    I am running the alternator at about 60 amps. I don't push it high unless I'm doing an experiment. So far so good !

    It prevents a engine backfire from reaching the hho system reservoir tank and blowing it up.

    To prove your flash Arrester works please use clear tubing on both sides of it and do it in a darkened room

      If it didn't work there would be a MUCH Bigger Explosion @ his Gas Source or even on that long hose! Here is a HUGH HHO Explosion with just a small amount of GAS th-cam.com/video/3aCQ12j2cfY/w-d-xo.html

    Great system for a torch setup, I don't need 12 lpm but very instructable

    Very nice video. Is the idea of the arrestor to allow gas through but stop a flame going back because the metal wool conducts away it's heat?

    • @Hydrogen4Health
      @Hydrogen4Health  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not made with medal wool but yes it stops the flame from going through.

      @@Hydrogen4Health so how does it allow gas through but not a flame the other way?

    I still don't have the injector adapters done yet the machine shop is taking way to long to do it I think I'm going to find a different machinist to machine the parts I need so I can do more testing and start working the bugs out of the best design yet!

    Why would the tube melt is the flashback takes a fraction of a second? The gas completely consumes itself. I have more than a couple of comments here. I had no idea that people wouldn't understand how it works. I will be doing another video. So If you could see the flashback getting to the arrestor would you believe it? Maybe a video in the dark?

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know you write this a month ago but I just saw it. If you understand how hho burns you will know that it burned right up the clear tube to the arrestor. It isn't drawn out. In the video you can actually see the flash at the arrestor.

  • @Hydrogen4Health

    separator cells are a complicated and costly design. That's why people don't do it. but yes that would negate the need for a flash arrestor.

  • @matton36
    @matton36 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Incorrect. Seperator cells need flash arrestors too. This is because inside the cell a membrane is used to sperate the O from the H. This membrane has very small holes in it so that water can pass through and this electrons. If the pressure on one side of the membrane is different to the other, it is possible for the gasses to mix slightly. Ive seen it happen. Always use a flash arrestor.

    Sounds good man! I am settled in for the most part! I am working on a more improved fuel vapor bubbler system which should give consistent results and will have it installed and running in my Jeep when I stop by if all goes as planned!

    This unit doesn't use bronze or ss wool so it flows a lot better. also if the ss wool type arrestor is not packed right it can fail. I think people buy these to be safe. Getting it wrong can be dangerous. An exploding tank of caustic KOH will ruin your day.

    No moving equipment known in this planet including those that could no longer move because of extreme weight will need your 12 liters per minute of HHO delvis. Just where the hell are you going to apply this kind of production? On a gigantic space city run by internal combustion engine? Unless of course you would want to separate the gasses and store that 12 lpm of Hydrogen and sell it until you get rich.

    Hi, i don't understand why you trust all these plastic and not professional items...you can buy from a storeshop professional tested [having iso & Din] for asetiline or propanium ....other way is a simple ''water trapper'', or a flashback which ingludes charcoal [just like black sand] . I work in a big factoty in Greece and we've a serie of mechanical ,charcoal and water trap...in serie .HHO is more explosive 2.5 than gasoline...so nothing is innocent.
