I understand the dilemma, after spending so much on the iPhone's it becomes hard to look at it's shortcomings....you want to justify your purchase in the end. You just fix it in your mind that it's the best phone in the world, flex it around and pat yourself. Deep inside you know you've fallen into a marketing trap of a status symbol. But you keep telling your mind it's the best decision you've made, necessary to increase your productivity and work-flow...along those lines. Deep inside you know Android is more productive as it's less restrictive, you know you could transfer files faster with a usb type-c cable but you want to look cool with Air-drop. You try to overlook the Samsung flagships unless Apple introduces those same features 2 years down the line. You fall for the Apple eco-system which you don't have and slowly spend a lac on macbook and 50k on an Apple watch.Deep inside you know that Pin is the most secure option & Finger-print sensor Is secure enough but you still compromise with the notch for the sake of it. Sometimes you wonder, why no reviewer ever mentioned that the back gesture isn't constant on iPhone's or how you can't send files using bluetooth in your iPhone or how there's so much bloatware like Apple Tv, Facetime, iMessage etc that we don't use in India at all (It's WhatsApp here). On a wild trip you quickly realize Apple Maps isn't as accurate & reliable in India so you pull out your dusty old Android with Google Maps and it shows you the way. Then later on you secretly install Google maps on your Iphone. You also then install the Google Chrome as it's simply better. You appreciate the Instagram's integration on iPhone's as the reviewers told you but then you see your dusty Android friend smartly using the superior stock camera instead of the poor built-in Instagram camera for better quality. He then tells you Samsung has already integrated Instagram & even Snapchat now btw. Also, while typing phone numbers in ios dialer, you find out that names don't pull-up like on Android. You find it silly at first but then realize that iPhone's don't use a T9 dialer and nor do they have call-recording like on your dusty old Android. As the days pass by, you realise the file system doesn't really exist, it's for namesake. Some of your downloads are visible only in Safari browser. You can't download movies or mp3 files directly. Meanwhile your Android friend is bundling Apk files, using zip, rar, hiding files with single touch on Android's File manager. You secretly slide him a pen-drive for those torrent files as torrent on iPhone's simply doesn't... Ok let's not talk about it. You immediately realize that how your Android used to talk nicely with sd-cards, cables, mouse and various Operating systems like Windows, Linux etc...not the case with ios. You see itunes app as a saviour but then you realize it's specifically designed by Apple to make a mockery out of you for doing things not permitted in strict Apple ecosystem You see your friends using Google Pay and Samsung Pay but you can't use your Apple pay as it simply doesn't work in India. You suddenly realize that all the apps you ever installed on Android were mostly free, either from playstore or from the browser...no workaround as such on Apple app store, pay and get the useful stuff. You're happy about getting 5-6 years of updates but you quickly realize you don't get next year iPhone's fancy features be it Cinematic mode or Night-mode. Meanwhile your typical Samsung gave Night mode or Single take on their budget devices with an update. Breaking the iphone 13's screen could cost you unncessarily 25k (cuz India), so you add 2-3 screen protectors and a hefty case with a shining visIble Apple logo (that's most important). You don't talk about fast charging or your selfie camera (meh). You quickly realize that animations on Ios are smooth but it too is plagued by bugs, you surely miss how Android managed notifications. You get bored looking at the ugly icons as your beloved wallpaper is almost invisible. To Edit your favorite photo, you can't share it from gallery to Snapseed/Lightroom, you've to open that editing app and search your pic within it. Gone are the days of using unlimited storage and Google Photos as you've just one Google Account (Ios bugs with multiple of those). It doesn't like to copy/paste beyond text or image and it surely won't talk nicely with your android watch. You can't move stuff, be it your Files or Icons...you just share files to other apps and save it there (let that sink in). You appreciate the performance of the beastly Bionic chip but you quickly realise there's not much you can do with it, multi-tasking like Android's...Nope! You absolutely love the powerful M1 chip but then you understand that Games and Editors etc still run better on Windows and the nerdy programmer's still stick to their Linux or Windows suite for better and deeper control. You wonder why no-one talks about the Apple issues on forum's like be it reddit or quora. You certainly miss how Android community used to together raise an issue, discuss, share stuff on Android Froum's like Xda, reddit etc After a while, you notice you've increased your productivity as you've started spending less time with your Iphone as it's more restrictive and nothing special has to happen now. You stop tinkering with your iPhone as it doesn't allows it...it stops all your attempts of making it your own unique phone with your taste. It prefers to be left out. It's like your sibling, you learn to live with it however terrible it may be. As the new iPhone's launch, the charm of your old iphone quickly dies out. All your friends upgrade to the new one and you feel left out & intrigued to buy the new one but now you know it's the cycle of trap. Out of nowhere, you see your old friend using dusty Galaxy Note 9+ but he's still paid respects in the Android community. He doesn't pretend, neither he's bothered about status symbol, in-fact he's quite reckless with his phone cuz he uses his phone as a tool to get his things done. You cheekily ask him, "still using the dusty Galaxy Note 9+ pal?". To which he replies, "I prefer to use a custom tailor-made suit instead of a generic-fit for all. Not only does it fits me perfectly, I also feel more comfortable wearing and using it." Cheers

To use apple ecosystem, you need to buy all apple products, which are very costly. Apple is making sure that everyone buys their own products in order for the iPhone to work. On the other hand android phone works with every product of different brands and is making sure the economy is balanced.

Just ensuring long term updates don't make android equal to iOS. The integrity between software and hardware Apple provides, is unmatched in any android sub system till date.
You can use iphones for 4-5 years without worrying. Their bionic chip is miles ahead. So spending like 50-60k would make sense for many people. But the real maza will come with the whole eco system

Start with old cheaper iPhone for 1st time experience. I not liked iPhone and wasted 60K.
The real problem for me is the ecosystem. So far I've heard from people, watched TH-cam and Apple-to-Apple ecosystem is just superb. But, I'd get locked inside the Apple ecosystem and got to keep spending bulk of money to get all the Apple devices and then upgrade them as necessary. Plus, I've lots of apps and games purchased on Google Play which cannot be transferred to Apple... that sucks big time

UI is a major pro pr fone here, ios is mundane where as u can keep ur android the way it is or u can go crazy and modify it look amd feel as u want
Then there is charging issues as well, u can take anyone's charger for emergency in android, but for iphone ull have to look for it and its a major task

If you observe carefully ios is losing on both software and hardware department .on software ios needs major upgrade it has no dual screen mode,no file folder ,less no of application .and so much restriction on everything. even the software optimization of Android has almost caught up in some high end phones
In case of hardware it's got a breakable glass back. No cooling system heats up in intense use.no punch hole camera. Only got 3x zoom camera. 60 hz display in all Model leaving pro.even chinese phones have better battery than I phone except the big sized pro models . No type c chargerI mean they have been producing the same phone since iPhone 10. 🤷. The only thing they win is on processor which is a overkill one doesnt need that much unnecessary power

RAM management ofcourse iPhone keeps its UI as simple as possible so much that it don't even store more than 100 call logs that's incuding your internet calls and file management on the go is a nightmare comparing that to One UI which is way more advanced and still holds that performance it's not a big deal.

Is it practical when compared with android
RAM management is good in stock Android. All Android phones using their own UI over stock Android tend to kill background apps. Also Bloatware issues are not there in stock Android. I think Airdrop, ecosystem and stability are advantages in an iphone. Also ecosystem's wall works in your disadvantage when you want cheaper accessories to keep your overall spending less, or you want a windows computer to play high end PC games.
Abhi ke time pe mac bhi aachi gaming karwa sakte hai. But games sirf Windows ke keliye optimised hai. Agar developer mac ke liye optimise kare toh 2Lack ka mac 3Lack ka pc ko bhi takar dek saktha hai
@@GTAVC9558 Definitely Mac has raw power to game. But Macs are costlier in India than it is in the USA. Apple has done incredibly great job in designing their own chip. But it still hasn't beat threadripper and and gtx 3090 which may consume double the power but can squeeze more performance too. That means if you work on the go then Apple will serve your purpose as you will need more battery efficiency than performance(also for an individual creator performance requirements are limited, but sometimes you don't get a charging station even for more than two days). But if you work in office or home in continuous power supply then building PC is better option as it gives option to customise chips according to your usage, and for workstations and studio related works there are motherboards which supports more than one processor and graphics card.

Last word... Android is more user friendly.
The dynamic range and exposure management in iPhone camera are beyond compare. Also, the multiple shutter click (where Android lags heavily) and features given in portrait mode are fantastic. For edit purpose, the Photos app does mostly the best job. I hardly use any other app for photo editing except Photos app. Where Samsung is still far behind in this segment. Another feature is Focus mode, logically customizable and highly functional. Features like dual eSIM are technology for years ahead. The consistency of battery backup below 20% is beautiful. And of course the feature Home button, it’s the gem of iPhone.

- no call recording

Btw shareIT has been banned for well over 2 years now. Android uses Nearby Share for seamless media transfers. Also majority of default camera apps on Android can easily scan the QR code and if not, Google Lens is already baked into the camera app.

I was thinking to switch an iphone. I have been using my current phone for 4 yrs now and always been on android. The only reason I wanted to buy an iphone is to have some kind of premium and different experience. I am bored with Android. I don't feel like buying those realme, vivo, redmi, falana dhimaka and Samsung isn't making anything great as such. All its phone of a particular range looks same. And with one plus my father has it. It looked good till few days after that same old thing. I really want a good different kind of Android phone in market. Like back in those days nokia lumia types. I had one and damne it was so good. I will definitely buy an ipad for sure but I am just too confused with respect to mobile phones.

samsung is some what a connecting link to match Android with IOS. Like Airdrop , Samsung has Samsung flow to transfer file. Even Your phone companion App in Windows has some extra samsung specific Features. No doubt Apple Eco system is best for seamless operations but It takes so much freedom of a user. Only IPhone without other Apple products is somewhat meaningless.

Can somebody help me decide whether i should buy the OnePlus 12 or the iPhone 15 they are the 2 phones that fit my budget and I like them. I've been an Android user all my life i currently have a OnePlus 9r that I've been using for almost 3 years. I need my good performance and good battery life i know that the iPhone has 60hz and not 120hz like the 12 and my current 9r but I really like iphones. I am finding a lot of things that are really good on the iPhone but it also has some bad things that are bothering me like the screen size it's 6.1 on the iPhone and 6.8 on the 12 and 6.5 on the 9r. Should I buy the iPhone 15 or the OnePlus 12 or something else. Just so you know I am not going to buy a new phone till the end of the year or start of next year.
The Actual facts between these two never ending debate is that Android vs IOS most talked thing IOS offers less features. so less features means less number of bugs and they only have one universal OS which is controlled by them so developer's are forced to code in only that language and code is more optimized there, no doubts in it's ram management and battery backup it's best and also it's processor whereas in android there are more features so there will be more of bugs and sometimes it takes time to fix them and its all normal for day to day purpose you will find it better soon or later for Android Ecosystem!

You also need to talk about longevity of iOS devices. Many of friends using iPhone 6 or iPhone 4 happily still now. I’m using iPhone almost 4 years without any issues. Where as my another android phone starts issues after 1 or 2 years. That is why apple products has more resale value.

1. Ram management is much better on iPhone yes, but not in the way that you explained. Like closing recent apps does not benefit Android as well. Also, olders apps do get closed on iPhone also. It used to be a big difference previously, but now its almost same.
2. Sharing photos is much better with Google photos, which also creates shared albums, but this time without dependency on the platform. So, us lehaz se intehai useless hai iOS Photos app ki sharing feature.
Honestly, the only plus is continuity between apple products but it's kinda usless for people with only iphone.
I'm currently working on an apple project in our company and we are given apple iphones. No one in our team is liking it besides the smoothness.

I bought 71k iphone 13 recently and previously I had asus zenfone max pro m1 worth 7500 Rs and 13 ofc is way way better there are just no issues, battery lasts for 1.5-2 days, the phone looks premium and damn photos and videos on this phone, also Ui is clean and doesn’t lag also apple has optimised its apps on ios so apps like whatsapp and Instagram doesn’t degrade photo quality after uploading also the speakers are so loud too and I love this new phone, also there is only 1% -2%of idle battery drain for whole day, cons are it’s bulky, screen has yellow tint. No other issue that I faced.

I am using S20 FE 5G and i can do most of the things (if not all) same as iphone like scanning any code directly from camera app.. copy from an image, etc.
Edit: now samsung and any windows 11 laptop can do same as iphone and mac... like opening same apps on both.. Continuing same apps opening. The only difference is Ram management.. now even samsung is giving 4 years of android updates.. sometimes even before google pixel.
