Hi, thank you for sharing. I seen they have a special deal for kids ages 3-9yrs old $50 per day tickets, I was planning to come 2/24 & 2/25, do you think it's gone crowed and how's the weather.
Do you think for this deal happening from 1/8/24 - 3/10/24 worth it as this will be my children's 1st time going? The deal is half of what we would have to pay but I want to make sure we get the full feature and experience.
the Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride and im excited to see what they do..however i hope the only add to it positive and dont make so many changes that it takes away the good nostalgia of the ride.. such as removing too much of the wrought iron fencing because to me that adds to how the house and ride look. i plan to try to return in 2025 i think so most of the changes are hopefully made and complete... man thats over a year for me, so i will definately be living through my favorite couple Katie and Spencer

So bummed about HM. My sisters and I are taking our dad for his first ever trip Feb 28-Mar 5th and it's one of my favorite rides and one of my Dad's top 5 he wanted to go on. We've had this in the works for the past year and specifically planned for when it should have been returned to standard format vs holiday! 😢
Do you believe for families that right now is a good time to visit. Or is the park improvement and closures damaging the experience of years ago.

I'm coming back in 2024! Our first trip was in 2022 during the D23 Expo, and we are coming back for the D23 Expo this year, too! The first day of the Expo is on my 30th birthday 🥳
There will be a D23 event in Disneyland on Thursday, August 8th. Not sure what it will be, but it may be an after-hours event.
I think they'll aim for Tiana's bayou adventure to be open for Summer. Probably July. I really hope I can get back to Disneyland in 2024.

regarding Tiana's Bayou Adventure - honestly I dont really care. Splash Mountain was one of my fave rides and the changing it from Splash to Tiana's NEVER & still doesn't make sense to me....just my opinion.
Why doesn’t it make sense to you? It’s a movie set in New Orleans about critters. And the ride is located in between New Orleans square and critter country. It’s the perfect retheme and the only people getting upset are racists from middle America/the south
@@gfamhomevideos8062 that’s what confuses me too splash mountain was cool but it’s a super outdated ride with broken animatronics that needed to be replaced let alone an IP that isn’t really profitable. Tiana is an excellent cross way point between critter country and New Orleans square it all ties in.
As someone who just went to Disneyland for the first time in August I always wanted to ride splash mountain so I was disappointed when I saw it closed but then I learned that it was going to be replaced with a Tiana ride at first I was excited because she's one of my favorite princess but now as several months have passed I feel like the retheme is just lazy on Disney's part and that Tiana deserves her own ORIGINAL ride 😶

Other than age, it needed to be re-themed primarily is that younger people are not familiar with the Song of the South. It makes sense to use a newer movie, with a similar geography, which will be more relevant to way more people.
