Zemax Tutorial 8 - Fold Mirrors

Have you ever needed a fold mirror in your Zemax optical system? This tutorial shows you how. There are two methods: 1) used the tilt/decenter tab on surface properties, 2) a coordinate break surface type.
Caution: Tilts, decenters and combinations thereof can become very complicated: user be aware!

Hi Scott! Great video series, learning a lot from you. One question: Could you explain how to design dichroic beam splitters in a sequential mode (or normal beam splitters as a first step). How can I specify transmission and reflection on a surface? Would tremendously appreciate your guidance on that. Once again: great video series. Thank you for that. :)

Now I know how to use fold mirrors in ZEMAX!
Is there anyway to use dichroic mirror in ZEMAX?
I want to separate light rays as its wavelength using dichroic mirror.

How can you model a dichroic mirror in zemax? Can ZEMAX input one wavelength and output a different wavelength as in fluorescent microscopy ? Your videos have been extremely helpful. Thank you.
