Great boards. I bought a Carver CI Flyer a few years ago with C7 trucks (the dual axis front truck). I love it. Definitely helped with my surfing. My arms were all wrong, especially on my back hand. Was able to carve down the street and focus on that until it became second nature. Really helped me on the waves. And it’s just fun to mess around on too :)
That’s amazing. When I was a kid growing up, you had to go way beyond earning a pro model to be called a pro skater. I guess since you’re bad ass in all water sports, it’s like one of those honorary titles whereby they give you what you didn’t earn so people on both sides can make money and feel good. I can’t wait to see you bring SurfSkating to the next level. I’ll be waiting for those clips to drop.

Your rant is foolish. Carver along with the other major surfskate brands that exist don't see themselves as skateboard companies in the traditional sense. The target market is the surf market and they largely promote their products as alternative surf training tools. From that perspective collaborating with giants of the surf world makes sense and gives the product legitimacy as a surf product. The fact that surfskate has grown a following from people like myself who absolutely have no interest in surfing doesn't change the fact that the image these companies promote will always be of the surf life since that was the entire reason they were founded in the first place. To provide an outlet for surfers when there are no waves.

Surfskate is for both surfers AND skaters. So yea, I'd say having his own pro model surfskate board is legit, as he is a pro surfer.

that is sooo good! carvering on a Carver has made my a much much better surfer. When I'm away from the waves, it keep me in some surfing shape!
