The baby in the box got so excited to see you when the lights turned on!
It was terrified
@@negritotenfold
Wrong !! There is NO bird afraid of this man. Hush. 🤨.

@@negritotenfold No animal will ever be afraid of this guy
@@negritotenfold not really
Newborn pigeons are high up on my personal list of "Ugliest thing in the world". Thats a face only a mother could love. But here we are... seemingly all his mother.
Pigeons are not cute hatchlings but rapidly grow up to be pretty birds.
Check out a baby barn owl. From the absolute ugliest hatchling to one of the most beautiful birds on earth. 💕🦋
For a moment I thought you had a problem here
@@judykinsman3258
Some birds really give the meaning to "glow up" when it comes to puberty XD
Birds are pretty scary as babies, don't matter the breed, luckily, they don't usually take too long to fledge and show off their beautiful plumage.
The crazy flapping and wanting to get out of the box when the lights turned on is adorable
Those flying exercises absolutely melted my heart
Weeeeee
mine too!
My dog just passed away yesterday and I'm devastated. This was heartwarming and uplifting to watch. Keep it up.
Thank you so much everyone for the kind words. Grieving is hard but with the right company you can make it through 🙏🏻❤️
I'm so sorry for your loss, it's so hard when we lose our furry companions.
@@ellism72 It is really tough to get by after getting too attached. Thank you for the kind words.
From one fur baby parent to another, my deepest condolences. I lost one of my two loving kitties in March this year unexpectedly, and something that helped me get through it was what a coworker had said: "No matter how long we have them in our lives, it's never long enough." Take solace in the fact that your gave your dog a life full of love and happiness no matter how long or little you were together, and that death is not good-bye forever. It's only for a little while.
@NatYourAverageNerd Thank you, and I'm also sorry for your loss. I'm glad you were able to get through. Having loving people to be there for you during hard times really helps. Unfortunately, I wish I could say the same. But when Bruno was sick, my boyfriend dumped me, and around the same time, my dad was told he has to be admitted to the hospital for a back surgery. A day before Bruno passed away, I called my ex because I needed him to help me through it, and he agreed, but then he ghosted me. Sorry for the rant, but I'm just angry 😅
My deep condolences, big hugs
He’s so careful with the baby birds it’s so cute :))
their bones are so so fragile
From what I've seen, doves are some of the most loving birds someone can have. Cherish that little boy.
Pigeons*
The boys can be pretty bossy though but they are very smart and cute
I have 6, I can absolutely attest to this. They're very sweet birds. ❤
@@spacedrakesdoves, pigeons: same birds, different names.
@@spacedrakes Pigeons are also officially known as Rock Doves. So calling them a dove isn't really wrong.
I love the flying Albert gave the chick from early on . This video made my morning 😊
Alwyn, is his name.
Albert was a quail he hatched from long ago.
I mentally added airplane noises, like a parent does for their kid~😅
Aw that's a cool name! Now I know the bird guy's name is Alwyn!
5:55 He's got a great sense of direction !! I burst out laughing at the flying lessons.
Same LOL
I saw him turning with his wings and kept going, "Weeee!" during those bits. XD
What a miracle this little one is! 10 years is a long time waiting - congratulations, this is a great success - and a very pretty pigeon too!
Another precious life saved by this incredible gentleman ❣️
The pigeon when he took the egg off the top of the cage..' Look after my baby now'..kind of look. So precious. ❤
This Dutch eggman is my favorite.
So lovely, dad had pigeons from the age of about eight to the day he passed away at 74. Seeing this young one brings such lovely memories to mind.
That little baby dinosaur deserves lots of love! 😊😊
You're the backyard David Attenborough!
I had a pigeon that lived on the front porch. He used to fly after the car when we left, but then fly back home. I loved that pigeon.
Every life is a miracle. Every life is important. This charming pigeon has made me smile! Thank you for all the positive energy you put into the world!
What a treat to see a new video first thing in the morning from my favorite bird man. Beautiful bird! Handsome and loving man!
Your videos make my world bright up. Thank you
Are you broke or something
@@negritotenfold no I am an animal lover who do not have the time and opportunity to do what he does
@@negritotenfoldwhat a strange question. Why?
That bird has got to be the CUTEST THING I'VE EVEN SEEN
I was in floods of happy tears when I first saw that tiny heartbeat. ❤ The expressions on your face when you are caring for him is pure bliss. I've raised pigeons found in house attics and blown out of nests. Those first weeks are nerve-wracking. Thank you for being so caring xxx
Good, then you will have experience. Isn't it better to have the formula in a container for the baby to insert its beak to drink? I read many years ago that pigeons actually make a substance in their crop that is the closest a bird can get to making milk, hence "pigeon milk," and that they feed their young by having them stick their beaks down the parents' throats to drink the "milk.". It always makes me so nervous to see him syringe feed the babies. I get that it's necessary, but wonder if it would have been easier for them both if the baby could have drunk the formula.
I raised a mourning dove years ago. I put the formula in a pen cap. The dove would probe around with his beak until he found the spot, plunge the tip of his beak in, and gulp down the formula. He was eyes open when I found him, if that makes a difference.
@bernadettecartin In my experience every baby bird had been a couple of days old at most and had to fed by opening their miniscule precious mouths. It can appear somewhat brutal to see but is a vital step for their survival. Gradually you have to thicken the mixture as the baby grows. I was always the most nervous when changing from liquid to solid seeds.
@@bramble-nicky Thanks for your reply.
Btw, I don't think it's brutal. It just looks so risky for aspiration pneumonia.
@@bramble-nicky Also I thought I was clear but will specify I was only speaking of feeding pigeons/doves regarding letting them insert beak to drink. I've also done a couple of robins and had a chimney swift for a few days, and they were all gape-mouth feeders. Even a freshly hatched bird should be able to thrust its head up and gape so the parent can insert food. I'm guessing yours were too weak when found and needed to have their beaks opened to be fed until they got stronger?
@@bernadettecartin Indeed the ones I cared for were too weak to keep their heads up for food. Currently I'm keeping an eye on a robin's nest. Thank you for being so caring with our tiny feathered friends xx
I am so happy when there is a new film from you - in this destructive world you bring hope. Thank you
Shout out to all the good humans out there.
I love seeing the joy and love in your face with these birds.
The way he reacted to you opening that box felt like he waited ten years for YOU!
Love how when you first tried feeding him he's just like " daaaaaaad! Let me sleeeep!" Lol
Birds are amazing. They're beautiful, and the physics behind their flight are a marvel.
What a cute little thing! How could anyone not love this sweet baby! I was laughing hard when baby ran after you on the floor trying to catch up! 😊🙏🙏🙏🥰 God bless you and what you do! You are a miracle worker! ❤
You have inspired me to save birds! Now, thank God, I have been able to take care of more than 20 birds and set them free again 🥹🎉 Thank you for having a big heart! God bless you 🫠🦢🦚🦜🐓🐣🐤
well, hopefully you don't imprint on them if you're raising them as chicks otherwise, they can't be released.
@@nonothingnever Nope, Before releasing them I make sure they are fit to live a wild life, I only have one bluebird that I raised since a baby and he wanted to stay hahaha 🤣🎉🥰

Beautiful looking feathers and markings. Luv from RSA. ❤
To think this little lovely could have been thrown away. How wonderful you cared and gave her / him life
Pigeons / doves are such beautiful birds, really underappreciated! This little one was really adorable
That teeny, tiny heartbeat!!
Al, you ALWAYS become fond of these precious creatures! 🤭 They’re your passion. I’d have to wonder if you DIDN’T have a special place in your heart for them all.
What a fast little bugger when it runs! 🥹
I love the way that you loving birds 🥰❤️
The flying exercise was so amusing and the way he filmed it was excellent. Best channel on TH-cam!
Your videos are so good and how you care for the pigeon since it hatched is so damn cute
Also, a few years back I was at my grandparents pool and when I jumped in I saw something white in the skimmer box 😅 When I told my mom, carefully opened the skimmer box and found a bunny! At first we didn’t know what to do, but I thought it needed to be warmed up! So when my mom ran to get some towels, I blew on the little thing like you do! After the bunny fell asleep in my arms, we wrapped it in the towel and called a friend who looks after all sorts of rabbits and bunnies! We named the bunny marshmallow
That's great. I love people who just plain CARE. Stay that way. ❤.
How can one not be amazed with nature and the beginning of life. This is so cool and beautiful! Congratulations.

Thank you, again and again. And happy mother's day! :)
I hope we see more of this pigeon. Congratulations on your success.
Baby pigeons are so helpless. I just love them. I have raised so many.
Every life is so precious. I wish people watched more videos like this and realized the value and sentience of animals. As a 'civilized ' society, we have really failed. I love this man, his kind heart and his value and respect for animal life. It's truly beautiful.
I agree - and must add that human life as well - is a life at any stage and should be protected and allowed to flourish - just like these sweet birds but even more so
I've watched you and albert from the start. Your videos are always the best!
I been watching your videos for a long time❤ and you inspired me to take care of animals too! Bless you guys ❤❤

I have always loved raising pigeons and doves. They are so expressive and affectionate.
Those flying exercises had me giggle :D Such a pretty bird!
You can see in the animals he raises and his own face how much love there is.
He was lucky to have met you because you gave him a chance to see this world 👍🏼👍🏼
He is so happy to see you when you opened up his cover lid. I believe all animals know we love them and they love us back 💙💙
What a beautiful story. Blessings to you for your patience and never giving up on your dream.
Such a cutie handsome man! Hahaha mom and dad still did their business in apart cages 😂😂😂😂
LOL He was so happy to see you when those lights came on! What a cutie!
Thank-you for showing pigeons love! Hilarious that you went to pigeon shows to "steal" pigeon eggs. 😂
The pretend flying you did with the baby was adorkable. Thank-you for the amount of care, attention to detail, and love you put into raising animals, especially birds.
I have a West of England Tumbler pigeon, and she's my best friend! We are attached at the hip and I take her everywhere with me. She just laid her very first [infertile] eggs this week (Monday and Wednesday). She's almost two years old.
