at 04:39 you can see the hagia sophia, the blue mosque and the topkapi palace from above and if you rewind 10 seconds you can see the kadiköy pier.
this city is so huge it's crazy. the new IST airport is 5.2x larger than what the germans are bulding in berlin, it's rediculously large :)

Β- 777/ 300. Είχε η laouda Air 2 κομμάτια από αυτόν τον τύπο, το ένα έπεσε με 300 από περιδυνηση κάπου στον ειρηνικό και με το άλλο πέταξα Μόναχο - Μαϊάμι ένα Σάββατο που μας ήλθε από Βιένη. Πόσων χρόνων είναι το ερείπιο...

Yeah, me too. There was a really cool vibe around Ataturk Airport. It massively outgrew itself, but still, I liked flying through there, much more cosy than the new airport. The new one almost doesn't feel like an airport.

guzel bir video olmus eline saglik. ancak bu videoda da göruldugu gibi, ne yazik ki carpik kentlesme o guzelim istanbulun anasini aglatmis. yesil alanlarin neredeyse buyuk bir bölumu betonlasmis. dunyanin en guzel sehrini kendi ellerimizle berbat ediyor yok ediyoruz :-(
15 - 20 milyon insanin yasadigi bir sehir ancak bukadar olur. dünyadaki diger mega metropolleri gezmenizi tavsiye ederim.

Istanbul gercekten dunyanin en guzel sehri. Doganin butun guzellikleri, özellikleri bir sehirde toplanmis ama bizler kiymetini bilmiyoruz. insallah gencler genc yöneticiler istanubula gereken degeri verirler.

was the flight coming from east ?which city plz
This was a rare landing which is not the usual one. Although the flight comes from the East and supposed to land (West - South), this was the opposite one (North - East) which was to my very best luck. The flight was coming from Beirut, Lebanon.

@@MichelRazzouk Yes, you were lucky because I flew from Vienna (from west to the east) and I did not see the old center and both Bosphorus bridges at all

I landed on the 13 may to switch on Domestic, plane was a littel late + passport domestic control was quite slow, only 2 Officers and on one line a Russian couple in trouble and no Special office to treat the case, means you have to wait until the guy resolve the problem....CRAZY they must open a Office with all the space around for passengers unregulated, to allow other pax to go.

Yes, maybe but it depends on a specific day, I had the opposite experience and the result was just 20 minutes in duty free section, so many people and lots of controls
but the airport is very amazing itself :))
