Doing our Farm Family Animal Chores for late December day in the winter. We don't have any meat chickens to take care this time of the year and we didn't show the chores needed inside the farm house on the pets and fish in there but we did most of the outdoor farm chores this really cold December Morning.

Curious, why do you keep the horses in during the day and let them out at night? Do they want to be in during the day? Just learning about horses and all

We keep our drafts out most of the time, barns are not really the place for the horse. Yes great shelter in the storms but they need to be eating and moving hence during the day we bring them, inspect the feet daily, let them have little treat with their vitamins and then turn out again=)

Why did you go with heat in the concrete and overhead rather than insulate the building?

Angelina Smith well an animal owner actually dedicate their lives to their animals they'd be able to spell Guinea pigs right. And if you have 200-300 animals you'd be long broke by now. Nice try 8 year old
