So after nearly 10 years it's time to say goodbye! On to the next chapter and to see what comes with it! We had a good run here but not everything lasts forever.
So many memories in the old place. The bathroom wall Phil's stared down to avoid a hundred baths. The gate where the dogs pop up their heads to greet visitors. The window sills where Milo surveyed his kingdom. The living room that once held hundreds upon hundreds of plastic balls. Amelia's room where Teddy jumped into her crib. Sad to see it go, but it'll be so much fun to see what this new chapter in your lives holds.
It's sad to see the old place disappearing behind you, but we all have to remember that even with the sadness of leaving one place there is always opportunity to make happy memories elsewhere. I hope everything goes well with the new house and I hope that everyone is ready for this new chapter of your lives. We will all be excitingly awaiting to see how things go, but no matter what we'll be here to support our friends
Don't be alarmed if Milo acts strange or unhappy for a while. Cats are more territorial than dogs & might be very homesick at first, even though they love their family. My Tybalt was 8 years old when we moved. He spent the first two weeks in the new house roaming around & crying. I couldn't distract him. He wouldn't even sleep by me as he had always done. He'd nap a little during the day & pace & cry at night. I was really worried about his well being when it suddenly stopped. He began acting like his old self, enjoying it when we went out in our fenced yard, sleeping with me again & actually acting happy & playful again. I was so relieved! So, if there's any problem just hang in there & be understanding & patient. Of course, I don't know when you actually moved. It might already be a few weeks later. If so, I hope everyone's happily settled in. Can't wait to see how it's going! As always, much love from Kentucky U.S.💙🌿
They’ve acquired massive acres of land in their new home it looks like a large estate and the entrance resembles that to Buckingham palace. Wonder what they plan to do how they plan to develop the land. I think there was some talk earlier about opening a petting zoo or something. Maybe they’ll construct a boarding kennel?

My father was in the Service and we moved all over the US, with a cat. He did very will and we never had any worries. It will be ok! Milo knows who loves him!

Moving is so bitter sweet, saying good bye to place that holds so many memories but also excited for what comes next :). Just put Milo next to Phil and I'm sure he will be fine, have a safe move.
as a veteran of the "moving wars", always pack the beds last. that way they're the first thing out of truck. then take out the table and chairs (kitchen or dining room whichever you have). then put the boxed kitchen stuff in the kitchen. then put some of the bathroom stuff in the bathroom. then before anything else, MAKE UP THE BEDS. trust me. at the end of the day you'll be too tired to do it. if you do it in this order, then throughout the day, you'll have places to sit and drink a glass of water or a cup of coffee. trust me, who cares about the Christmas decorations when you can't find the toilet paper or try to eat something with your hands because the kitchen boxes are at the back of the truck.

I know it's bittersweet...just went through this last year as I moved from NY to Florida. The packing and trying to get things from point A to B is nerve wrecking and stressful...but as I sit in my home watching this almost 1yr later ...it was very much worth it and I'm so happy. I know it's bittersweet...just went through this last year as I moved from NY to Florida. The packing and trying to get things from point A to B is nerve wrecking and stressful...but as I sit in my home watching this almost 1yr later ...it was very much worth it and I'm so happy. I pray that your new home and everyone in it is covered with great blessings...can't wait to see it. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🥰🥰
