i just drove this car... it is freaking amazing!! .....even after driving a Tesla, the V8 sound is king! (both are fast as hell, btw) But yea, this car is fast as hell
i love the S6... but the popup display reminds me of the same screen my Garmin GPS had back in early 2010... it's hidious. they should have increased the visual size of it by 2018.
Audi advertises 450 at the crank, not to the wheels. However, because Audi is none to put out fake performance #s I wouldn’t doubt that it probably makes over 400 hp to the wheels
SeanScatpack Fallon I was set on a CPO but that only adds one year, unlimited miles. I bought it for my wife and she drives maybe 7,500 miles a year, so I’m paying however much for 7,500 miles? No thank you. Then I was going to buy from CarMax because they quoted me $3100 for 4yr/50,000, $50 deductible which I thought sounded great as they are known for having outstanding warranties. Finally I checked with an independent dealer and ended up buying an exclusional warranty, where everything’s covered excluding wear and tear items like brakes and tires. The warranty co. is Continental who has an A+ BBB rating and it cost me $3600 with a $0 deductible for 5yr/60,000 miles. My point is think about your individual situation and get a car with a warranty based on your driving habits. She just wanted white and I had to have the Arras, Sport pkg, Black Optic. I wouldn’t have it any other way. In the end I got an amazing car with a warranty that is better than a brand new one. The best part, it was half the price of brand new one. $48k (w/warranty), versus $94k. Granted it has 20k miles on it, but still. Yes, please!
AUDI puts that figure out for those who don’t use Launch control setting.. sport mode, just smashing the pedal gets you around 4.4... with Launch control engaged, actual 0-62 times are 3.7. I have had 2, I can verify this
danny yevcak What do you mean by unfiltered? Like not compressed audio? I bought a preowned one that has the B&O system. It sounds great but I just run Apple CarPlay from my phone. I know, I know. I’m not an audiophile so it sounds fine to me but I’m curious how much better it could sound.
lol...a 2018 audi s6 w/450 HP is rated above a 2018 BMW M5 with 600 H.P.??? In what universe is that? Even the 2018 M550i is faster and is rated at 260 H.P.
I’m a year in with my S6 - 2018 model. I’ll not lie, it’s not great. Yeah it does 0-60 in just over 4 seconds but that gets boring when you’ve done it a few times. The interior and tech is crap; it’s no better than the A7 I let go. Fortunately got it on lease and didn’t buy it. I cannot wait to hand it back. My mate has the S3 and the tech is far better. The S6 I have doesn’t even have the iPhone compatibility. Got bored of arguing with Audi over the spec I ordered. Shame really as I’ve had Audi’s for a number of years now. I got this on the back of an older model they lent me when my A7 was in for a service. The older model was far better.
Well, how about Willow Springs, for starters? A Camaro SS went turn for turn with a BMW M4 in Motor Trend's testing, so I think it would leave the heavier, less nimble S6 sucking dust. But there's no need to be bitter about that just because the Chevy's as-tested price was only $46K. And does the Nürburgring have enough turns for you? Because the ZL1 did a lap there in 7:16.04, that's faster than a Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, or McLaren MP4-12C, so I'm pretty sure your fancy new sport sedan couldn't hang. And the MSRP of the ZL1 is right at $70K.
I would hope a car with 200 more horsepower and almost 250 more ft/lb of torque would be faster. Apples to oranges here. One is a serious muscle car, the other is a sports sedan.
christopher mcferrin The power numbers are actually pretty even between the Camaro SS (455 hp, 455 lb ft) and S6 (450 hp, 406 lb ft). The reason the Audi would get its tail kicked is due to the extra 700 pounds of curb weight it hauls around versus the Chevy. But as you’ve said, there’s no reason to expect a souped-up family sedan to compete with an actual sports car when it comes to performance driving. However, I’m sure the S6 makes grocery runs to Whole Foods and picking up the kids at soccer practice very exciting.
+James Warren But I’m driving an Audi with massage seats...not a Chevy. If I wanted a poorly sealed cabin, shitty plastic interior and 2 doors I would have bought a hellcat. I’ve driven an SS (video on the channel) it was impressive sure, but not what I want. Is it cool with you if I buy what suits me, James?
I would never buy an S6 without the diamond pattern seats
I liked the sport seats but the massage chairs were a trap I could not pull myself out of.
Ohhh, okay I would have fell for that trap also lol
i just drove this car... it is freaking amazing!! .....even after driving a Tesla, the V8 sound is king! (both are fast as hell, btw)
But yea, this car is fast as hell
i just drove this same model car*
i love the S6... but the popup display reminds me of the same screen my Garmin GPS had back in early 2010... it's hidious. they should have increased the visual size of it by 2018.
How do you feel about the S6 one year in?
Audi advertises 450 at the crank, not to the wheels.
However, because Audi is none to put out fake performance #s I wouldn’t doubt that it probably makes over 400 hp to the wheels
I’m deciding between this and the rs7 hmmm. Both amazing for sure
rs7 looks with performance
When I get mine one day preferably CPO lol It has to be black with the arras red design interior. With the S6 sport package. One day

Seems like your trying to show us the rolex more than the car... Does it have LED color ambient lighting?
+Scott Free yes it does
Jay nice videos. i have the 2016 s6 and was looking at a radar detector, which do you have and recommend?
I use the escort max 360 my friend
What's the torque split on these things.
just going off Audi's web page for the 4.4 0to 60. That is awesome if they under shot it
+Rob Wieters Audi is generally pretty liberal with figures.
AUDI puts that figure out for those who don’t use Launch control setting.. sport mode, just smashing the pedal gets you around 4.4... with Launch control engaged, actual 0-62 times are 3.7. I have had 2, I can verify this
Nice review. I don't hear anyone review the stereo? Is it ok? Great? Sub par?
If you have the B&O, insane sound system if you use unfiltered audio... the standard S6 Bose is very good.
danny yevcak What do you mean by unfiltered? Like not compressed audio? I bought a preowned one that has the B&O system. It sounds great but I just run Apple CarPlay from my phone. I know, I know. I’m not an audiophile so it sounds fine to me but I’m curious how much better it could sound.
@@linneslife5678 not going to lie as a 26 year old I hate my Bose system in the car.
lol ahh depreciation just picked up a 2018 with 26k miles for 49k
Just bout a ‘17 with 39k for 39k 😂💪🏻
Same ! I just bought the 2013 S6 45k for 32!
Try and go into launch control and try to get a base 0-60 time.
+Romney Pasion I’ll research how to do it
Jay Flat Out
Coo. Sub'd for the S6.
I filmed it yesterday, need to find a video to squeeze it into but yes it works :)
Love it
Did you say Porsche "Panorama" lol
hahahahaha seriously
hey guys it's me and today we're going to take a look at the PORTCH PANARAMA.
Lmao
Check passenger footwell for power point.
+John J. Sasu III I’m going to again someone else told me this. Thanks!
Should have picked up a used one, let someone else carry the depreciation.
You have 7k subs and your trying to sell merch? Seems kinda desperate to me.
+Get Shrekt Thanks for the opinion no one asked for 👍🏻 😂
He owns a $100k car i doubt he's desperate. A person with no job with 5 subs would be desperate
I never said he was desperate for money. More like attention.
Jay Flat Out actually I asked for his opinion specifically in a comment
the 2018 bmw m5 is AWD
Msrp?
Price ?
+elite 25 about 80
Need to get 0-60 pull with the drone!
+Brandon Bennett Haha I just filmed the launch control video yesterday. My drone only goes like 33mph though :-(
Jay Flat Out yea but it would still look sick!
+Brandon Bennett it will happen for sure 😎
Panorama turbo lmaoooo

+Todd Hefer I’ll start again just for you! Haha
Is this a review of your face and hairy arms or the car because i see you 95% of the video ?
So you must have enjoyed it.
You talked too much
I don’t think it’s 450whp
Sweet ass ride man!
+shane mcbee thanks buddy!
lol...a 2018 audi s6 w/450 HP is rated above a 2018 BMW M5 with 600 H.P.??? In what universe is that? Even the 2018 M550i is faster and is rated at 260 H.P.
Need to check your sources.. S6 is faster, cheaper and better reliability
the 550 has a fucking v8 dumb fuck
i need to change my underwear. stunning beyond measure
damn that car is 50,000 bucks
+trever pitts +$25,000
Hi
Hi
my dad has this car....
Must be nice to have as much money as you've got 😢
I just bought one for less than 40k!!
Didn't you make a vid 4 months later bitching how much money you lost on the car?
I’m a year in with my S6 - 2018 model. I’ll not lie, it’s not great. Yeah it does 0-60 in just over 4 seconds but that gets boring when you’ve done it a few times. It doesn't have every option it's not even a prestige lol
It’s every option on the car genius.
Oh smelled click-baity. Should've been "Options on my car."
Panorama)))
I'm not fancy enough
4.4 0-60
Audi published figure is 3.9 -
I have achieved 3.5 real world...there is a video of it up.
Again... not using Launch control you get around 4.4... Launch control gets you 3.5-3.8 every time.
Take off the turbo and all wheel drive it’s just a piece of shit
That’s true
And you’ll still get embarrassed on the street or track by a Camaro SS and “flat out” humiliated by a ZL1. But cool car, I guess.
What kind of track? God forbid not one with turns on it...then what would the ZL1 do lmao.
