    hmmm wondering... what if after you have cut the audio clip you don't drag it to another audio track and leave it in place. Apply the muffling eq just to the clip and not the track and then just add audio crossover to each connection. Wouldn't that be much easier to have the fading on point instead of manually adjusting it, scrolling up and down, etc. ?

    • @JamieFenn
      @JamieFenn  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It wouldnt make a difference because you would still be eq'ing the whole channel.

    • @JamieFenn
      @JamieFenn  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is the only way to do it with stock Davinci Resolve ( but yes you are right...you could do it your way in the edit tab if you have a third party EQ installed)

    • @zorrothebug
      @zorrothebug 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@JamieFenn I have only standard Davinci Resolve (free version) and in the inspector I can eq any audio clip. have a look:
      up.picr.de/40927776ys.jpg
      It's not affecting any other clip on that audio track.

    Very useful tutorial ! I don't know much about fairlight, but do you think what you did can be saved into a preset, or something that can be applied over a sound ? Also I'm thinking to but Studio version. Do you know if I will buy studio version 17, it's a lifetime license ? Can I use it to update in the future to studio version 18 ? Thanks ! If I will have more questions, do you mind if I will contact you on Instagram ?

    • @JamieFenn

  • @TristanG10.000

    ngl I'm pretty sad that there are so many important property that we can't animate. This would've been so easy to just key frame the slider

    • @JamieFenn
      @JamieFenn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean you can almost animate everything so I'm not sure what you mean?

    • @TristanG10.000
      @TristanG10.000 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JamieFenn you can't animate the EQ, the audio channels (even in the inspector), can't animate pitch, can't animate channel pans, can't animate reverb. My guess is that you can't animate any audio effects FX. I've not checked every single one of them of course because I defeninetly am a beginner, but from what I see there are many parameters for audio that we can't animate.
      Hence my first comment, I was speaking about directly animating the EQ like you would with fl studio or Ableton

  • @blertonsaraci

  • @tomaszbejnarowicz

    Davinci i so stupid sometimes. You have to put effect on the whole audio track. You can't just do it on one clip like in premiere. Weird...
