    Technically and innovatively one of the most distinctive and accomplished blues / R&B harp players of all time. That particular lick - and ease of its delivery - is intimidating. deLay's Oat Bran is a smorgasbord of 10 hole prowess.

      I agree, Paul deLay was the best as far as I'm concerned. Although this lick seems intimidating at first, it's actually not that difficult to play as it's mostly natural notes rather than complex bends. As with anything, it's always best to start slow and build up speed over time.

      @@GobIron I can play that lick but not with the seeming effortlessness and brio that deLay delivers it with.

    my all time favorite player, his vibrato has a sweet sound and full have his emotional sound. Carlo Del Junco has a wonderful vibrato also. Thanks for this breakdown.
