- Depuis un an que nous avons loué notre Citroën DS Cabriolet Chapron à Brad Pitt et Angelina Jolie pour le tournage de leur prochain film "By The Sea" nous attendions fiévreusement de savoir quelle place ils avaient réservé à notre "bébé" ... Le moins que l'on puisse dire est que nous ne sommes pas déçu, dès le générique notre DS est tout simplement omniprésente !!! Elle les accompagne ensuite tout au long du film avant un générique de fin où "Brad et Angie" laissent éclater leur complicité ... Toujours dans notre DS !!! Quelle beauté et pub pour la DS Cabriolet. Bravo votre DS est superbe. Par contre les scripts, ils auraient pu penser à mettre le levier de vitesses en 4eme pour les plans ou la caméra se trouve dans la voiture qui roulent vite...On se doute que ces plans là, elle était sur un plateau....quelle erreur...

Brad should have had a haircut. And I don't like the way he took that steep corner, safer to go wide to avoid hitting the frame, that is a cabriolet you know Brad!
Yes but it's also a DS, it has the best suspensions in the world. Safer to do it with this car than any other.
Il ne conduit pas : à 1:08 on voit que le levier de vitesses est au point mort (entre la 1ere et la 2eme.)
Bien vu, les plans du génériques ont été tournés sur un plateau, par contre Brad Pitt a beaucoup conduit la voiture "pour de vrai" et nous leur avons même reloué la voiture après le tournage du film !!!

Hi Mac, well spotted, the car is a Renault R8 and it's indeed a RHD as the movie has been filmed in Malta. Our DS was brought from France, but most of the other cars had been hired locally and were mostly RHD...
In fact it’s a Renault 10 which is based on the R8, but has another front and rear and a bigger engine.
It's not a true Chapron, but a reproduction available to the rent. Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie tried to buy the car after the movie but its owner refused: we anderstand why.
