I am a Medical Technologist and I just started as a Nuclear Medtech in our Local Hospital. I hope I would Finiah My Training and be assigned in the U.S.A
You can max out north of low 6 figures with at least 10-15 years experience. Techs in/near Washington DC can make $85k and make another $15-25k from call studies. They usually get paid 4 hrs minimum for 1 call study. The typical study is a lung vq which takes less than 30 minute. Hospitals in more rurual areas may only pay 2 hrs for 1 call study. If you have over 25 years experience, you can easily make $100k without being aggressive with call
I would like to get into this field. I work in the ER at the hospital and looking to get out and use my BS in biology for something better. Would I be getting another BS degree or will it be a master's?
