Geez.... I need a separate savings account that my wife can't see for this stuff. ;-) Great job on the video guys! Thanks for sharing.
Jason Mohlman I started out with a Marauder pistol then got an FX Verminator mark 2Extreme. Buy the FX you won't regret it. If you need to find the money do what I did, sell off the conventional firearms you don't shoot that often. The cost of the PCP's is all in the front end once you're set up shooting i.e. Pellets are cheap.
Never thought I'd say, just suck it up, but for what I've spent on the Marauder, and then buying an Impact, the Dreamline is a great in-between gun that gives all the accuracy of the $2000 gun. Wish it had been available when I bought the Impact, might have saved me a few $$
Just take her to the range with HER new Dreamline!...Then its, "Honey, do ya mind if I borrow your Dreamline (after you have made her dinner) ?" YES, I've been there, done that!

With 500 O - RINGS to replace / service and a sticky trigger , I dont see legendary here . I see buyers remorse after a few years I am having second thoughts about getting this rifle ... Anyway nice and informative video .
I was all set on the Air Arms S510 and this gun got me re-thinking . Having to buy additional $60 smaller magazines to avoid the high giraffe rings is a deal breaker. Why not offer a choice ? Great Video and glad you pointed that out.
Its interesting that my .22 cal Streamline is putting out about 29.56 fpe and a shot count of 60 before going off the regulator. That's with a 190cc air reservoir. I wonder why the Dreamline with a 250cc reservoir is not getting more shots per fill. Anyway the Dreamline's adjustability and ability to switch calibers will make it great choice for many airgunners.
GunPowder&AirPower good question, twofold answer: the heavier hammer weight that will be in the shipped models will raise the shot count and power (more efficient use of air and balance to the reg / hammer balance) and the new adjustable AMP regulator takes up more space than the old non-adjustable refs found in the Streamline. Hope this helps clarify
@@FXAirguns Thanks so much for the reply. I thought that AMP regulator might be bigger contributing to less air capacity. As an owner of three FX rifles I really appreciate FX's innovation, continuing improvement to products and attention to customer questions like here.
I was excited to see these after the teasers for it almost a year ago. I am far from let down on the quality and performance. I think this, decent scope, and the new air venturi compressor can get you in at around $2k but the performance is worth it. Now if I could just afford that $2k.... Guess the QB78 stays in use a bit longer.
I have a .177 synthetic 2021 one. Its a bit different to the one on here but not by much and even being just under the UK 12 ftlb limit its pellet on pellet in no wind conditions at 50 yds. I love it. Was £995
Would like to see it with a collapsible stock for back pack transportation.... nevermind. I see the tactical stock can be removed. They really have thought of everything.
It would be nice if you had mentioned how the transfer port, hammer spring tension, and regulator pressure were set before showing us a string of fps values. I have a Dreamline arriving this week, and I plan to chronograph all my pellets (from 14.3gr to 25.89gr) at all hammer spring tensions before deciding which to use and at what setting. I'll have to make notes for future reference, and then start on accuracy testing.
FX finally, after having it 2 times, got my Streamline squared away. I think I'll wait to see just what early adopters find in the Dreams. Great presentation as always!!!
when a rifle comes with power adjustment, as does the Dreamline, it would be nice if the reviewers actually shot a string in each power level to let the viewer know the power levels and shot counts. They do not need to do on screen but have a graph or something put up to show us. it would be usefull info as perhaps power level 2 may shoot at 800fps woith 14.5 grain pellets and get far more shots, but yet still have more than enough power for vermin control on the farm etc.
If the Dreamline came in .30 cal and the barrels and air tubes could be swapped out for different calibers and air capacities... When that happens please let me know.
Hey I've got a question for you guys as well I have got a FX dreamline 22 caliber rifle and I was thinking they were advertising that the ex Barrel was not as picky as the old one but this guy I'm sure is the only pellet it seems to like is a 15.89 grain JSP and the Hades call it everything else shoots out of it about a quarter to a nickel-sized Group but I was thinking the ex Barrel supposed to have been better I have found another pellet that the gun seems to like just to let everybody know it is a 13.43 grain Falcon pellet for some reason this gun seems not to like anything over 16 grains I don't know why
The AMP regulator can handle higher pressures than the previous regulator, and while we haven't had a chance to play with it much we assume that 50 fpe is within its capabilities.
At the end of Ted HoldOver’s review of the Dreamline, he mention the Dreamline Base, which is just the receiver, barrel, and air reservoir. Is that also going to be available?
To change the barrel caliber, you need to change more than just the liner. A caliber kit comes with the barrel liner, barrel housing, shroud, and probe. You just need to buy the magazine separately.
Are the triggers on fx airguns supposed to be able to spin around? I have an fx streamline and after each shot i have to turn the trigger to face forward.
Connor, there’s a screw on the trigger allows for the placement of the trigger shoe to be adjusted. Sounds like that screw has loosened and just needs tightening.
@@FXAirguns How should i tighten it? It seems like the trigger guard is in the way. And also which screw is it? There is one behind the trigger that looks loose. Thanks
