When to trade BIG and when to trade SMALL

- The term progressive exposure in trading refers to the progressive increase or decrease in position size.
Often counter intuitive, new traders progressively increase their trade size after a series of bad trades trying to recoup their losses, when in fact the opposite should happen.
Position size should reflect the market environment which often correlates to the traders performance. Progressive exposure, up or down is a dynamic approach that should be applied to your trading.

U must be a losing trader

I'd like to clarify one point.
Every time a position is closed and generates profits, taxes are due.
Also, even if it's a small amount, entering and exiting a position costs fees.
The buy and hold solution has this argument in its favor. As it is never mentioned, it loses its relevance.
How can we take this parameter into account in simulations?

It's because my style is long. I trade with probability i,e with the trend which is biased to the upside.
@@danman1287 No offense, but there are a lot of incredibly successful investors who are long only. There are plenty of other methods available for trading that don't require going short.

Video was great, audio not so much. Not sure how u edit your audio, but u need to add a limiter. Or maybe your initial recording was blown out from bad settings.
You should invest in 32 bit recording tech, makes a huge difference to avoid clipping. Then crank up the volume and throw on a limiter. Almost always have perfect audio.

first rime i learned progressive exposure in mark minervini book Trade like stock market champion then searched more about it and learned more about that. progressive exposure gives you a very good vision on what is market condition and how u should act in that time. it helps you to be aggressive when market is healthy and play defensive when market is choppy. as usual tnx for the content. u really help traders around the world.
