They know how to make a good battlefield game but they just refuse to do so, both of those games were a couple of steps away from being one of the best shooters we’ll ever have.

Really wish if they did add some updates or maybe dlcs (since it's EA they're gonna make them dlcs) to older games which still have numbers. I'm gonna move to play SimCity 4 and it only has one expansion while game is still popular. It just seems like a waste to make a game and move on to new project when their games still have potential.

I kinda like it. Not showing up on the map when you shoot is great. Kind of weird you get pinpoint accurate location when you shoot a bullet in 2042. And being spotted in a 64 v 64 match just means you are dead, which little fun. So I like the spotting only being able for snipers or suppresion from lmg/mmg

Yeah the immersion in this game is trash because of things like this. I get that it's a game so surely there have to be some weird things, but in this game it's way too much. Japanese women running around shooting a thompson in France fighting for Germany is literally a joke

@@toastpludNgl I spent the most time with bf4 out both of em and thought it was great but I was on console and Fov sliders weren’t a thing for consoles at the time so I found it really sluggish and just had a little motion sickness which made me not play as much in one sitting
REAL good things in Battlefield V is: Grand Operations (improved Operations mod from bf 1) 3 good maps (Rotterdam/Devastation/Twisted Steel) other maps is TRASH Call elite Vehicle Exhaustible equipment ammunition on Vehicle And Fortifications
Grand Operations is exactly the same as Operations from BF1. I think you mean Breakthrough, which plays the same as Operations, but gets rid of the issue of extremely long rounds

Six years after the game's release, BATTLEFIELD V is still an AMAZING game! Shame BF2042 or even COD MWIII 2023 cant match the greatness of Battlefield V.
I like BF5, has its flaws that are clear as day, but the gameplay was fun. Movement and sniping being the highlights of the game, random recoil on reg guns was a bit iffy.

I think he said that because he hasn't played it a lot since its final update, and so doesn't remember everything about it. He also just didn't quite play it as much as other BF games when it was still live.
If I'm being honest if I'm having that battlefield itch I just go and play BF3 or BF4. Those games are the only ones that give me that Battlefield vibe I'm craving.
BF-V needs the maps they left out. It finally got great when they stopped supporting it & adding content. 2042 and BF-V (invisible men, hands feet only) and other bugs plagued BF-V and 2042 was similar. I will never preorder a DICE/EA game ever again
It's the fact that your shots are tied directly to your character existing. If you get killed before a shot you already fired hits its target, the bullet will magically vanish from existence. I'm guessing they did this to prevent kill trading, but I have no clue why, as far as I know literally nobody has a problem with kill trading.
Tbag, if you want a ww1 first person shooter, but it's tired of Bf 1, give a chance to Verdun or Tannemberg It's (i think) hystorically acurrate and plays way different than regular Bf And the price is very low
It's hard to get tired of BF1 unless you play it every single day. But Verdun and Tannenberg, and the other games in the series like Isonzo, are pretty good, Tbag should defo try them out
The movement and gunplay in BFV are what I hate most about it. People sliding around all over the place and point and click guns with ZERO ranged superiority therefore all guns feeling the same. That coupled with the absolutely horrendous visibility, bad audio design, useless animations, ATTRITION (the worst) and awful maps are why this game was never underrated IMO. In fact, even when it was at it's lowest, it was still overrated as hell. Particularly when you consider they had the winning formula for BF1 right in front of them 1:48 Exhibit A. There is no reason for him to be able to hit those shots with a fully auto gun even while tap firing. Why would you use anything else?
To be fair, the feel of the gunplay is great, and outside of SMGs (which are stupid overpowered, especially since they belong to the medic class) the guns are decently balanced. But other than that, I agree. I would also like to add the dishonest campaign and ridiculous character customization. They seem to have forgotten they were making a WW2 game, and confused it for some sort of Fortnite-Steampunk-Fallout fashion show.
Honestly if it had released in a state similar to how it is now, with more accurate appearances and a more respectful campaign, it would be near perfect
In defence of pilot gameplay. Of everyone is playing bombers, being a pilot might actually be fun. Of course, only as a bomber pilot. Fighters just suck unless you're running the bf109 with rockets as a ground attacker. But plane on plane violence is really unfun, flak cannons tear you apart no matter how much health your plane has and the fliegerfaust will one shot you (technically 2 shot since it fires 2 bursts), and you will never have gunners.
man i loved pilot gameplay. pacific theatre planes were amazing both in air to air and air to ground fights. flaks were bit overpowered but if you had another good pilot on air it wasnt much of a problem to take out

No, not true. BF1's soldiers looked like WW1 soldiers. It also stuck to accurate representation for the most part. But BFV threw all that out the window; it also has double the prototype weapons than BF1, yet everyone lets it get away with it for some reason.

you forgot to mention taking out tanks with repair tool or making them jump out so you can steal the tanks
I like the attrition system. Snipers not being to heal over and over was a great idea.

Still populated, lot of fun and intense as well. Had some crazy gameplay footage like 98-6 or 48-1. It really is underrated and deserves more love!

I miss V's movement soo much. The funny thing with this game, too, is that 2042 makes V's maps seem top tier even though they're not good.
The best snipers in this game are the Anti-Material rifles. Love using those things lol
