- Join me on an awe-inspiring adventure as I embark on a thrilling climb to the summit of an unknown majestic mountain top in Phetchaburi, Thailand. Little did I know what awaited me would be a breathtaking and exhilarating surprise beyond my wildest imagination. This is one of the best hikes in Phetchaburi province and can be done as a day trip from locations such as Bangkok, Hau Hin, Cha-am, Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi.

I’d seen that mountain so many times and looked up in awe. I even asked about going up it at the Temple below a few years ago so was happy to find out that they have established a route up and put up ropes. Glad you never videod the way down lol. I suffered! Cheers
Thanks, Karl. I wouldn't have been able to video the way down anyhow, I was to busy holding onto the rocks and trying not to twist my ankles. lol.
You are a beast my friend, but the views were amazing….love to watch your videos Brian, wish I could still make those climbs but I think that part of my life has passed me by😆🤣
Thanks, Mauihowey. Yes, the views were awesome. There are plenty of smaller climbs like this not far from where you stay, we should do one together some time.
Another brilliant video, Brian! Love your enthusiasm... matched only by the breathtaking scenery! Thanks for sharing. Den.
Thanks, Den. Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice vid and great views...
Thanks, CJ.
Nice video,it's a lot more challenging than it looks for sure, the stairs weren't there last year, was 1 step forward 2 steps back in the dirt so glad to see they been built, well done guys.👍
Yes, it was a lot more challenging tha I thought it would be. I didn't manage to visit the cave on the trip but will try to do it next time.
@baldybrian the cave is definitely worth a visit,it's great views from the other side and no crawling on knees involved 😀 more pigeons than bats.
Looked like an ankle scraper.
Looked a tough one we'll done
Yes, it's very sharp rock so a few scrapes did happen, Anthony. I almost twisted my ankle a couple of times, too. It was quite tough but very enjopyable, especially seeing thbe views at the top.
