Hi, i tried to braid all the way to the end for my daughter but if you can not get the ends just let them be the hair will eventually loc with less tampering.
How do you know what my daughter will want later in life? Please keep it moving if you do not like our content. All these hairstyles have been by her own choice and she is free to choose as she pleases. Take a seat before commenting on other peoples kids.
Locs aren't set in stone. If she decides she doesn't want locs anymore, they can be combed out. Yes it takes time and there will be plenty of shed hair, but locs aren't set in stone, and even grown ups wake up one day and decide they are done with locs and want to return to loose hair.
I agree with this comment! Why loc kids hair at such a young age? Whether or not they ask for it! They're too young to be sure what they want! I waited until my daughter was 17 to make sure that's what she really wanted! Now she's 24 and she doesn't want locs!💁🏽♂️

Your own child is proof that even when they're older and know what they want, they can still change their mind - I mean, grown ups change their mind about hair all the time too. Your daughter could have waited till 24 to have locs, then decide she's over them at 35 and cut them or comb them out. It's just hair, not a lifetime commitment.

She's too young to make any decisions about her life style! That's the problem with these younger people today!! They're not being guided correctly and growing up to fast making mistakes in their lives. I understand you said it's just hair ! But why get her hair locked at such a young age then when she gets older and wants to explore more hairstyles then have to cut all her hair off as an adult and wait for her hair to grow back to do so???? Hair doesn't grow that damn fast!! 😒 the point is,,,,kids shouldn't be allowed to make important decisions about their appearance because the parents are lazy and don't want to keep up the daily hair dressing for their child! Using this method on my son. However, how do you get the end of the braid to loc? My son has fine hair so the braid keeps unraveling. Thank you.
