- Hey guys in this video I'm answering a question submitted about how to go into marriage without carrying guilt and shame from our sexual past, how to remove sexual perversion from marriage, and how to allow the Lord to heal and redeem our past! this is a timely word! i’m still struggling with sexual sin but i’m praying for forgiveness, i went through deliverance, and i made the decision to turn away from all sexual sin. i’m 22 years old in this generation where a lot of people are making sex something it was not created to be…so thank you for this word. I was engaged to a lovely brother, whom I loved deeply. The Lord showed me in a dream he was deep in pornography. Despite my love, I broke off relationship but he IS being discipled by wise and strong pastor. A man of God. I'm believing for reconciliation after lengthy break up. God delivered me from fornication.& porn and more. He will do the same for exfiance. He does want to overcome this addiction. Pray for us.

We meet outside in public space. As far as porn...I used to watch it but the Lord convicted me. These are broken people being used by Satan. I pray for people in sex addiction. It's very serious. If the Lord delivered me, He will certainly do it for you.
Why did y’all break up?? I don’t understand? l mean, why not praying together in order to free him from this sin, I believe your faith, your love and support would have been real help for him. Been almost 7 months free from a 15 year porn addiction and God is great. call it testosterone or the perversion of the world arousals can be so annoying when trying to be celibate and trying to quit masturation has been insanely tough. Better than compared months ago but praying can be free from it.
Hey Starlen. God delivered me from lust, and I know that He's gonna deliver you too. I've found the below prayers to be really helpful, got them from a deliverance minister named Don Dickerman.
1. Permission breaking prayer: to be said by the subject
Father I thank you for Jesus, He is my saviour. I'm so glad to be born again. I qualify for freedom and I receive it by faith today. And because you've forgiven me, I choose to forgive others. Everyone who's hurt me, lied to me or disappointed me, I choose to forgive them. I repent of anger, bitterness, resentment, hatred rebellion, jealousy, envy, strife, revenge, lust, witchcraft, and idolatry. I confess all of them. I denounce the sins of my ancestors. I separate myself and cut myself off from all generational curses. I renounce all unholy oaths, vows, pledges and ceremonies and remove myself from those curses. I denounce and confess as sin all unholy soul ties, for Jesus is my saviour and my Lord. I choose to be free and I will be free in the name of Jesus!!
2. Deliverance prayer: to be said by the minister (you can also minister upon yourself by saying it yourself)
In the name of Jesus Christ, every demon power under the sound of my voice, you're under the authority of the living resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. You will not only come out, you will not come back, you will not send others to replace you, you will put everything back in order and the healing will come because of the blood from the stripes on Jesus Christ's back, that very blood will bring healing. Every demon power, pick up your works, all the residue of your works and you come out right now and go into the abyss in the name of Jesus. That's the command of Jesus Christ!!
Thank you for creating this video. I suffer from so much sexual shame and trauma in my past. I’m married and have shared my trauma with my husband but I feel so much guilt/shame. Thank you for sharing the soul ties prayer. This is exactly what I needed. God bless you!
Christ has forgiven you. You must forgive yourself and not allow Satan to torment and shame you.
My wife revealed her promiscuous past to me after 20 years of marriage. We are both Christians however, this news has negatively impacted our marriage. She also informed me that this is why our intimacy has suffered for so long.
God forgives however, there will always be consequences to our choices in life. Most men will not marry a woman who has shared with him that she had a promiscuous past. (There are significant reasons for this that I don’t have time to share in this post.)
This vital news was not revealed to me ahead of time. There was also an abort…. baby that I wasn’t aware of. I say all of this to say, be honest about your sexual past with your partner “before” you get married so “they” can count the cost and decide if they want to enter a marriage where intimacy issues will definitely be an issue.
There was a time I used to flirt with my wife and we would exchange gifs from porn scenes and talk about sex we would find a porn scene that's kinda showing what we talking about and we would watch it. Now watching together doesn't make it better, it hit me one day and I called her immediately and tell her we are Christians and don't think we should be watching porn or using it to flirt I don't want to bring that into our marriage and that was the end of it. we have never flirted like that again or watched porn. The desire does come to watch porn at times because I love sex. But one thing that makes it easier for me is that I notice that the enemy uses it to hinder my relationship with God. So I try to stay as far as I can from it.

I know this whole waiting until you are married is very touchy but there has to be some passion before you are married. Because I Got married and waited to be with my beautiful wife t I waited and waited 9 years later nothing happen, I was devasted and had to move on, I am single and still believe That waiting is ok and that being with someone sexual is Holy, but I believe you have passion somewhere before you get married and after marriage, it is the one thing that separates you from just becoming roommates.

I'm Muslim and even in our community this is a big problem. And I hate to say it but many women who have past sexual experiences, instead of confronting that trauma seek to predatorily bring others down. For those who struggled, for those who atone, we stand with your brothers and sisters
I'm muslim too and while mercy can be found in the Lord's love, I feel there is very little mercy from the community. Its hurtful that I can't find a video from a muslim woman speaking on this because of how little tolerance there is or space held for muslim women who struggle with having a past. You are right, Sarah. A past that looks pure does not mean you are free of sin and temptation. When we have already made our mistakes, however, we do have a chance to come back to truth and never look back exactly because of those mistakes, and for that we finally can know better. I turned away from my own sin for years and now I am finally healing and I am grateful. Hi Sarah! :) I *LOVED* this video! I saw it while I was on vacation on the hotel TV. I wanted to respond/comment on it as soon as I saw this video but I couldn't. There was an unrecognized sign in in my email so Google asked if I wanted to change my password. So I did. The scripture you shared Gen 2:25 both naked /not ashamed...... how real that applies, when my wife and I were starting to go into a divorce she would not dress in front of me, she would hide, close doors, go into the bathroom to change, she had become ashamed.

Thank you for this video and your other videos! This channel has blessed me and made me think a lot. I am in a serious relationship right now and my boyfriend and I are thinking of getting married. My boyfriend is just getting to know Jesus and it's nice getting to see him fall in love with God and relish time spent with him. However, he is not taking sexual sin as serious as I would like. I have been a Christian for 8 years, but struggle a lot with self control and religiosity. This is my first relationship and unfortunately, we've been sexually active since we began dating. As he's gotten to know God, it's more frequent that he doesn't want to do anything sexual, but whenever we do sin, he bounces back so quick (within minutes) and just says its because he knows God has forgiven him and knows he's weak and doesn't want to beat himself up over it. Whereas, I struggle with feeling so guilty for not obeying God even as he blesses me and pours grace over my life. For me, it feels like abusing His grace. I think my boyfriend is partially right but also that he abuses God's grace. I don't want him to feel like he is being judged but it's gotten to a point where I don't even want to see him a lot so I won't fall into sin because it seems like he takes it so lightly. So my question is, what should I do if my boyfriend is not leading me to remain pure sexually, but leads me to grow in almost all other areas? I know you are busy so I appreciate if you are able to respond
"Don't give the devil a foothold" Stop sinning, put boundaries that are simply not crossed. Crisis either makes a man or breaks a man. It applies to yourself as well as your boyfriend.
I would def communicate to him. There is a difference between guilt and shame. It is a healthy thing to feel guilty for doing something wrong, but obviously you don’t want to live in that Shane day in a day out. The best thing you can do is communicate your boundaries with your bf. If you love him and he loves you, you will feel safe knowing he’ll respect your decision and want what’s best for your relationship.
You never have to be afraid to do what’s right……you got this, girl ♥️
Also, Idk if you’re catholic, but going to confession is SO FREEING Aand truly is a sacrament ordained by God for our healing.

Hi girl, thank you for your video, sharing something so personal takes a lot of courage. I just wanted to please ask you to be very careful about “soul ties” at first, it really spoke to me, I thought, wow this is exactly what happened to me, I wanted to know more, so I started looking it up to see the biblical basis for it, sadly I found non. I encourage you to put it into prayer, you have a big following and the things you speak of in the name of the Lord must have a biblical basis so that the people that listen to you don’t get confused.
Hey! Thanks for sharing! Just wanted to confirm this is the first time you’ve heard of soul ties since watching my video? :) I’ll link a video below explaining soul ties, but this is a topic that is debated sometimes amongst Christian’s just like so many other topics in the bible. Whether or not our souls are actually knit together I can’t say, but the breaking of soul ties is just repentance for any sins committed in the relationship (i.e sex before marriage - the bible says the two become one) forgiving the other person (which the bible calls us to forgive others as he forgives us) and renouncing any vows or ungodly relationships we partnered with. I think soul ties are linked to what the Bible says "Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”, 1 Corinthians 6:16

@@noniphelembe4719 hi, I thought the same, then I realized thought reading the scripture, that the flesh (body) is not the same as the soul, we as humans are made of 3 very distinct parts: body, soul and spirit (Thessalonians 5:23), of course they all interact with one another but they are individual at the same time, so it’s not your soul that is being tied up to another but rather, as the scripture says, your body that becomes one with the other person, that is why I believe that this soul tie concept might not be biblical. However, I understand that it is a very debated subject.

Lol it's such a coincidence how I shared with my pastor and other church folk literally 4 days ago about soul ties and I got so much backlash. I was bold enough to say that I had experienced it's effects and God had delivered me from it. I can say that it's something that seems completely unbelievable to any believer or even unbeliever who hasn't gone through it, hence the big debate about it.

It seems a little uncoventional, I know, but I don't believe that I have received any confirmation from God that this individual is my future spouse. When they came to mind more recently, I dismissed the thought. Then, I realized that maybe these were instances where I should just pray for him. I prayed general, good things, like "Help him to seek You more Lord." I know it doesn't benefit me to picture this crush as a spouse, and I have earnestly prayed to God to help me stop thinking about this guy. So, from watching your video, I figured praying the soultie prayer may not only help me solidify that I want my heart and mind to love God first on a conscious level but also work on a deeper spiritual level.
I'm hoping to hear your thoughts on this. I welcome everyone to share their ideas or experiences. I'd love to hear from you all.

Hi Sarah, I have had an experience where I wanted this particular person who I'd find charming and attractive to want me and love me in ways that I want or desire. But I realized I was getting more and more attached to the idea of them loving me but I couldn't be myself with them but try and be someone that pleases them so they'd validate me, and I really hoped this person to turn more god- conscious and I loved the idea of me helping them through their journey, I just got lost in my imagination of building a future with them but over time I realized that this isn't healthy and is unrealistic so I turned towards God and felt I need to work on my relationship with god a lot more and it seems to help me.
