounds are Roland Professional grade...I love my Go Keys..watch out.Roland is giving the Competition a run for their money!
I agree with you Reginald! I have the same exact piano and I just love him so much he is such a good instrument his beautiful sounding. I called him and him because I have a special name for him cuz my favorite singer and piano player names his pianos I figured I'm going to give my piano a name! I recently discovered that Elton John has the same piano as me it blew my mind how cool is that! Happy piano playing!
@@hfe1833 I would say yes and no yes because you can START to learn KEYBOARDS (as general category) and it is less expensive as digital piano (but only slightly) plus you have many "synth" options to play with other sounds as well but the instruments having "real piano" keybeds with hammer action and weights are only slightly more expensive - Casio CDP-S100, Alesis Recital Pro, Yamaha P-45, Korg B2 (not B2N!) and Roland FP-10 and I would say you WILL have problems whet trying to start with hammer action keyboards (and for playing some things is hammer action way better or the only possibility) of course knowledge is transferrable but the transfer from piano to synth-like keybed is way easier (I did it oppositely and it was pain in the ass) if you don't want to play synths or any type of modern keyboards, piano only, maybe it would be better to start with above mentioned digital pianos, especially Casio is quite good and cheap BUT at the same moment synth-like 61k keyboard is quite good starting point to test your motivation and innate abilities (even pianos had 61-76 k until the mid of 19th century, all really "classical" pieces use only up to 5 octaves)
Questions: 1) You can Bluetooth audio input the keyboard but can you sent Bluetooth audio Output aswell? 2) Do you need the D/C charger when using its MIDI functionaity or can you use its MIDI features and power the keyboard through the USB without having to use the D/C adapter? 3) How loud are the built-in speakers? It's pretty good even if it does not fulfil these requisites.
Seems like an awesome little machine to play in the basement/musicroom with! I went with the Go-Piano, less options, but supposedly better piano sounds, because it's easier and more aimed for LIVE play.
Interesting product. Thanks for the review. Like! I need something light for travel with possibility to write some mix. I am using Roland FP30 at home and acoustic Grand piano at the school. So hard to choose between simple Midi keyboards and such featured synthesizers.
For the same price you can have quite advanced MIDI keyboard. At least weighted + aftertouch, in better case with hammer action, like with the synths around 1000 € (unfortunately, hammer action keyboards are often 88k exclusive).
@@erikrakovsky7793 Hi! Old post 8) I have already bought a new Chinese 88keys rechargeable digital piano for traveling ($120) and used Novation Impulse 61 MIDI keyboard at UK ebay. hi! I recently bought it and I wanted to know if there's a metronome feature of some sort. There seems to be a metronome symbol but I can't figure out how to use it! nice review
@@reginaldferere1443 I didn't find any metronome. Although there is Tempo setting. If you want metronome then Go: Piano have it. But I made several MIDI files with drum patterns to be played on the background, and what is possibly the best, I set up Korg Volca Beats as a metronome.
Hi I am a new beginner looking for my first keyboard. I likes this go key look and looks very cool. I am also looking at Yamaha e273. Which one is better for me? Thanks
You should have a camera up over keyboard to see pics of sounds in red there and up close if buttons and less speaking even though love your accent. I'm looking hammond b3 sound like Gregg rolie from Santana and fender Rhodes and grand piano sounds for jazz
It is supposed to be hooked to an amp and I spent the money on a really nice set of JBL speakers and they were disappointing, I read you need a pre amp to make them work. Even though what I bought was a bundle with the JBL speakers it did not work correctly, be careful.
Only two issues... The clicking sound when you switch sounds is pretty annoying. Also I just wish it had a pitch and mod wheel! Otherwise it looks great!
@@kelvinsmith6854 I think they could have incorporated it in the red and grey F keys. It doesn't really have keys, but uses a 'touch' substrate, which means the entire top layer is touch sensitive.

@@ArsiekDHOL I think you can send midi only to your computer via the USB. What I don't know is whether the keyboard can be USB-Powered at the same time, which I think it's not possible, but I'd wait for someone to confirm all that, cause I don't have it yet.
No, I've tried It in fl studio. It works as a MiDI controller too! It doesn't recognize the keyboard at First so you have to turn up the keyboard, plug in the USB, open the DAW, search for midi devices, the turn off the keyboard and turn It on again. Soon as you hear the Windows USB plug sound It appears in the midi devices list. At least for me worked that way with no problem. It does even recognize the buttons as a pitch bend. Remember to turn the keyboard volume to zero of you dont want to hear the internal sounds
Doesn't have that feature, you can record one of the drum loops then play along to that, if you make a mistake when you record you gave to start again.
Thanks for this! I'm thinking of getting one of these to go busking in the summer.

Yes it can, in Settings.
yes
the red bar is used as a pitch slider
Can you use it like a midi controller for Plugins on Logic Pro or others?
How to save sound bank ?
The output jack is 3.5mm can I use a 3.5 to XLR in order to put the go keys through my pa?
Can you use a rc505 looper with it
At around 2:40 there was some really horn sounds for my situation. Can anyone tell me what setting that was? Plzzzzzzz😊
does it not have pitch bender and modulation and can it lair sounds

If you want those features you have to buy a higher-end model, this is very reasonably priced keyboard .

Yes, in settings, simple
Witaj :) bardzo proszę napisz mi gdzie mogę znaleźć instrukcję po Polsku do tego cudownego instrumentu i czy można podłączyć słuchawki bluetooth
could that awful "touch tone" when you select something be turned off?
yes you can, in settings, simple
How about the key noise ? My casioPX-860 is really frustrating me with 10 key noise...
It can be turned off

Yes, it's in the settings.
Are those button touc sensors or similar to those washing machine buttons that cracks over time?
both :D

Sue Hedges there is an aux jack
Does it have a transpose button and beside battery powered can it connect to main power?
Yes and yes.
How do i change the sustain pedal polarity
Change it on the pedal. Not the keyboard
Actually, it will only do Bluetooth MIDI, not MIDI through the USB. The USB is ONLY used for backing up sounds and songs.... unfortunate.
I was wondering that,...that's unfortune

velocity sensitive...

Can I play a beat without using the loop
That's what I want to know man.did you get your answer?
No pitch wheel? :(
there are buttons to make it bend but results are poor

yes plus a ton of other sounds

Can you create your own beats? without drum loops.
Bluetooth doesn't work in every country, im in Thailand and just bought one no Bluetooth, gutted .
@Ms. Tal not on the keyboard it doesn't because not all go keys have it as a feature .
In short, why can't I tap in a simple 4/4 beat and have it loop around? I don't want all their gimmickry.

No percussion? Marimbas?
It has them , it has 500 tones
