Great movie, wish it got remastered with better gun noises. Great moments of tension building toward mediocre sounding gun shots. The trailer even adds a modern effect to show how much better it is.

I was thinking the same thing when I watched this trailer. I'm getting The Great Silence on Blu Ray this week and I can't wait to see it.
I think Great Silence is more of a revision of el Dorado, especially the end.
