got the N30 as a back up (I use my Samsung Ultra to shoot short films)..was so impressed by it...I just kept my sim card in it and use the Sammy for filming.

Nice review JTL. Good to see some competition in the marketplace. We need it with smartphones getting more expensive for basically the same thing. Cheers!

I got the N20 for a friend a few months ago and he loves it. Did a lot of research before buying it and found a number of articles about the N20 that had nothing but praise for it. It has a solid build, beautiful design and great battery life. And even though it only has a single downward firing speaker it puts out plenty of sound. Got it on sale new from AMZ for just $230. Looks like the N30 followers in its footsteps. Oh, and it also works great on Mint! 😁

Sadly, the N30 does not have an amoled display as the N20 does.

@@ivermec-tin666 That's a shame. I forgot to mention how nice the display is on the N20. That's not where you want to cut corners.

Although the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC is a 5G capable processor, the chip does not support Wi-Fi 6. The Qualcomm FastConnect 6200 only supports 5GHz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth 5.2 technology. Hence, the download and upload speeds over the Wi-Fi network are limited to the 5GHz networking capabilities.

This looks really good for the price.... wow SD card slot expandable to 1 TB? nice charging brick. Exactly what the others don't or won't. I'm game.

Seems like a lot of phone for the price! I wonder if they are selling these at cost or thereabouts.

A sandisk 512gb micro sd card is only £38.99 crazy.

I never know what to believe. The other reviews I've watched said the N20 is great but the N30 is trash. I'm so tired of paying for flagships with features I don't use. After my horrible year & 8 months with the Pixel 6 Pro, I can't handle another phone that's garbage. So if I'm going to choose saving money, the phone has to be snappy & bug-free. Otherwise I'll just pay through the nose for a flagship again. Btw, this was on sale at Best Buy (activated) for $199 + a $30 gift card. Idk if the sale's still on.

I haven't used any of the previous Nord phones, so this was new to me and I think it's a very solid phone for the price.

@@thejasontlewis It sure looks that way. I tend to agree with your reviews. You don't seem to be purposefully misleading people, unlike some other reviewers. Of course Google knows when I watch or read a review & sends more reviews to my discover feed. That's why I said idk who to believe. I literally got 2 links with opposite reviews. Same goes for the Galaxy A54. Do you know if the N30 is the same as the Nord 3 in other markets?

G'aftetnoon Jason ☕☕ 🤠 . I was a big fan of LG phones until their demise. I've since become a big fan of One Plus phones. My gf & I love our Nord N200's. I run mine on LTE and it's great. Simply said it's damn hard to beat One Plus for the $$ 🙃 ..

I was also a fan of LG phones and moved on to the OnePlus Nord N200. The availability of a sim card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack are really nice features. I miss the changeable battery that my LG phones had.

OnePlus has the worst warranty support ever. Def would avoid. Those pics look horrible... almost like a watercolor painting. Also no updates... might as well get a moto at least they have warranty support

Two major drawbacks Only one major update that's a NO, go right there. The headphone jack is always a weak point which always fails. The price is reasonable but not something I'd be running out to get as a backup, but that's just me.

    • @ivermec-tin666
      @ivermec-tin666 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I have never experienced a failure of the headphone jack on an LG phone or a OnePlus phone. This feature was dropped from most brands because it cannot be water proofed.

    • @moomin7461

@@ivermec-tin666I've never experienced a headphone jack failure on any phone. Headphone failure, yes, but not the jack itself. Many rugged phones still have headphone jacks (waterproofed behind a rubber plug).

I've worked in the industry since before 3.5mm jacks were on phones. I've only seen one jack break out of the thousands and thousands of insurance claims I've processed.
I've seen more phones in house fires...
