My 1st radio back was during Lockdown 2020, i bought a CRT Xenon, out the box 2.8w, Secret Menu Activated, now does 8/10w, never had a complaint with the radio. Do like the new Thunderpole T-X hand-held cb, non in stock until September though.
@@randykitchleburger2780 I ain't no technician & don't proclaim to be mate, but the CRT/Anytone's comes HP in some sets, upto 25w in some. Finals & transistors thats probably more you. Saying that, I bought a soldering station yesterday & I don't even do soldering, it's a Yihua 938BD+ to practice probably PL plugs. The Xenon is ok as a 2way for 4x4 or field working 30km, but running it around 7w through a Kl203, and it's a cracking little set up. Boxed away somewhere, replaced by other CRT's/Alinco's. 73's, 407 Mcr Uk 👋
