That looks like this past Monday. I put in at the 150 bridge and went into McCrary Creek to get out of the wind. It did not help much and by 9:30 I was pulling the boat out and headed home. Trying it again in the morning.
I’ve been having the same experience on these very windy days. Conventional wisdom says to throw your cranks, a rigs, spinnerbaits, but I’ve only had success with finesse…and you can only throw ‘em in between short breaks from being blown in circles. Incredibly frustrating.

It's been brutal, very tough to deal with the wind especially in a kayak.
Dang it was really windy! You caught some nice ones though!

Make a good cast and be able to fish it for 3 seconds until you have to completely circle back around. Very frustrating.
Great video. I need to gain more confidence in the wind myself. I tend to run from it lol
A bit of wind is great but what we've had lately is much more than a bit of wind. It's been frustrating.
Are you fishing norman any this week or weekend?
Yeah I'll be out there on Saturday fishing a tournament.
