I had my HW98 tuned by Nick Simmons, and I experienced similar results to yourself to start with. After a couple of tins through it, it now bedded in and shoots an absolute dream.
yes mate that’s going to have to bed in and your going to have to get used to shooting a springer again but it sure looks promising not bad groups at all couple of wild ones but still in the pipe
I've had a couple more sessions with it since filming this; a few hundred pellets from a bench and zeroing from the peg. It's a whole lot better already! 😀👍
Happy Friday Jeff, great video once again, I'm happy you got your HW 97 sorted out , it's been a bit of a labour of love for you 👍👍 👍❤️ you'll be shooting like you used to in no time at all, like you said it needs bedding in, my girlfriend needs bedding in 🤣🤣lol.. Sorry my mind got side tracked for a minute there😂😂🤔🤔😂😂 anyway it's always a pleasure tuning into your Show to see what you've been up to👍👍have a great weekend Jeff. 👌✌️👍
That's great Jeff, it's an amazing rifle and looks awesome to, I've never seen a stock like that on a HW 97.. 😍😍😍 Well done with sorting the trigger out.. That was cool fix, catch you on your next Show👍👍😎😎😂😂 👌👍✌️
A nick simmons tuned rifle will have only a 4-5fps spread over a chronograph when bedded in. One tin will bed it in. Best of weighing the pellets first.
Sorry to deflect from the main concept of the video, but how good are those bisley eye cups by the way. As soon as my forehead hits the rubber I have a perfect view. Great vid sir. Subscribed.
@@hftshooter thanks for that , it seems pretty cheap fo all the work that's been done, but you won't be able to tell until you have put quite a few pellets through it , looking forward to another video on that , 😁👍
@@Airgunfunrich sorry to confuse, he's a Border terrier crossed with a Lakeland terrier and the most chilled out dog you can imagine. Like most border terriers I've come across, has a great temperament.

Thanks! 🙂👍
Great update Jeff. Springers can get under your skin but very satisfying when they settle down. Cheers 🙂
Thanks Peter. Just pleased to have it sorted and getting back to how it was. 🙂👍
Nick did my 97 and it's mint!
🙂👍
Another great video. Glad your 97 is back on song! Have a great weekend.
Thanks! You too!

Hi Johnny, thanks. I've shot it a few times since and it's shooting well. You have a good weekend too! 🙂👍

If i was bedding it in again it would be definitely on a bench that is hard work 😰😰

Ok, thanks for that. I guess we'll see. 👍 Don't get me started on weighing pellets. 😅

Yeah, they definitely work for me. 🙂👍
How much did it cost for the work carried out, ? Thanks,
It was around £240. I have no idea how that compares with other timers, but knowing what's been done I thought it was quite reasonable.

Good morning
Have you got the link to the night vision binoculars please
My apologies Steve, I forgot to add the links. They are now in the video description.
That an airdale in background?
He's a Border Lakeland cross. 🙂
@@hftshooter not heard of that breed what they like ? Temperament etc?

That 1 odd shot could of be equally a bad pellet
Yes, could've been. It was straight from the tin. 👍
I bet you was filming but you crapped yourself and panicked 😀
No honestly, camera was off which is a shame as it would've been good footage. Not quite a brown trousers moment but not far off! 😅
Why bother torquing bolts if you ignore the settings from the manufacturer?
I used to follow their guidance until it creased the tube on one of my scopes, so now I just torque enough to keep things secure. 👍
@@hftshooter fair enough
Hole on hole.😂.
Ok?
Fk me, 50% discount ! How much are they making off us mugs at full price ?
15% discount not 50! 👍
Put it in the bin mate get a m4 fx compact you will never look back lol 😂.😊
Thanks for the tip. I'll assume that's just banter and move on. 😉👍
Having a springer is like having square wheels on a carriage pulled by pit ponys
@@stevenpritchard3519 why?
I'm guessing you're not a springer shooter? 😅
