Xiaomi has nice processing in terms of not oversharpening shots but they tend to oversaturate colors more. This can be toned down in photos but the video appears highly oversaturated and it's harder to edit it in post.
I know iPhone is going to use a bigger sensor in iPhone 15 ultra or pro Max what may be, but I always prefer android phones as it's not only much cheaper but also more usable software. However any day I prefer Samsung over Xioami for their silly software update and bad customer support.

Color contrast is a big problem for example take a image early morning afternoon and evening we need that natural tone exactly as it is no warm or boost colour

Difference was enough for me, Xiaomi is way better at night. Also in most scenarios details or not, even in daylight I like how natural the pictures look, those details are just sharpening to me. Even in the the 50mp raw mode...
...true, but I looked at my photos going back 15+ years, and only a handful were in low-light. For many of us, night-time photos (without a light source) are rare. It seems creators want to push night photography as daytime photos and videos are now brilliant on all flagships.
I had the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and I loved the camera. It wasnt perfect. Focus was hit and miss and sometimes it just got colours way wrong, especially when photographing my red car. I ended up going back to iPhone because I prefer iOS but I still miss that camera. The iPhone 13 Pro (my current phone) still has a decent camera but definitely not as good as the Mi 11 Ultra. Hopefully Apple will sort out their overprocessing of photos in the iPhone 15 Pro and get closer to what Xiaomi is able to do.

Xiaomi has a little better camera, arguably better display/screen, better battery overall ( iPhone 14 Pro Max battery does last longer than Xiaomi's but still a larger battery & much faster charging). Besides, Xiaomi 13 ultra will cost lower than IPhone 14 Pro Max (I think Xiaomi 13 Ultra will cost around ₹ 80,000/ $1,000 whereas IPhone 14 Pro Max costs around ₹ 1,30,000 - ₹ 2,00,000/ $ 1, 300 - $ 1,700). So, Xiaomi 13 ultra is a much better deal than IPhone 14 Pro Max
Wow, this is the first time seeing you review xiaomi lol... well I gotta say, although xiaomi smartphones seem like they're getting better and better over the years, which I do appreciate, their flagship ones are all outrageously overpriced in Europe and UK, here in China, we can buy a brand new 16+1TB xiaomi13 ultra with CNY 6999 (about 800 pounds in UK), that's exactly the same price as the 8+256GB samsung s23+, ofc CNY 6999 is definitely not budget-friendly at all but, if you're to offer these 2 options to anyone who can afford to buy such expensive smartphones here, 99.99% of them would go for the xiaomi, the only obvious shortcomings that the xiaomi13 ultra has, which do matter to me, are, it doesn't have google mobile service pre-installed, it's also lacking useful features like bixby routine and samsung dex, other than those 3, it's beating the s23+ in every single major spec

Nice comparison, but that you compared night Video 30 fps vs 60 fps is pretty unprofessional imo. Xiaomi did an outstanding job with their camera system. If it wasn't for its crappy software it could really be one of the greatest Flagship Android Phones.
Xiaomi was definitely better with the back cameras, but the front camera on the Xiaomi kinda sucked. The video was absolutely horrendous for such an expensive phone that boasts so much about its image quality. That's a deal breaker for me 🤷🏽♂️
In some cases you seem to highlight certain benefits of using xiaomi camera, while (un)deliberately not noticing pretty noticeable xiaomi post processing highlights. Especially around 10:50 you say that iphone looks like noisy mess, although xiaomi just looks as a crappy snapchat filter applied on top of a normal picture. If we were to compare both against “dslr”, noisy crap is what we would see from a dslr in low light case. Last, I find it funny that xiaomi’s large sensor does not seem to provide any benefit to dynamic range overall, I would expect it to have some advantage due to more light being sample. P.s. If you seriously consider investing into top-notch phone for camera, in 2023 it would just make sense to purchase a solid dslr/mirrorless camera and learn how to process pictures yourself. This way you would get unique high quality results that do not rely on some factory presetting you see on both of these phones

Android phones are not cheap! S23 Ultra starts at 1200$ compared to iPhone 14 Pro Max at 1100$. iPhone is 100$ cheaper.

iPhone was set to 4k60 but automatically switched to 30, because of the AutoFps Low Light setting, which is enabled by default.

@@CHTFilms yes I don't want to buy this phone for selfie Samsung s23 is more better than this even we can shoot 4k in all of it's camera there's much better software experience with Dex we can use it like a pc but this vivo is not worth to buy for it's price range....

Good optics but another too smartphonish digital look, compared to xiaomi ultra its not even close, one (samsung) is topping digital smartshit look, and the other is trying to look authentic and it even has an authentic profile which is configured by Leica.
