The orange fish are called Garibaldi and are very common. They are actually a type of damsel fish, just much bigger. We have done a bit of scuba diving in that area and you see hundreds of them underwater. So beautiful.
I'm glad to hear your very positive review of Holland America and your experience for 21 days because we will be on the Koningsdam, a Pinnacle Class ship, for 35 days in February. Our longest cruise was on Celebrity Silhouette for 19 days in Europe which was very port intensive while our HAL cruise has many sea days. I get the impression that HAL will have activities to keep us amused and busy for that length of time and the Music Walk is a big draw for us. As you said, and others, the food is very good, which is important to us and we're looking forward to the 4 Specialty Dining restaurants. So interesting to see the bison. I was wondering if you would consider doing an overview/rating/wrap up of the lines you’ve visited going to Alaska please. Rating from top to bottom for food, families, entertainment, excursions, ports etc. It would be interesting to hear it all combined now that you’ve done all cruise lines 😊
Garibaldi will grow much bigger than those little ones. Should Dee ever SCUBA, Catalina was the favorite place to dive for my uncle who owned a dive shop
