To be honest it's proper impressive you battled through all that, through illness, miserable conditions and your mind getting negative as well, there must have been something strong in there somewhere pushing you through 🎉 very interesting journey!
Look who’s back! Your insight and style is unique. Miss the golf videos too. I wish you’d upload more. Also, you make me feel damn lazy with all the sports you’re still playing. 👍
Well done Rob! That End of Year Resolution truly inspiring 🎉 So what's the New Year's Resolution looking like? Hopefully we'll see more of you on the fairways 🏌️⛳
Good challenge buddy. I am very proud of your dedication and discipline. To be fair - having a set running time does help a bit more. How did you cut yourself playing table tennis? Can we have a video on that?
Nice vid Rob. Very hard training in anything during Uk winter. How’s the golf coming along. I’m sure I saw a club in that room your were in at the start of the video:)
Great film.. running every day challenge in December is a lot tougher than doing it in the summer.. it’s still a great challenge to go out every day.. as much mental as physical..my motto is “ to venture out of your comfort zone is daunting.. but it’s always a worthwhile journey if it done with gratitude”..👏👏
Nice to see you again Rob, I ran 5K once, worst year of my life so well done you for doing it in a day. I'm of to Ilfracombe tomorrow for a round with my new Eleven hybrids so wish me luck.
My good friend was in the paras for 15 years and rowed the Atlantic twice, he always said,"Your not training unless its raining"! Good to see you back.
Good to see you back; props for sticking with your running even when you didn't want to. Do you have access to an indoor gym or track? This helped me with getting into routine exercising as the indoor track and equipment were always available regardless of the weather outdoors. It can be hard to get motivated but I try to remind myself that I'm allowed to go light or take a break when I need to (so long as I don't turn it into a habit of slacking), and that my general wellbeing is usually better when I get a solid workout in. Mixing it up to keep it different helps too!
8 minutes per mile that is crazy man if you have just started running. That would be around 4.45/km. I have been running for a month and I do 8.5km everyday and my pace is only 6:08 minutes/km usually. The best I got was 5:45/km When I go for long run like 12-13 km run my pace is then 6:35 to 6:40 minutes per km. I am so demotivated now. What am I doing wrong. :(

Thanks, just didn't want to give up on something I'd set out to do!

Hoping to get some golf vids out soon. Would like to upload more often, it's just finding the time!
Sounds awesome. I hope you have a great year. @@RobMcGarr

All good thanks mate, down to 3.3 now which is lowest yet. Main thing is I'm enjoying it!

Enjoy! I keep meaning to get over there for a knock, will have to do it this year.
Welcome back Rob - interesting video!

You're not doing anything wrong! If you've only been running for a month you will improve massively just by keeping going 💪
I’m doing the same 😅
It’s a nice relatively easy distance that gets the heart pumping imho
I’m doing it to try and lower my blood pressure
Did your vo2max increase this December month?
Nice work mate. Enjoyed that one
Good effort through Dec pal 👏 how are the barefoots holding up? Soles on my trail version wore out fast. I'm going for Feb 🫶 bloody leap year.
Thanks mate. They've seen better days but still holding on!
@@RobMcGarr how many miles have you racked up in them❓
Not sure why I keep laughing at this video, I couldn’t do this to myself😂 I loved watching it though 🙌
So strange, I checked if you had posted any videos recently just yesterday. Hope you’re doing well mate 👍
Channeling your inner David Goggins there 😂
WHO'S GONNA CARRY THE BOATS?
@@RobMcGarr 🤣🤣
Where’s the dressing gown from?
You can borrow it when you're next down.
well done. I also miss your golf vids.
Good video. I think a month of 5 pints of bitter per day would be easier. Plenty of exercise of the right arm
Thank you for reminding me why i dont go running 😂
😂 it’s good sometimes 🤷♂️
@@RobMcGarr I never get passed that 4 day slump
Bro where's the golf grind videos? Come on man, don't give it up. GRIND that shit.
Playing and practising plenty, videos on the way!
😂😂 I tried this wearing barefoot
Shoes & pulled my calf
Yeah I switched from Vivos halfway through the month!
