I Remember this Game SEGA, SEGA Rally Championship 1995. Although i'm a 2000s Kid but this Game is Very Nice. This is one of the BEST Arcade Racing 90s. I play this Game in FunWorld Game Center in Malioboro Mall, Yogyakarta City, Indonesia🇮🇩, Southeast Asian.

Ahh, one of my favorite arcade games to play at the mall back in the early 2000s.
Sega Rally has best balance between of real and arcade. My favorite forever.

Used to play this on the Saturn, strange that they would re-release it on the PS2 with no upgrade in graphical fidelity haha...
This is a port from the arcade version and its superior to the Saturn version in graphics and with double the fps...
It looks and plays way better than the saturn.
I cant go back to the saturn version because of the ps2 version.

I completely forgot this port was a thing. How I wished they did Sega Rally 2 too, that was legendary.

HOLY SHIT !!!! You mean that the PS2 can do a more accurate arcade port than a 32-bit console???? I'll be damned.
The Saturn version is still insanely playable to this day. Of course the PS2 version will be arcade perfect, it should be, it’s more powerful than the hardware the game ran on originally ... unlike the Saturn hardware, which is why the Saturn version remains one of the single greatest technical achievements of the 32 bit era.

Virtua Fighter 2 on the other hand that's the real technical achivement for the Saturn

Oh god, here i am being fan of the game, yet I didn't know there was a ps2 ver of it xD.
A 1994 game on ps2? Strange, they could have upgraded to a graphics suitable for ps2. As this game was also released for the sega santurn console, maybe I think about installing the sega emulator for my device to try that game. Since seen in the video, the game seems to bring some interest.

I remember owning this on PC. The cars were far less detailed and more affected by terrain. It was impossible to aim some corners without playing thru game atleast 10 times over

I had no idea they made an arcade port of this game to the PS2. The only Sega Rally title I know of that was on the PS2 was Sega Rally 2006.
Wo wo wo WOOO!! Stop the car! The classic Sega Rally Arcade was on PS2 as well? I thought only Sega Rally 2006, or Sega Rally 3 was the only game that available. The reason is Japan region release only, isn't it?
It was a bonus with some copies of Sega Rally 2006. That game never left Japan to begin with.

Wait, this was on PS2? The graphics are the same as the Arcade (excample, if you played Sega Rally Championship AND Gran Turismo 4, you can see the graphics are very old on Sega Rally, but like, on PS2? I mean, it's great but even so the PSP got Sega Rally too and it looks awesome for the PSP standards

can really not get any similar experience, all software runs very slow, and all hardware makes the 3D Black and White. tried all opengl with all combinations of settings.
Solution was to set threaded rendering to 0. did think 1 was the lowest and could see the more threads the worse it runs
dunno if perfect but a nice port for sure
Pretty much perfect on a real ps2 , 480p looks great on a modern tv

How did you stop it being in black and white? What setting did you use?
You need to use 'Software Mode' (press F9) to fix that mate.
@@xTimelessGaming thanks i just realised you were on SW mode, sadly my PC not able to run this game at full speed on SW, only get about 80% speed, but get full speed on HW (b&W)
