Good review. Can't say anything about the Osprey bladder, but the original Hydrapak bladders are great. Have 2 of them (Hydrapak Shape Shifter 2l and 3l) in different bags, they work great, don't leak and they are pretty easy to clean since you can turn them inside out.
Thank you. My longest hike so far is about 4 miles, and this setup is extremely comfortable. The frame and straps, including the pads on the waist belt, are extremely comfortable and makes it seem like I'm carrying less weight.
Also, I've since upgraded to the Osprey 3L water bladder and I'm very happy with it. Taking it in and out for refills is super easy, and the flat shape of the bladder also makes it seem lighter for some reason.
