The Saturn version is still insanely playable to this day. Of course the PS2 version will be arcade perfect, it should be, it’s more powerful than the hardware the game ran on originally ... unlike the Saturn hardware, which is why the Saturn version remains one of the single greatest technical achievements of the 32 bit era.
@@SEGAGuys no is not with the draw distance and 30fps which is a sin for the arcade version Virtua Fighter 2 on the other hand that's the real technical achivement for the Saturn
A 1994 game on ps2? Strange, they could have upgraded to a graphics suitable for ps2. As this game was also released for the sega santurn console, maybe I think about installing the sega emulator for my device to try that game. Since seen in the video, the game seems to bring some interest.
I remember owning this on PC. The cars were far less detailed and more affected by terrain. It was impossible to aim some corners without playing thru game atleast 10 times over

can really not get any similar experience, all software runs very slow, and all hardware makes the 3D Black and White. tried all opengl with all combinations of settings.

It was a bonus with some copies of Sega Rally 2006. That game never left Japan to begin with.

I had no idea they made an arcade port of this game to the PS2. The only Sega Rally title I know of that was on the PS2 was Sega Rally 2006.

can really not get any similar experience, all software runs very slow, and all hardware makes the 3D Black and White. tried all opengl with all combinations of settings.
Solution was to set threaded rendering to 0. did think 1 was the lowest and could see the more threads the worse it runs

You need to use 'Software Mode' (press F9) to fix that mate.
