    Love your videos! I’m starting my homestead up in the Adirondack Mtns in upstate NY, I’ve got myotonic goats, and a couple Boer/Kiko crosses. I want to have primarily Kiko’s. I also have a female Great Pyrenees/Anatolian cross, she’s a fantastic dog! Looking for a male pup to add here, would love one of your pups when the litter is ready. I’d make the road trip in the spring fir the pup and a couple of your baby doelings and a buckling, if you have them available.

    🤗🤗. Looks like you’re already getting your Xmas gifts early. Keep wishing hard to Santa like kids do for those puppies. Years back everyone wanted Australian Shepherds and Healers to have as working dogs and good with people. They’d fight to protect animals and handlers to the death and great companion on trail rides. Also could handle any weather. When your type of dog came along people not certain they’d be able to stand the heat of some areas but they have. And they definitely want to be right there with whatever they’re protecting. So hoping we’ll see how ya work with them too. Our longtime Vet and dear friend always had us do the same to the cord. Said it was like an open wound that attracted dirt and germs into the babies system. Would we live a wound unattended on ourselves. Or our babies? Just good cleaning for them to stay healthy and a beginning to handling them too. Congratulations for another milestone for your channel and you’ll probably be hitting even more. Baby goats is what people love to see and you’re straightforward sharing everything. Naturally people will be vocal about what you are doing and not even own a farm animal. You know how much sugar to add to make what ya share alot more sweeter to take. Keep on doing what you know best cuz people will see just how much your family cares for the animals. How’s the steer that thinks it’s a goat or is it in the freezer? Been a while so thought I’d ask. Merry Christmas 🎄 and hope all goes well with all the babies yet to come 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    How active are they first 24-48 hours?? I've got some day old twins, and I'm worried they're not latching and suckling as much as they should.

    • @BoisDArcKikos
      @BoisDArcKikos  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not to active but we can pick them up and see if they feel full or they will be crying. Typically they are bouncing around after a couple of days. Kikos are typically up and sucking within minutes.

    • @TRspeaksTRUTH
      @TRspeaksTRUTH 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @BoisDArcKikos I found them after they'd both been dropped yesterday, I'd say within 30 mins of birth. They're Nigerian dwarf. Mamas doin well, but the babies just seem lethargic. This is my first newborns since I was a teenager, so I may just be worrying for nothing.

    • @BoisDArcKikos
      @BoisDArcKikos  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @TRspeaksTRUTH there is a paste you can give to new horns that will help get them going to. Usually tractor supply carries it.
